He answered our questions and worked up a preliminary deal even though it was his day off. After a bit of negotiation we agreed to proceed. We drove the 2 1/2 hours from southern Delaware to the dealership. Dave took us on an extended test drive and the car was every bit as good as he said it was. The rest of the purchase process went smoothly and they even invited our two elderly terriers into the showroom as we did the paperwork, which was appreciated. This dealer and its people have an old school, small town vibe which is a welcome relief from the pressure cooker mega-dealer experience. Everyone was very responsive and helpful but there was no razzle dazzle "gotta buy it today" sales nonsense like so many other places. We are happy with our new car, with the trade in value we received, and especially with the way we were treated.

When I arrived for my inspection, I was greeted by David, I believe. (There are two guys who run it- Tony and David). Both were very nice and friendly. Since I was waiting for my car, they made sure I was comfortable. They have a TV, comfortable chairs, and a nice bathroom for people who wait. The inspection finished quickly, and unfortunately I needed to replace a pair of shocks. David took me back and showed me the parts that needed replacing, and explained to me what was wrong with them, which I really appreciated. He told me that I could get it repaired elsewhere, and he could reinspect the car, or I could get it repaired there. I chose to get it done there, and he called around to find the parts. He located one that could be at the shop for the next morning, and quoted me just under $400 for the repair. Since my car is a BMW, parts are normally expensive, and I'm pretty sure it would have been at least twice as expensive through a BMW dealer. I came back the next morning, and both Tony and David worked on the repair and got me out of there in about 45 minutes. Two thumbs up for making a failed inspection a good experience! If I lived closer, I would definitely make this my full-time car place. The owners are friendly, helpful, fair, and good at what they do. I'd highly recommend this place!

The first time, my check engine light came on. They couldn't fit me in for a full appointment for a few weeks, but they still had me bring the car in to run a diagnostic and make sure it was safe to drive. After checking it out, they told me they believed it simply needed an oil change. They didn't charge me anything for the diagnostic, and they were right--once I got the oil changed, the check engine light never came back. The second time, I brought my car in for a different issue. They were thorough, completed the work in a timely manner, and charged a fair price. About a month later, I started experiencing similar symptoms again, so I brought it back. They dug a little deeper and discovered a nest inside the system that was blocking the drain. They spent over an hour fixing the problem, getting completely soaked in the process. When it was time to pay, they told me there was no charge because they considered it related to the previous repair. I can't say enough good things about this company. It's rare to find a business that combines excellent workmanship with this level of honesty and customer service. They've earned my trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
