I would NEVER do business with this company again…read more Our experience has been one excuse, delay, and disappointment after another. We first purchased pavers from them. On the day they were supposed to be delivered, the company didn't have enough trucks to deliver all of our pallets. We actually had to hire our own truck to pick up the remaining pallets. They acknowledged the problem and gave us a credit--but we still have never received the reimbursement check. Unfortunately, that was nothing compared with what happened with our flagstone order. We were extending an existing patio and needed Utah Sunrise flagstone that would match the brown tones of the stone already installed. Their salesman, Danny, CAME TO OUR HOME and personally looked at our existing patio. He knew exactly what we were trying to match. Danny told us they had the stone at their Oxnard shop and asked us to come look at it. We drove all the way to Oxnard, selected the stone, and ordered 185 precut pieces. Most importantly, Danny GAVE US A SAMPLE TO TAKE HOME so we could put it next to our existing patio and make sure the color matched. It matched beautifully, so we placed the order and PAID $27,189. ON MAY 5, 2026. We were told delivery would take 4-6 weeks. Six weeks came and went. I started calling Danny and repeatedly got some version of "I'll get back to you." After approximately TWO WEEKS of chasing him for an answer, I finally called the owner. That's when I was told that the person they had paid to place our order had taken their deposit and disappeared--and WE would now have to get back in line and wait ANOTHER 4-6 WEEKS. So we waited again. After another six weeks, I started calling again. We were told the stone should arrive within about a week. More time passed. While we were finally away on vacation, they sent me a photograph of the stone. I immediately told Danny that it looked WHITE, not brown. He assured me that what I was seeing was just "dust and sunlight." It wasn't. When we returned home, we discovered that the stone was overwhelmingly white--probably 90% white. It looks more like pieces of cut concrete than the warm brown stone we were shown. Then came the final insult: when we complained, we were told that it was the correct stone and there were NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS. Absolutely unacceptable. This isn't a case of a customer changing her mind about a natural stone product. Their salesman came to our home, SAW THE PATIO WE WERE MATCHING, had us drive to Oxnard to inspect the stone, and then GAVE US A SAMPLE TO TAKE HOME AND APPROVE. The delivered material does not reasonably resemble that sample. Had they handed us a sample that looked like what was eventually delivered, WE NEVER WOULD HAVE ORDERED IT. After roughly FOUR MONTHS of delays, excuses, unanswered questions, and chasing people for information, we ended up with 185 precut pieces of stone that don't look like what we selected--and the company's response is essentially that it's our problem. And let's not forget that we're STILL waiting for the reimbursement from the earlier delivery problem. A good company is not defined by whether something occasionally goes wrong. It's defined by how it treats its customers when something DOES go wrong. In our experience, this company has failed at every opportunity to make things right. If you're considering buying from this company, I strongly recommend that you think very carefully before paying them. Photograph your samples, get every representation in writing, keep every text and receipt, and don't assume that the material you approve is necessarily what you'll ultimately receive. I regret doing business with them and would not recommend them to anyone.

When I checked out their slabs, I was amazed at the selection. My sales person was Sam and he couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I bought 2 slabs. Sam and Ken (the owner), came out to do the measuring. Jose did the fabrication. He did such a beautiful job. They did a single piece back splash that is really gorgeous. Installing the backsplash.Island and multiple vanities, was labor intensive. The crew was very professional and would do extra little detailing that made it so nice. They now have a storefront in SLO across from Haywards that just opened. Couldn't wait to write this review

I have been dreaming of working with Natural Stone Source for quite some time. When they were…read morelocated on Frontage Rd in Nipomo, we would regularly walk our dogs past their store and dream about one day being able to redo our own kitchen with beautiful stone from their store. Fast-forward a few years and their new location in Santa Maria has MORE slabs and is now conveniently located right around the corner from our house! We recently committed to doing our kitchen and it was a no brainer who we were buying our slabs from. We went to the grand opening celebration for their new Santa Maria location and Caryn, our salesperson, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She never once pressured us to make a decision and was extremely easy going. Their selection of products is incredible, and the way it's laid out in the store makes it very easy to shop and compare. They carry porcelain, marble, granite, quartz, quartzite, and much more. They also offer sinks, backsplash options, and work with local appliance companies, so it can really be a one-stop-shop for most of your remodeling needs. We originally thought we'd go with porcelain, but kept looking and circled back multiple times to an incredibly beautiful slab of Sea Pearl Quartzite. Because the natural stone slabs are all unique, we made our purchase that night so we'd not lose out on this perfect stone. We ordered two slabs and they stored them until we were ready for templating & install. Once we were ready for the countertops, we put our deposit down for installation, and set a date with Mike for template and install. When the crew came to template the kitchen, the lead, David, took dimensions and made a template of our kitchen and backsplash. He took his time making sure everything was measured correctly and if there were any design details he asked us what our thoughts were and would note the change. The templates were given to John, a master at cutting stone, who finished our countertops and backsplash in two days, way ahead of our scheduled install date, which means we're that much closer to having a working kitchen again. We decided not to choose the layout of the template and gave John total creative freedom, and we're glad we did. Install day was like Christmas morning, and after seeing the layout John decided on, we were floored. All of the pieces came together perfect and he was able to book match all the mitered edges, and there appears to be no seams even though they were cut and glued together. The grain pattern everywhere is gorgeous and well thought out! David, Alex and a few other guys were here for the install. I love that David was here for the install since he was the one to template and he knew exactly how things were supposed to be. They laid drop cloths across the house to protect our floors, and worked hard to keep dust to a minimum. The guys spent 7.5 hours installing our countertops and backsplash. They had to make some additional cuts on-site to ensure perfect fitment of the backsplash and some pieces that wrapped inside the window box. A few sections of stone weighed over 600lbs, but these guys made lifting the slabs into place look easy and were extremely careful when handling them so as to not damage anything. David is extremely meticulous and you'll find him constantly using a level and measuring multiple times before making cuts, he also looks at things from different angles to make sure it all looks correct. I appreciate his perfectionism and his work is reflective in his attention to detail. I am EXTREMELY picky and notice little things and his work is FLAWLESS! I'm telling you, he's the guy you want installing your countertops! When it was all done, the guys cleaned everything up and vacuumed the areas of the house they worked in, very professional and courteous. I couldn't be happier with our decision to use Natural Stone Source for our kitchen countertops and backsplash!! They are the best choice on the central coast for all of your natural stone needs!! I will post before and after pics once our kitchen is completed.

Fast forward to 2026 and not only was Suzanne able to help us again, she searched for the stone we originally liked, finding it in Bakersfield. Within the week our two precious slabs were sent to Arroyo Grande, awaiting a fabricator. Interestingly, Suzanne gave us the same fabricator's business card she had given us five years earlier! We called Augie from Quality Stoneworks and set up an appointment for estimation. He kept his appointment, listened to what we wanted, asked very appropriate questions and got us in his schedule. Today, the countertops were installed and Augie and his crew worked hard ALL day long. The crew was respectful of our property, answered questions as they arose and didn't mind us "watching over their shoulders." We know where seams in the granite countertops are located, but I don't think you'd ever find them. The meticulously matched backsplashes and countertop edges speak to the absolute perfection Augie demands. They transformed our kitchen and bathroom and we haven't even painted yet! I knew we liked this granite five years ago, but this fabricated and installed granite is absolutely unbelievable - thank you again Augie and crew, thank you Suzanne for sending us Augie's direction! What a great team start to finish - they need ten stars!
