It's a certified B corp which means all their ingredients are sustainably and ethically sourced! That's a big plus! The place is so nicely designed with so many places to sit. Big beautiful windows let in lots of sun and natural light. I love sitting outside in the summer taking in the energy of downtown. You can tell this place really puts a lot of effort into caring and supporting their local community! This is the ideal local coffee shop. As soon as I got it, I went and sat at a table and I could tell the bread was not fresh. It was very hard. I immediately went back up and asked if the bread was made today? And she said, "no, She gave me day old bread." Which I did pay full price for. I asked if I could have a fresh loaf because the one they had given me was very hard. She said, "no, if I want fresh I have to ask for fresh." I couldn't believe I was told that., Then I talked to the manager. He said the same thing, "you have to ask if you want fresh bread" I honestly couldn't believe they told a customer that. Will I be back? "Yes", but very disappointed in the reply. And now I know to always ask for fresh bread to me that was very bad business.
