Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rosado for the exceptional care he has given our daughter over the last 12 years. His compassion, thoughtful listening, and ability to balance her perspective with ours have made all the difference. He has always taken her genetic condition seriously, ensuring it's fully considered in every diagnosis and decision. His referrals beyond ABCD Pediatric Clinic have been essential to her wellbeing, and we are deeply grateful. Thank you for your genuine care, comfort, and patience. You truly are amazing. I have been taking my two kids here for about 1.5 years. Initially we went there because of its proximity to where we lived. It was a 3 minute drive, and there was a Dr. Farooqi that was just absolutely wonderful! She is no longer w/ the practice, but there are so many other great doctors and practitioners that I've had a pleasure of seeing since then. Dr. Tressler, Dr. Monk, and Rebecca Jimenez have all been great. I'd like to point out that Dr. Tressler was VERY thorough when I brought in my sick infant for a diaper rash and he sat down, answered all my questions, and STILL gave me reasons why stuff like that occurs. After that appointment, I requested Dr. Tressler for both my kids, and although I got the initial appointment -- it ended up not being with him because he was switched to another location (floating pediatrician?) within ABCD. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is -- You may not always get the provider you want, and sometimes the change is warranted but other times I feel like it's not. I'd rather stick with the same provider so that we have an established patient-provider relationship and the ease my babes feel when coming in for their well visits. HOWEVER, I've had a SUPERIOR experience when it comes to getting my kids seen when there is an urgent matter -- usually same day appointments. The facility is CLEAN, lots of space in the lobby and very kiddo friendly. For us, it's been worth the 35 minute drive, and we hope to keep coming back. read more

WARNING PARENTS This place is so messed up I have been seen dr sneed for 20 years for all 3 of my children. This past July I took my daughter in for a simple physical and two shots for school. I was told a back to school special of $25 was the cost plus $10 each for shots. Once I got there the office staff tried to charge me $118 for the visit. After I told her I was quoted another price a lady from the back said "oh the back to school special for $25" and the girl checking me out said it's $39. So my price went from $25 to $39 what is it???? Then I leave the office and get a bill two weeks later for $210!!!!!!! They charged me almost $300 for the visit. I'll post all the asinine charges they claim are valid. But this is ridiculous and sounds like a scam the office girls are trying to run. They charged $15 for a mental wellness assessment test which we didn't ask for and were never told what it was or that there would be a charge. All they said was there are MORE questions in addition to the questions we already filled out prior to our appointment. I would avoid this place at all cost. Dr Sneed is a great dr but it's not worth going through the hassle of fighting these money hungry people for a simple routine check up. I guess someone has to pay for the new building. read more

I've taken my kids here for almost four years and have had no issues; everyone is very nice and professional! Highly recommend!

Brandi Johnson was a blessing. She made my daughter check up smooth and easy. She really cares about her job and the kids. Making them feel safe read more

I have been going to this practice for 6 years. We love Dr Kuri but I cannot deal with the office anymore. I have waited on the phone over an hour only to get kicked out of the que and then my call not returned for 5 days. The last time I went in, the new physician was dismissive. The lady at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. Then, when I said I was looking for another practice she told me "and that's ok". I did get a call from a manager and they helped set up the new portal. Only to find out later that u cannot book appointments through it, the practice isn't listed under messages so there is no way to send a message to request a call. The only thing the app is good for is to see past visits and the information on those is limited. Such a let down. I am not sure what is going on with their management but I would sadly suggest to avoid and find another clinic. read more

Extremely lousy service. I have called them and left a call back number many hours ago. Yet I am getting no response. I called them again and again left a call back number. I have a sick child I will have to go Urgent Care because these people do not call me back. I am extremely disappointed. Coincidence or not, but after posting my review I got a call back from them. I now have an appointment for today. Navin read more

Type of care is ok but the admin office needs an overhaul. Ive emailed their office several times since 10/11/24, it's now 11/6/24 and no response. I went to the office today to physically turn in the emailed doc since they don't respond to email. While at the office I requested to speak to the office manager so that they were aware of the lack concern or response I've received. They were not available then and no one has reached to out to me UNSURPRISINGLY. Matter is still unresolved read more

Do NOT recommend. They don't care about patients, but rather it's a business now. They have lost all sight of what's good for the children to focus on a big business operation instead. Sad because we would drive a ways to get there for several years. read more

Didn't even step foot in this place, and was rejected care for my newborn because I had a concerned about one of their policies. Immediately felt like they didn't care about what the parents felt was right for their child. It was either you follow what the doctor says is right for your child, or they will no longer welcome to this office anymore. read more

I love Dr.Sneed but her staff are TERRIBLE. the nurse they have gives vaccinations EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE and doesn't know how to do them properly. Will not be coming back. read more

Just FYI, ABCD Pediatrics will only give care to kiddos who are vaccinated. The receptionist was nice on the phone. read more

NP Jimenez was amazing! She was so kind to my 17yr and he felt comfortable during his well check.

