Got a new dryer in less than 24hrs at a decent price. The old dryer was taken away and the new one installed the next day by the ABC independent contractor. To note, I thought the installation of the new dryer was included with the purchase price but it wasn't. I had to pay the independent contractor of ABC Warehouse another fee for the installation that I thought was already included. Moe made it sound like it was all included, but it was not. Not a big deal, but still. Make sure to check everything when you purchase to see what is and isn't included! read more

The ABC warehouse in Southgate has very poor customer service. We purchased a new GE Washer & Dyer on 6-25-2024, on July 10, 2024 the dryer started making a squealing sound. I contacted the store and was told it had to be serviced, they would NOT replace the unit. They could not service the unit until July 18, 2024. Then was told service could not be completed till July 24, 2024. All unacceptable on a new item less than 30 days old. I would NOT recommend ABC warehouse or GE appliances. Extremely poor customer service. They quick to take your money, then will not service or take of the products they sell. We were lied to by the store, they said a new replacement would be delivered on 7/16/2024. Now they say they do not have one. Should be delivered on 7/17/2024. I'll never return to ABC warehouse again. Moe was the pushiest sales person I've ever dealt with. He only cared about making a sale, not about the customer. He kept talking to me like I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about and would only address my family member. we told him from the beginning we were just looking and would not get anything today but he didn't care. Moe was also extremely rude. he had his sticky notes and I looked at it and said that isn't a good price and he just looks at me and says stop and walks away to his computer. I was done after that. we told him we are going to consider and we're going to leave and he wouldn't have that. the second he finally realized he wasn't getting a sale today he shut down and became even more rude. he wouldn't give us a card or even look us in the eye. such a horrible experience. read more

I went to ABC Warehouse after a bad experience with Home Depot (see the Woodhaven review) went horribly wrong. A slick talking saleperson named Moe Fardous GUARANTEED ME that I would have a Whirlpool washer AND dryer installed by Tuesday, no charge for installation. All I have to do is disconnect the dryer and everything will be great!!. "No worries!" he claims. Everything will be great! On Tuesday I get a call from the installer who says he has 2 DRYERS for me and wants to know if this is correct. Obviously not. So I called the manager, John, who saw what happened and said, on 2 separate calls, that everything is taken care of and to call the "Main Boss" named Tony tomorrow and report Moe. So this morning I got a call from ABC and the delivery of the appliances was on the truck. When they came, they unboxed the appliances and removed the old units. Great!! I gave these young men $20 to get some lunch and they said that the installer was usually right behind them. At 2PM I called over to get a status, since this was my 3rd day off work without pay to have appliances installed (Home Depot was the 1st. I spoke to John, the manager, again and he said the delivery people were supposed to install the washer and that he could get someone here tomorrow!!! He puts me through to Moe who says, and I quote, "It is going to cost you an extra $100 to install the gas dryer." Obviously, I lost my marbles. The lesson here is when you go and trust a company to do their job, even at its bare minimum, you simply can't anymore. In the original conversation with John the Sales Manager yesterday we even discussed how bad customer service is these days. "Can't even get correct change from McDonalds anymore." he says. Obviously this is a buyer beware situation, and its up to you to decide. But my best bet going forward is to go to a small, mom and pop store. At least they still take pride in their profession. My wife and I purchased a GE refrigerator for $ 1823 from the Southgate store. The delivery guys were very polite but had an issue with getting the old fridge out of the kitchen door. Ultimately it was a plate on the back of the fridge that needed to be removed. They were telling me I needed to remove the door frame on my house. I asked them multiple times about just removing the plate on the back of the fridge which they said they cannot. After they left, it took me 1 minutes to find the tools I needed, remove the plate, and move the fridge by myself out of the kitchen. I called our sales person for the guys to return but he said it was too late and it will be at least 1 or 2 days before they can return. Now I stuck with the old fridge in my living room and I am angry. I feel that ABC warehouse has treated me very wrong and I feel ripped off. Ironically, I am almost certain we bought the old fridge from ABC warehouse 10 years ago and they got it through the same doors. I am not sure if you know how this feels to be treated this way. A day that should be exciting and you end up with a mess for something that would have taken an extra few minutes. read more

