I called before going to The Tile Shop in Naperville Il to ask a question. The man who answered…read moresounded like he didn't want to be bothered. He seemed almost as if he was angered by having to answer the phone. Very unfriendly. I thought e might just be having a bad day and couldn't hide it from customers. Even so, I headed out to the store. After going up and down the aisles looking for what I needed for some time without anyone offering to help, I found myself in an aisle and looked up to see an employee just standing there staring at me without offering to help and with an unfriendly look.on his face making me assume that he was the same man I talked to on the phone. He didn't ask if needed help. He just stood there. So I told him what I was looking for and, without saying a word he walked to the end of an aisle and, again not saying a word, was apparently indicating what I was looking for was in that aisle but he just walked away without saying a word. It turned out that what I was looking for was not in that aisle so I just left and will not be returning to that store. The man was a tall man, probably in his 50s. It appears that he probably is in the wrong business and probably shouldn't be dealing with customers. If he was just having a bad day he clearly hasn't learned to not take it out on customers.

My first time coming into this store. I'm always in this area but never really had the time to stop…read moreand look around. I finally got my chance to step inside of Kirkland's. This store smelled so good with nice music playing. There were so many cute and nice things to purchase from furniture, home décor, painting, candles the list goes on. The prices weren't too bad. The only negative thing is that the workers were all behind the counter. Never said a word to any of their customers. Just standing there chatter boxing away with each other. It's such a surprise that not one of them would greet or come out on the floor to assist customers. It wasn't like there were 2 or 3 customers in the store that Friday Evening. There were a decent amount of people shopping that night. I would come back only because there are so many cute things to purchase.

I recently purchased a set of six wooden chargers to put underneath my ceramic plates on my dining…read moretable. After dusting in the first week I noticed saw dust underneath one of the chargers but thought nothing of it. The following week while dusting again I noticed sawdust yet again under two or three of the chargers. After careful inspection I noticed a couple of bugs crawling on the wooden chargers. I did some research and to my disgust, found out they were TERMITES! I immediately removed them from my house and called the store. The manager on the phone was very helpful and encouraged me to bring them in right away for a refund. When I arrived she was not in, but the associate refunded my purchase price with a gift card. They did not seemed concerned that the product I returned has termites and could transfer to other products in the store. I wrote to customer service and after explaining, was offered a gift card. I received the gift card yesterday for $20! This is not even enough to cover 1 new wooden charger & barely the gas spent to drive back and forth to return them. I'm insulted! I expected much more from Kirkland's. I encourage others NOT to purchase products without careful inspection! I will not be returning to this store. I have a complaint on file with the corporate office and have remediated my house to deter an infestation. We have been advised by the exterminator to carefully watch for signs on our wooden table and floors that could have possibly been infected.

She has excellent communication follow up and really helped us to get what we were looking for in a floor. Ann has tons of experience to share and definitely worth the drive to their show room. If you have the opportunity to pick the install team, I can't recommend Angel enough! He was our install lead and did above and beyond in my opinion for an install. He ensured the team did top notch clean up every night and put as much of the house back to normal each night to ensure it was livable. Angel even mocked up suggestions for us to pick for transitions and had excellent ideas from his 20 years of experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this company and will only work with them moving forward for flooring needs.

Although I primarily dealt with Tina I also had the assistance and guidance from another awesome lady who was very helpful and went above and beyond to help ensure that we picked out granite that would be a perfect fit for our kitchen remodel. Our countertops are absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier!! I was even able to get a window sill made out of the same stone used for my countertops which totally brings everything together. The staff at Midwest Stone are great and a pleasure to work with. They very responsive and passionate about what they do. I highly recommend Midwest Stone! If you're looking to remodel a room in your house and looking for beautiful granite and a great selection to choose from look no further than Midwest Stone. Thank you Midwest Stone for making my dreams come true. Kim

I have purchased granite, marble and quartz tops for kitchens, baths and bar areas. Moved from the…read moreNW suburbs so I thought I'd give the job of my new countertop, sink and backsplash to someone local. Gave rough estimates to Kasia, we selected a quartz and waited to have the final measurements done prior to fabrication. No calls, no information we called several times the day before to be told we never confirmed after they left messages. Now we're pushed back a week. We confirmed that we will be home all day, however, again no one shows up! Another week goes by, we call the day before, and that morning and yes, we're on the schedule. They measure, and we'll have new cabinets the following week. Nope no install no calls, only after I call to find out that the piece we selected was too small. When I asked for my money back, because you have to pay in full to get on the schedule, that they don't do any returns but would consider it but it would cost me $250. At this point we decided they already have our money, so we go to select a granite, which Kasia says is cheaper, but still costs us another $100. The cut the piece, come out to install it, (3 weeks later) and on May 10th we get our cabinets delivered and installed. They look gorgeous, however when they measured the back splash flush against our in wall mirrored medicine cabinet so there isn't enough room for anyone to put their hand between the backsplash and the cabinets to open the doors. We call Kasia again to be told that for them to come out remove the piece would be $500 but if my husband removes it, delivers to them they would have it done in 1 day no charge. That was 3 days ago, and it's still not done. I'm even concerned about posting this until I have the backsplash returned, which we have to pick up and install ourselves, at risk of having our backsplash held hostage. I'm only posting so I can possibly help 1 person from making an error in purchasing from them.