Beware: It is my belief that ABCD Pediatrics provides poor service and engages in billing practices that are not consistent with AMA and CPT guidelines. In my experience, they intentionally overcode(d) visit(s), likely as an attempt to generate increased revenue, not suspecting that an individual patient is informed enough on medical billing practices to notice. Beware. Additionally, we have had a very difficult time with both office staff and some of the treating providers... Over an hour wait, being rushed out, not taking full patient histories. Go find a different provider, ABCD would not be worth ever taking your child. read more

Every time I call in to make an appointment the people on the other line are so nice. Their customer service is awesome. Today I called in to get a same day appointment and Amy helped me. So pleasant and seemed to really love her job. read more

Ladies in the front are very rude. Every time, negative vibe. You are dealing with sick kids half the time, and they give you a whole speech for being there at the time of the appointment. Then they act like they are doing you a favor for getting you in at the time of your appointment. Tried paying cash, and rudely said "there's a sign". I continue to come here because they have all my sons info, and the doctors are good. But the front desk staff has to change their attitude. read more

I don't know what happened but care has gone down the toilet. We used to live them not anymore. The last two times no tests were run and we ended up taking our son to the ER and UC to review care. Including once where we were told he was stopped up they prescribed laxatives and turns out he had the flu! read more

Front office staff and billing department has poor customer service skills and more training needed for them. Sadly after 7 years only because we like the pediatrician we will not be returning. read more

Doctors have been great. Dr. Kuri is wonderful. However, the time to receive calls back is poor. I understand there's a high volume, but to not receive a call back at all is not understandable. read more

We have taken all our kids here for past 20 years and our youngest 15 y/o is last kiddo to go here. It use to be a great pediatrician office with convenience of also having different locations. Doctors seems to be excellent. However over the past 2-4 years they have changed and not for the best. I still believe the doctors are great, but that is if you can make appointment to see them. Office staff are lazy and don't answer phone. When you request callback I have them call, it rings twice and they hang up. So I had to start waiting process over again. By the time they called me back surprise all appointments for that day gone. They sent me to this chop shop satellite pediatrician office and when I got there 15 mins early as instructed it was locked up. Apparently this place locks up for lunch. The problem with ABCD is the hassle to just be seen and office staff. Billing can also be messy at times so good luck. The doctors should demand more out of office manager. I think it's time to boot their arse to curb and my son can be seen by my pcp. Good riddance. read more

They were very rushed when they did the check up. I didn't even get a chance to ask questions. You will have to ask them for a favor if you need them to put the vaccine record on your card, which was a standard in my kids' previous pediatric office! read more

After months and months of not getting anywhere with the company, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. One month later after the BBB filing, ABCD Pediatrics sent a refund check. Thank you BBB! read more

I have been taking my kids here for 9 years. They have a ton of drs which makes it easier to schedule an emergency visit. They have multiple offices. They even helped diagnose my daughter when she became sick and had to be referred to an oncologist (which my daughter adores). The staff is professional and very helpful. We did move to the opposite side of town, but still come back to this site until all my kids are to old to come here. read more

Can never get in contact with anyone from the office. Same msg about upgrading system, please be patient, but come enough already. Been trying to get a hold of someone for months!! We just started going to this pediatric office and they were great, now it seems like a totally different non-functioning business. read more

Over the past year or so since ABCD Pediatrics was acquired their patient care and customer service have seriously declined. They've taken away late evening appointments, Saturday appointments and you can hardly ever get same day appointments for sick kiddos. They never answer the phone and the patient portal is a joke. Long time doctors have been fleeing from all their office locations which is very telling. read more

I would not even start going to this place. You will never get someone to answer the phone. Find a doctor's office that believes in customer service. read more

The only reason I've stayed is because Dr. Tressler is the best!!! I've called everyday this week and requested a phone call back with no follow through. Their new portal is so flawed for the past several weeks that it doesn't even show their location when trying to send a message, it shows offices in Maryland. This office has went down the drain since they sold the practice. Major steps backward for them Everyday!!!!!! Wouldn't recommend this practice to my worst enemy! Would recommend Dr. Tressler to everyone. Will follow him the day he decides to leave. read more

I have been taking my children here for 12 years. It WAS a great practice. It's gone downhill this past year. Impossible to speak to someone and have them return calls/messages. The new patient portal is not user friendly and, again, no support from any staff member. Unfortunately, I will be seeking a new provider. read more

Tried calling for an appoint 4 times for my baby being released form the NICU. Not only did I call 4 times only to have them tell me they would call right back, but after waiting 5+ days I NEVER got a call back. What kind of service is this? Unfortunately I'll have to take my business else where where I can trust a pediatric office will actually schedule an appointment for my child read more