i have had the worst experience in the world with ABC warehouse store #10 in Southgate, my wife and i went to purchase a refrigerator from this store and we were dealing with mohamad fardous. he promised that the delivery would be next day (today) and that the delivery men would call. long story short they did not call and left a note on the door, when i call mohamad to inquire about the delivery and why the deliver men did not call, he promptly got mad and started insulting me and told me he was going to cancel my order and for me never to call his store again and take my business else where. i went to the store and spoke to a so-called manager who just returned my money and did not explain why i was treated badly and wanted me to shake hands with the so called salesman, i refused and told them that i would mak sure that the corporate office knows how i was treated. so i would not do business with this store until they get some real professionals and not mental patients to work there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Worst People I bought a Refrigerator from this place. They were supposed to deliver it and install it, instead the delivery guys brought it to my house and left it in my garage saying it would not go through my door and they need extra hands or something( I wasn't home when they brought it,my wife didn't know what to do) and they left it in my garage and left. After that I called them back and the ABC warehouse manger Chad told us they gonna come next day but that didn't happen. We kept making appointments after appointments but nobody would show up. After third time I had enough and asked them to take it back and refund my money. They came the same day to pick up the freezer but they charged almost 200 dollars for restocking fees or something. How stupid .. felt like a scam of some kind. I went to Lowe's couple days after and I bought exact same kind of freezer and they delivered without a problem. I'm not the kind of guy who goes out there to write reviews but stay away from ABC warehouse. read more

We will never purchase anything from ABC Warehouse again! Bought a GE Refrigerator from them and it turned out to be a true lemon. We have had nothing but trouble since we made our purchase. Spent close to 3,000 dollars. As soon as you make a purchase from ABC Warehouse that's it. You now have to go thru the manufacturer direct. GE is good about their service but it takes forever to get the problems taken care of if ever. The Cafe doesn't work, ice cubes freeze together, refrigerator has a big bubble on the left side and condensation forms on the left side and runs down the side of the refrigerator. We can't level the refrigerator because it's impossible to level the back rollers. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

I went into the southgate location for a fridge and a stove. Service was Horrible. I was told a day of delivery for my fridge I took the day off of work and nothing was delivered. I called and all they could say was we changed date of delivery and when I asked with who's permission they couldn't tell me. So I was told at the store that my stove would be delivered on the 16 and when I call today to confirm these mofos tell me they will try for the 17. WTF?? I would never buy anything from this place nor do I recommend it. read more

The worst experience ever!!! Poor customer service! Bought a 75" TV, 1st one got installed; when we turned the TV on there were lines through it. Call to let the salesperson know and they immediately had a 3rd party deliver a 2nd TV, same installers put the TV up. (again, a 75 " TV on the wall) TV seemed to work fine the day it was installed. I don't have cable in this particular room area, so we haven't had a need to watch the TV yet, with no service. Turn the TV on a week later because the cable box has been delivered. Guess what.... more lines in the TV. Called Eric Mullin, the salesperson, to let him know yet again there was a problem. Now I'm told I broke the TV! REALLY!!! Everyone is playing the blame game. Telling me my warranty is null and void. And I have yet to speak with any managers, because there supposedly isn't one working. WOW ABC!! You've really done it this time. I wouldn't dare walk foot in one of your stores if my life depended on it. So you expect me to spend $2000, in cash, on a TV that's broken, and give me the run around. I've bought a tv four years ago here. Customer service is above 100% it's almost as if these people love work. Went in today to buy a tv and a lady my moms age * late 40's* blew my mind with her knowledge of tv's. I'm a bit of a geek n know a lot about tv's cuz I don't wanna be fooled. N this lady picked out theee tv for me. N there was like 100 on display. Above grade A with this place. They don't bug you. They don't rush you and they listen to your needs and don't try to sell you something you don't need. The sales staff is very patient. I'm pretty sure they are on commission. While helping my sister they sales guy was climbing up behind the various tvs to plug in different soundbars to different model TVs to help us find the best sounding combination. It would have been helpful if they had more vocal tracks or consistent demo streams across the store to compare. The salesman was really tolerant, the store was dead maybe that helped, but it took my sister 3+ hours to finally make a decision. We discovered that price on TVs and soundbars is negotiable. Their delivery price was pretty cheap too compared to other stores. Found the soundbar on sale today and after showing receipt to store (purchase 4 days ago), they agreed to send check (??) for difference. Other stores usually credit your credit card right away but they are sending a check? This is stupid if you ask me since they have to pay the cc company a percentage on the total charged amount. (lost a star for this) We'll see how long now it takes for a check to arrive. read more

My husband and I went in to purchase a space heater, and the salesman was nice and knowledgeable. Therefore, we went to the TV section to purchase one for our new home. It was 4 salesclerks sitting on the sofa and bed watching sports on TV. No one acknowledged us, we were in that section for about 10 minutes. We went to the manager who saw them sitting there and said nothing. We asked if the salesman who sold us our space heater could get the commission for a TV, he said no, its not his department!
