I never get mad in stores, but today I was so angry at the poor work ethic I observed, and the girls that were in LALA LAND.I walked in the store and noticed two co-workers not helping me at all and just standing there gossiping about another co-worker that has a bad attitude because she is stressed out about having two jobs, and that she needs to leave the Abercrombie job or the other job if she wants to have a better attitude. During their nice conversation, they did not offer any help to me in the store (it was the first time I've been there in years). The worst part was when I went to pay, there was about three people in line ahead of me, and only one cashier, while the other two girls that worked there walked by casually and WALKED TO THE BACK WHILE THE OTHER CASH REGISTER WAS EMPTY, WITHOUT CARING! I couldn't believe my eyes. Is this what they call work ethic and caring about their customers? Is it normal to see employees just walk into the back together almost holding hands looking like they are going to play dominoes , while there is a long line and an obviously empty cash register that is available to take the next customers? If I worked there and saw that long line, I would have quickly rushed to the cash register to take the next customer so the line would go faster. Instead, they are in LALA LAND! I would really love to have this job actually, if all I need to do is stand there, talk crap and look pretty! They lost a purchase today, because I was more angry than the thought of wanting that sweater. read more