I wish I could give this facility less than a star. I have been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt since they have recently been purchased by a larger management company. This company is absolutely horrible. And what is worse, I discovered today that the recent provider we were supposed to see wrote a note in my daughter's chart for an appointment that did not take place. Dr. Rosado wrote that we had talked about my daughter's "acute pain" and the plan was to "follow up". This note was read to me by the billing department over the phone. We never saw the provider! We had to leave the office because we had been waiting in the exam room for over 45 minutes and I had to pick up my other children from school. The billing person stated "well he makes mistakes". As a health care provider, I can assure that I do not chart notes for patients I did not see and write a pretend plan that I did not talk about. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE. read more

Gayla in your billing department has changed my view of ABCD Pediatrics. She was condescending when she called me. She stated that I didn't call her back to pay my $18 bill last month and stated that my card was declined when that was far from the truth. She said that bill has "grown" since then to a WHOPPING $36. I'm a working mom, I forgot. I asked her to call me back so I could give her my debit card info and she said she would call me back. No call back and she went ahead and ran my card under the terms of the agreement I signed. Why did she even call then?! Why did she say she was going to call me back and then proceeded to run my card that I asked her not to run anyway!? I hope she's getting you results because she sure has turned me off to your business. Her accusatory tone, as if I'm tying to duck out on a bill is insulting and infuriating! I gave stars because I actually really like my daughters doctor, but treatment by staff is unacceptable! read more

They're absolutely the worst they don't answer the phone at 9:30 am when my baby is sick. They're terrible please go elsewhere. Last time I was on the phone 15 mins before someone answered to tell me they couldn't see my daughter. Def changing. read more

ABCD Pediatrics - Stone Oak - Just wasting my time. - Pediatricians Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

It saddens me to update this with a lower rating, as we still love the doctors, but the front office staff is incredibly rude. I've managed a large medical practice and I'm aware of how high paced and stressful checkin/checkout can be. There is absolutely no excuse for the excessive bad attitudes given by the front staff. Administration needs to step up their standards in hiring, training, and expectations, because the front staff is the worst I've encountered. read more

We've always been HUGE fans of ABCD. They've always been so sweet with our daughter. No matter who we've seen, they know exactly what is going on and what to recommend. LOVE dr Wilke but everyone on staff is excellent. read more

Front desk is rude and very demanding about wearing a mask. Last time we were there they pressured us to vaccinate my little one. We will never go back. read more

Although this is a nice facility their staff sucks. Front desk is rude. They do NOT inform any of the patients when running behind. I've been waiting for an HOUR. And the best they can tell me is I SHOULD be next. Would a doctor wait more than 15 min if I was late for my appt? No. But yet they have us waiting for an hour. Like we have nothing to do with our lives. If they would've said dr is running 30-40 min late I would've stopped to get the kids something to eat. I would've kept my son in school a little longer. But front desk is stupid and don't give a shit so we're sitting here. read more

My child went to Dr. Gonzales because of ear pain and a scratchy throat. He was fine, no fever- thought it was allergies. Thank you for saving me a trip and the expense!!!!! read more

I used to take my daughter to ABCD when there was only one location and they were awesome. No wait time, front desk was friendly etc. Unfortunately now it's the complete opposite. The front desk is so rude , wait time is no less than 30 minutes now and the doctors (mostly the new ones) are always in a rush. So disappointed. read more

ABCD Pediatrics is absolutely wonderful and IMHO, has one of the best practices in San Antonio! On two occasions, their doctors recognized things that had been missed by other physicians. We began using ABCD Pediatrics in 2007 when my oldest daughter was about ten months old. We had been referred to them (and Dr. Richard Schlossburg) by a friend who had being using ABCD for years. We had been using another pediatrician in the Stone Oak area but had decided to seek a second opinion when my daughter's "chronic" coughing and wheezing continued to worsen. The other practice's doctor repeatedly told us that she was fine..."just suffering from allergies and that she was probably going to become asthmatic." Shortly after meeting with Dr. Schlossburg, he recognized that her symptoms were not consistent with allergies and asmtha but that of RSV. A brief test confirmed his diagnosis and her new breathing treatments began. Her infection was so bad, it almost progressed into pneumonia. Our second "confirmation" came a couple of years later in June 2009. Our second child was born at North Central Baptist Hospital in Stone Oak. Her delivery was a bit more complicated than our first child's, but the delivering docs (also from Stone Oak) didn't see any complications afterwards. The hospital notified ABCD (Dr. Steven Fischer this time) that our daughter had been born and scheduled his visit to examine her. Within minutes of seeing her, he asked us if anyone had checked her collar bone as it appeared to be broken. He was right; the x-ray showed the bone was clearly broken. We were shocked as she had not cried or showed any other signs of discomfort. We have used ABCD for years and have always received the best care...from office staff to the docs. If you are looking for a great pediatrician in San Antonio, please meet with the folks at ABCD Pediatrics. You will be glad you did! read more
