We bought 2 stainless steel Frigidaire refrigerators from abc wearhouse w year ago. One if them makes a high pitch humming noise it's obnoxious and it also is getting rust on the front. It's not even hooked to water... these are both 1,300 plus dollars and just 1 year old. Very unsatisfied. Also bought a microwave and it's 8 months and the screen flashes in and out. Never again abc wear house. Discounts mean nothing when the products are junk. Get better quality control. ​ read more

DO NOT BUY AND INSTALL A CAR STARTER FROM ABC!! Over time they damage your car and it is pricy to fix!!!Multiple mechanics looked at my car and told me the car started was the cause of my Body Control Module needing to be replaced and now my car won't even start. When I notified ABC they said it was impossible and said the expert mechanics were wrong and denied all culpability even tho they didn't see my car and are not mechanics. I explained my situation, and within 45 minutes i was out the door with what i needed at a good price. I went here on a recommendation to get my girlfriend a remote car starter for her jeep. In this cold weather its nice having a warm vehicle for our son. Upon entry you are greated by several salesman at the door. My recommendation to you is don't go there just to browse otherwise you'll be hounded by these guys trying to get your business. Luckily I knew what I wanted and they left me alone. This is my only problem with places like this. Most of the time when people shop they just want to browse and not be bothered by salesmen. I noticed a customer saying she was just browsing and a few minutes later a different salesmen asked if she need help. Annoying! However, my experience was a good one. I walked in, was greeted by a salesmen and asked if I needed help. I saw the big sign in the back of the store that said "remote starters sold here" and I told the salesmen I'm here for a remote starter and walked away. Jeremy (I think was his name) helped me out big time. I told him what I wanted and he knew exactly what I needed for my vehicle. He didn't push the expensive brands on me, but gave me the bad news up front where there would be. Our jeep has one of those keys that has everything built into it.....chip....door unlocks.....hatch unlock....alarm. He knew up front that our jeep needed an $80 part to bypass Jeep's programming in these keys and he told me that's a good price. (I checked....they're $120 online). He said I could save $30 if I had 2x keys so they could program the remote starter off of them. Jeremy said it would take 2-3 hours to install. Ours took about 4-5 because we had to wait in line. The installer felt bad for how long it took and programmed some extras into our remote (door unlock, hatch unlock.....typically you pay extra for these to be programmed into your keys). Upon pick up Jeremy walked us outside to where the jeep was and walked us through the steps. Everything was fairly straight forward and we haven't had a problem since! Oh and those that are worried about the installer. They guy has been doing it for 12 years so hopefully that'll give you some peace of mind. I bought a 2 year warranty for $30 just in case. Just left ABC Warehouse. I went in to ask about how to install an optional part on my microwave. The "big" guy that attempted to help me was obsessed with the fact that I bought the appliance in November. I said, OK, but I need help with this part. We were standing in front of a similar microwave that had the part in the package. I told him I did not know how to install it. He said, you bought it in November. And then proceeded to slam the door shut on the unit and tell me to call GE. So, I did. It took me less time for them to tell me how to install it than it took for me to drive over and be harassed by the "big" guy. This is really unfortunate, as I have bought all my appliances for 2 houses from ABC. Doesn't look like they will get a shot at the next house! read more

I had a very bad experience trying to buy an electric range at ABC warehouse. I had called the day before and talked to a young lady (Al- Alexandria) about buying a range. I asked about one in particular and she gave me a price and said that it could be in from the warehouse in 2 days. I asked her about credit card payments over the phone. She told me that they could not do that but someone could give them my credit card payment in person when they purchased the range. She also told me that they had numerous models in stock. My son was travelling from my home town about an hour and 15 min, south, through this town, Mt. Pleasant, MI and I was going to have him pick it up and install it in our cottage which is about 40 minutes North of there. I asked Al if my son could give them my credit card number in person or if he needed to bring the actual credit card with him. She specifically told me that the number would be sufficient and that if anyone asked about the nature of the transaction, to talk to her. So, we made arrangements at home to take care of my son's baby (I also take care of my wife who is in a wheelchair) while he drove the 65 miles to get the range and install it. Well you guessed it! When my son got to the store they refused to take the credit card number. I was talking on the phone to my son and another store associate who gave me the "store policy" that was totally different from what Al had told me. I told them to ask Al because she had told me that she would verify it. The associate told me that Al was a new employee and that she may have been confused. I asked to talk to the manager (Jen) who was very rude and uncooperative. She would interrupt me when I would try to explain the situation and even started talking to another employee in the middle of one of her own sentences, totally confusing me as to what she was talking about. She said that she had talked to Al and that Al had said that she did not tell me that. I asked to talk to Al to try to get her to tell the truth and not waste our time and 65 mile trip with a Tahoe pulling a trailer. The manager would not let me talk to Al, which makes me very suspicious as to why. Did she even talk to her? Did Al tell her the truth and the manager just didn't want to take the credit card payment? Did Al just turn to jelly and not want to fess up because of fear of losing her job? I asked if they would reimburse me for gas and time (which I really didn't want anyway- I just wanted to buy the range). The manager just said that my suggestion of reimbursement for gas and time was ridiculous. I also asked about just a gas reimbursement. (I guess that the expectation is that the potential customer is expected to pay for mistakes made by ABC warehouse employees and that it would be ridiculous to expect otherwise. We really needed this range because we were having guests coming in to the cottage and they needed the range. We had donated a week at the cottage as part of a fundraiser for "Respite Care". We were stuck. In the end my son took all of the money he had and money that I had given him to pay a neighbor for work that he had done and bought the range. Could I ever recommend this establishment to anyone else? In the words of the manager- "That would be ridiculous". read more

Terrible job-- had a new sirius radio to put in-- they charged me $80 and when I left it had a scratchy sound and picked up different stations as I drove to work. Went back -- they said there were 2 wires I needed to buy extra to properly wire it-- wires were an additional $140. Should have told me this initially-- I was afraid to let them do any more work and took radio back-- still no radio and I'm out $80. Bought my flatscreen here almost five years ago with great service and a great warranty. Went in last Sunday looking for a new dish washer, and couldn't get service at all. There were two salesmen helping customers, and a lady on the phone answering questions. There were also four salesmen and a manager sitting on a couch watching the Seattle football game, while my fiance and myself, along with a family and another couple waited to be helped. I was in there for 25 minutes, cash in my pocket, and never had anybody offer to help. I got fed up, drove up the road to Sears, and got awesome service, even though they had more customers with fewer workers. The only reason I'm giving two stars, is the great service I received five years ago, but it wasn't worth one star now. read more
