Fields look well maintained with only 2 of the larger fields built for "mainstream" use since they have the large stadium seating. The other fields are all "Bring your own chair". There is an abundance of lights for night time play at all of the fields, which makes this place very flexible for the large soccer population. Goals are also well maintained and with various sizes for full and half field play. Totally surrounded by trees, the shade provides a nice cool environment to spectate as well.

There is green space too where we had sack races, tug of war....you reserve (or rent) a pavilion where we had our food, drinks, cake etc. Like I said it's a very nice park and well used. One thing was the restrooms, they could be updated.

However, I seen plenty of people fishing and several boats in the water oh, so that is why I say that it seems to be more of a boat ramp and a focus on the water here more than the actual park. There is a bait shop on property, as well as a few porta potties. All in all, I would recommend to visit here.

It can be a real cluster when soccer games are going on at the same time and everyone is looking for a spot, leaving many people to park on the side of the road, making the roads pretty narrow to manuever. I'm not sure if they spray for mosquitos at these fields, but I'd assume they don't, just based on coming home with loads of bug bites after an hour of sitting outside. That may be something the county/city wants to look into doing. The fields are typically in good shape, grass is normally mowed and maintained, which is great.

We stay at the inn at least 3 weekends a year and always take our fur child. We like to walk with her in the park. The park is never crowded and very peaceful. Being in Florida, it is also has many trees, which provide plenty of shade. There are also several benches throughout for you to sit. They are made out of stone. There is a statue of St. Francis of Assisi in the back corner of the park. Our dog hates it for some reason and always barks at it! We did notice this recent trip that homeless people are staying there at night, just an FYI. It is also a little higher than the sidewalk. I never noticed a ramp for wheelchairs, just stairs. This park is so quiet and a great place to meditate or reflect. You don't even need music.
