If he had removed fat from my back I would have seen some bruising or in pain. I felt and had nothing!! On the second time he did it. He still didn't REMOVE FAT FROM MY BACK THAT HE DID CHARGE ME FOR!! He did the transfer again only using fat from my abdominal. He left my stomach in zig zags and with bumps. I still to this day have my buttocks uneven. I'm still wearing my faja because I'm embarrased. The day of my second procedure. I waited in his lobby for 5 hours because he was still working on another patient. Who knows what that was about? . When he decided it was my turn. He was pissed off and was yelling at me and threw my chart on to the bed. After I waited for him for 5 hours! He only wanted to remove fat either from my lower or upper fat from my stomach!! Really!! OMG. The least you could've done Dr. Chambi was be professional!! Overall. I don't recommend Dr. Chambi. Yes, his prices are low but you get what you paid for. Fast forward 10 years and there I was again, back on the table for a consultation. I had gained some weight so my perfectly good C's back then were now lookin like A's. (& we can't have that! haha) So we talked about going a bit bigger and I also asked him about maybe getting a little liposuction in my tummy area since I had gained a little too much weight. We spoke about size options but then he said something that I will forever love him for... He told me to stand up, pinched my tummy in the areas I wanted a little help on and said "You don't need lipo, just do some sit-ups." I'm sure there are plenty of Dr's out there that would have loved to take my money. But not him. He is the real deal! Now here I am almost 20 years later since my first appointment writing this in hopes that this helps someone, anyone make the best decision like I did. Please if you have any doubts, DON'T! On one occasion, I received multiple phone calls in the same day asking why I had scheduled an appointment before my ultrasound was completed. I repeatedly explained that the appointment was to discuss the results of a previous ultrasound, which had already been completed and was in my chart. Despite explaining this several times, they continued to question me. The final issue that led me to cancel my care was when I was scheduled for an endoscopy. No one contacted me beforehand to explain what my out-of-pocket cost would be. Since my procedure was the next day, I called the office because I didn't want to be surprised by a large bill. I spoke with Maggie, and the interaction was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening to my concerns, she repeatedly talked over me while I was simply trying to understand why the office couldn't provide an estimate after obtaining the insurance authorization. It felt like the office was focused on getting paid by the insurance company but not on making sure patients understood their financial responsibility ahead of time. Instead of helping, Maggie told me to call my insurance company or the surgery center myself. I explained that I didn't understand why I had to make multiple phone calls when the procedure had been scheduled through their office. Even after I politely asked her to let me finish speaking, she continued interrupting me and eventually hung up on me. I have worked in customer service for many years, and throughout the conversation I remained respectful. There was nothing that justified ending the call that way. As a result of this experience, I canceled my procedure and will be finding another gastroenterologist. The physician may be excellent, but the office staff's communication, professionalism, and customer service need significant improvement. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.
