They have horrible attitudes here, guy that works here in particular has horrible customer service. they told us we would wait 1 day for a new screen, we had to call them to get an update and didn't get the screen untill 4 days later. my boyfriend had gotten his phone fixed here 3 times. he just got it fixed 4 days ago, and it got damaged again. went inside to see what they could do and when he asked how long it would be the man working said it would take about 4 hours. boyfriend politely asked for phone back, as we don't have time for that at the moment. he was not rude in the slightest. man working started getting upset at him saying " your calling me slow your being so impatient idk why your pissed" and so on. nobody was pissed, besides the worker because he simply wanted his phone back? the only response needed was "here's your phone back sir have a nice day" being extremely rude to repeat customers is not the way to run your business, but the way to lose a loyal customer. read more

if I could give this shop less than one stars I would. I dropped off my IPhone X which had a faulty screen that became unusable. the quote was almost $500 from apple so the $200 quote from this shop sounded great and according to reviews the show was good right? wrong. After a month the screen without any cracks or being dropped glitched out and would not turn on. I went back to the shop because I assumed that the screen was just faulty. The tech told me that it was my fault and that there was no way it was his fault or a faulty screen and that he would have to charge me for a new screen again. So desperate to get my phone working I paid another $200 for a screen and bought a new otterbox case and screen protector to make sure that I wouldn't damage the screen again. Well here I am 2 months later with the same problem. no cracks, no scratches, no drops. just a broken screen. Onto the second problem with this shop. The first red flag I should have been concerned about walking in is that you get a $5 discount if you can show them that you wrote a 5 star review. This is highly unprofessional and possibly illegal to pay for reviews. The business is practically a scam and I would recommend any other shop or even a friend who thinks they can fix your device before coming here. read more

Good but not great. Their fantastic reviews are a little misleading. They are pretty good at fixing devices......but if you already know how little the replacement glass costs(12-15$ Amazon), Device Dope is a slap in the face! The guy lies to my face about how expensive the tools are.....when I know for a fact they come FREE with the replacement glass, when you order online. Truth of the matter is every set comes with the tools you need to replace it. pshhhh, what an insult from a condescending punk kid. And contrary to previous reviews they do not offer deals for multiple devices. The guy acted like I was wasting his time for asking! Pros: They fix the screen to your device promptly. Cons: I felt rushed out of the store. I felt that my inquiries were unimportant. I felt like a number not a paying customer. I felt my intelligence was insulted. The two workers looked like junkies. I should have done several reviews considering how many times Device Drop, Dave, has repaired my tablets and personal iPhone. He took the time to show me what and why his repairs were better than the standard repair hack suddenly popping up everywhere. Less expensive and more experience ... I will always go back. read more

I just picked up my iPad 4 today after having its glass replaced. When I broke it, I managed to sever the tiny connector that runs to the Home button; Dave discovered the issue only upon removing the broken glass, then went ahead and repaired that as well, including it in the original labor quote provided. Device Drop's pricing is definitely fair, totalling less than other repair shops but not so much cheaper as to cause worry about receiving shoddy replacement components. The only reason I went without my device for a week is because *MY* schedule prevented my returning any sooner - no loss of stars for that. Not hoping for additional shattered glass in the future, but if it happens I know where I'll go! read more

Service was very fast and friendly! I went in to get my iPhone 6s cracked screen fixed. Employee was knowledgeable and understood my worry for my home button being messed up because I have heard horror stories from my friends and assured me nothing would happen. Had some computer problems. Another computer shop said they'd charge $45 for a "diagnostic" of the problem. Dave said, "if I can't fix it, I won't charge you." I went in, and he fixed it! And it cost me nearly the same as just the "diagnostic" would have at the other place. I'll definitely return for any future tech problems I have. read more

My MacBook Air had an encounter with a glass of Cabernet Sauvingon, and Device Drop did yeoman service trying to save it. They cleaned it up and prepared it for sale on eBay as salvage for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended! read more

Drove here immediately after having issues with the iGeek southgate location. I had the lcd display replaced monday morning at 14k pawn since the iGeek southgate location merged with it. Immediately after the screen change I the vibrate option on my phone stopped working and they refused to work on it or even look at it again without charging me a ton. So I was upset and drove past Device Drop and decided why not. Dave was polite and fast and told me the shotty screen installation blocked the vibration motor from working. He also fixed a couple other things on my phone and the best part about it was the price. It was half the price of the iGeek and the Metro detroit phone repair in Trenton. It was half the price, twice as fast, great customer service. I am all about it. read more

Previously in the past their service has been superb, however the last time I went there my laptop was returned in a very macabre state leaving me worried whether they actually fixed the issue. Also they were somehow able to uninstall the driver for my track pad even though my issue was hardware related. read more

I took my phone to Device Drop for repair based on the great reviews online and I am glad I did. Dave was very helpful, friendly and patient with my lack of technical knowledge. My phone was unrepairable due to a board failure. Dave was able to copy my precious pictures to DVD, which was my main concern.
