When I arrived for my inspection, I was greeted by David, I believe. (There are two guys who run it- Tony and David). Both were very nice and friendly. Since I was waiting for my car, they made sure I was comfortable. They have a TV, comfortable chairs, and a nice bathroom for people who wait. The inspection finished quickly, and unfortunately I needed to replace a pair of shocks. David took me back and showed me the parts that needed replacing, and explained to me what was wrong with them, which I really appreciated. He told me that I could get it repaired elsewhere, and he could reinspect the car, or I could get it repaired there. I chose to get it done there, and he called around to find the parts. He located one that could be at the shop for the next morning, and quoted me just under $400 for the repair. Since my car is a BMW, parts are normally expensive, and I'm pretty sure it would have been at least twice as expensive through a BMW dealer. I came back the next morning, and both Tony and David worked on the repair and got me out of there in about 45 minutes. Two thumbs up for making a failed inspection a good experience! If I lived closer, I would definitely make this my full-time car place. The owners are friendly, helpful, fair, and good at what they do. I'd highly recommend this place!

WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT CHANCE GETTING A CAR FROM THESE SCAM…read moreARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bough my 2015 Ford Explorer 3 months ago from Larry. Who by the way has crap customer service and thinks that its okay to raise his voice at his customers. So me and my husband bought the car and told him we needed to get it registered in MD where we live. He said that they would be able to do that with no problem. They give us a 3 month temp tag which I though was weird but they said was normal in DE. So I double checked and asked him they where going to mail us our permanent tags or would we have to come pick them up and Larry was very clear that he would mail them to us. Then when our 3 month temp tag expires we call them and speak with Larry and he says that he never said he would mail our tags to us and that we had to take the car to get a MD state inspection. Fast forward we go get the inspection done the next day and the car fails inspection for multiple reasons. The back tires both need to be replaced as one had whole plug to close to the tire wall to be a good fix and the other tire had cracks that stretched all the way to the tire wall. The driver-side outer tie rod had excessive movement and inner tie rod boot is damaged with the clamp lodged inside the pinion. Both mufflers have rot holes in them and its leaking break fluid. Now there where other things wrong like the battery was bad, rear axel seals have been leaking for a while. So I call Larry and I'm pissed. He says well your cars out of warranty there's nothing I can do about it. So now I'm paying out of pocket $3400 just to get the car to pass a state inspection and I'll be having our military lawyers take them to court. This is was just crazy. Larry and the rest of the store knew what kind of shape the car was in and sold it anyway. THE WORST KIND OF PEOPLE. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

The first time, my check engine light came on. They couldn't fit me in for a full appointment for a few weeks, but they still had me bring the car in to run a diagnostic and make sure it was safe to drive. After checking it out, they told me they believed it simply needed an oil change. They didn't charge me anything for the diagnostic, and they were right--once I got the oil changed, the check engine light never came back. The second time, I brought my car in for a different issue. They were thorough, completed the work in a timely manner, and charged a fair price. About a month later, I started experiencing similar symptoms again, so I brought it back. They dug a little deeper and discovered a nest inside the system that was blocking the drain. They spent over an hour fixing the problem, getting completely soaked in the process. When it was time to pay, they told me there was no charge because they considered it related to the previous repair. I can't say enough good things about this company. It's rare to find a business that combines excellent workmanship with this level of honesty and customer service. They've earned my trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

After waiting all day without any feedback, we finally called to inquire about our older vehicle, a 2008 Mercury Sable, did not due to an issue with a side light. The young lady proceeded to tell us it didn't pass inspection b/c it needed tires, and there was an issue w/a side light, but they were looking for the part. So not thinking it was a major problem, we had requested an oil change and said go ahead with the new tires & fix the side light. The next day rolls around and we're told they can't find the part. The car is old, so we're thinking oh my! We just spent close to $700 dollars for a car we'll have to scrap?! Why would they do the other work if they didn't have a supplier for the side light? Not feeling very confident in their response or expertise, we contacted our mechanic in NJ. Told him the issue, and in less than 3 min (no exaggeration) he knew exactly what we needed and where to get it. When we told him the shop here in MD couldn't find the part he laughed. He told us I guess they've never heard of Amazon. We were going to NJ two days later & swung by to see our mechanic. He pulled up the part on Amazon. Told my husband exactly what to order and said if they couldn't figure it out after that to bring it back to him to fix. The part was $8 bucks! Just shy of $800 dollars later & our $8 dollar part procured via Amazon, the car was back on the road. Needless to say we are still looking for a local, trustworthy, competent auto shop. *Btw, they've changed the name to Autostream Car Care Center, Singer Rd, Abingdon, MD

I took my car to Firestone for what I thought was a simple taillight change, but it turns out I had a much deeper electrical issue that required a place specializing in European cars to fix. Dealerships are always overpriced, but the woman at Firestone recommended Euromotive to me. I'm so glad she did. They were honest, great at communicating, and thorough. They even gave me options for the repair (new part or used part) and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. All in all I got a used part (electronics module) and the total with labor was about $700, versus $1,100 if I opted for a new part.
