Most jeep rentals will not allow pets. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the transaction was smooth and easy. We had an awesome time, and really loved the Jeep. Renting a jeep here was so much better than taking any of the wild horse tours. You are not guaranteed to see wild horses, and you are stuck next to strangers on many of the tours. We did a 1 day rental for $250. Well worth it!

Drove up to Corolla and cruised the beach and stopped for lunch and some swimming. Even got to see the horses. Convenient drop-off that evening after running through the car wash and giving the jeep a good vacuum. Would highly recommend renting here. And, the price for the 4 of us for was pretty close to what we'd pay for 4 people on a commercial tour.

The top down, music blasting, 4wd beach ride was so much fun! The backseat was actually comfy, I am 6'4" and with the front seat pushed up I was more than comfy. Saw probably 30 horses and had a blast. Would 100% recommend.

We arrived in town on Saturday and I booked a 4 hr rental on the 4-seater dune-buggy for Tuesday at…read more1:00 pm. Tony (owner) was an effective communicator - the app worked fine and we meet him 35 minutes out in Duck to grab the buggy and drive up to the 4WD beach another 35 minutes away. The vehicle was a kick to drive. Top speed on the highway is @45 mph (Only a 4-speed) and in the sand we got it up to 35 mph. The 4WD beach is supper long (@23 miles) that you can drive on. We got about 7 miles in and turned around. The entire stretch of the drive found hundreds of parked 4-wheelers with their groups all engaged in various beach activities. Just remember that the speed limit is 15 mph where you can see people (which was most of the time). So build your expectations accordingly - this excursion is not one where you can get the full speed up, but there where stretches where you could throttle up and move around some sand! We needed to go a little further in where the dunes were located that allowed you to drive on them - but were already scheduled for a later event so didn't get that piece of the ride in. There where several wild horses We encountered countered along the way. Tons of friendly people waving at you, because the buggy is cool to look at. Miles of great beaches so bring your swim gear to stop (like we did) and take a dip. The buggy is a lIttle tight on rear leg room, but open and breezy. Remember - no power steering so be ready. Tony will meet you wherever you want with the buggy, but the closer to the end of Corolla the better. It is a hoot, completed a bucket list item for me and my three adult kids and I made another great memory in the Outer Banks- Summer 2020!

Absolutely the highlight of our Outer Banks trip!…read more Our sunset sail in Manteo was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! The boat was beautiful, and our captain and first mate were wonderful--friendly, welcoming, and made the entire experience feel so special. They went above and beyond to personalize our sail with a beautiful charcuterie board, our favorite drinks, and music. And the homemade strawberry lavender jam on the charcuterie board was incredible--I actually tried to buy some to take home, but unfortunately it wasn't for sale! As if the gorgeous sail wasn't enough, we had dolphins swimming right beside the boat for a good portion of our trip. It was such an incredible experience to watch them so close while sailing. We ended the evening with a beautiful sunset, lots of laughs, and memories we'll never forget. This was hands-down one of our favorite experiences and truly the highlight of our trip to the Outer Banks. If you're considering a sunset sail in Manteo, book it! We would absolutely do it again.

Nice way to spend an afternoon…read more After beach, sand, sun, beach, sand, sun, it was a nice break to do something different. Our neighbors at the house we rented suggested dolphin watching and recommended Capt. Stuart Wescott and his tour. Wasn't too happy that I had to travel down to Manteo (car travel in the Outer Banks can be murder - worst than the GW bridge in rush hour). Luckily, it wasn't as bad as I had feared. The quaint little town of Manteo was an added bonus. Nice seaport-esque village with nice quaint little stores. As for the cruise itself, you actually sail with Capt Wescott. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Told silly jokes to keep the voyage light hearted. Sold drinks at a very reasonable price. The bathroom was also very convenient and clean. Strangely, this seems to be a selling point compared to their competitors. Saw many dolphins. Very docile and peaceful. Don't expect any flips or spins or twists. This isn't a SeaWorld show. The captain was very patient. Kept us out there a while until everyone had their fill of watching dolphins swim. After the initial excitement of finding and seeing the dolphins, there's only so much more you can watch, at least for me. On the downside, it is a touch expensive for a ferry ride but comparable to everyone else. Overall, a nice alternative If you need a break from the beach to let the sunburn recover.
