They have a wonderful selection of granite and stone on property displayed in a way where you can easily view each piece. If they don't have exactly what you want onsite, they will locate it at one of their other locations and have it brought in for you. Suzanne and her staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and always "go the extra mile" to ensure you get exactly what you want. We relied on them heavily during a large remodel project that required 7 slabs of a particular type of granite and we couldn't have successfully finished our project without them. Super-nice service, but you can have a big problem with fabrication. They have a wide selection of fairly price stone... but do not do fabrication... so you need to find one....& I would recommend using someone that you find...not them. They do not sell remnants, but have plenty of choices both in the store & in their backyard. It is conveniently just off the 101 in Arroyo Grande. Worth checking out for your major projects. Jesus is a great resource on local stone & kindly referred me to the Guadalupe Granite Shop for my remnant hunt. Unfortunately, I had less than a stellar experience with one of their fabricators, who never got back to me with a quote. PSS maintains that they are not responsible for the independent fabricators...but do state that they are very reliable. Not the ones that I had dealings with. I would recommend that you take your business to a place where they do both. What good is an expensive slab of stone, when you have to deal with the BS of dealing with unreliable unprofessional fabricators.... who are also likely not to have insurance, nor are bonded, nor have references. Going directly to one of their fabricators to try to get a deal on fabricating of some of their remnants back-fired & it only turned out to be more of a "bait & switch". If I wanted to be charged up to about $60 a square foot, I could go anywhere. After I left a message to that effect & that I would get other quotes, I never heard from those fabricators again. They wanted anywhere from $2-3,000 for two simple bathroom countertops, made out of remnants in their yard of dirt. I did see Jesus helping to unload a few slabs for these guys to fabricate, and I took that as a hopeful sign....but alas, it was not. read more

We are in the process of selecting surfaces for a new build and were referred to Pacific Shore. Suzanne patiently listened to our "wish list" and guided us to the right place in the showroom. They carry a large selection of natural stone and man made product. We had plenty of time to look, with Suzanne checking on us every so often. This was my second visit to this store. After checking some other places I was back. The selection here is really great and both times I was helped by Suzanne who seems to have a good sense of style as to what textures and colors compliment each other. They didn't do the installation themselves but were able to refer me to another person to get that taken care of as well. It was so nice to be able to pick out the actual materials that were used in my kitchen rather than just going off of a display. If I ever need stone again I will definitely be back. I have a few quotes from local businesses to redo my kitchen and bathroom counter tops and made a very quick stop here to see their selection and get a quote. I walked out after the woman working asked me three times what I was looking for because she couldn't hear me from the back of the store where she was standing behind a counter. She then rudely said that she couldn't hear me because I was talking too quietly and she's the only person working there so it's "not like I can leave this desk". I was the only customer in the shop on a Monday afternoon. I am truly sorry to have inconvenienced the sales associate for a potential quote. read more

He was very helpful and would take our input and give recommendations on those or other items we were picking out and finally decided on the mysterio quartz. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and our contractor recommended Pacific Shore Stones. Am I glad he did! The whole process was a very nice experience from start to finish. When we entered, we were greeted by Suzanne with a friendly smile and she took her time to show us the large selection of materials and slabs. While we walked outside, we were then greeted by Nathan who proceeded to tell us about each slab that my wife had questions about. We walked through the whole place while my wife looked for the perfect slabs until she found them. Nathan then had another employee move the slabs so that she could pick the ones she wanted. This is the place to get your counter top material, they have it all. Marble, Granite, Quartzite, etc. They show that they care about the people visiting their showroom. Oh and Suzanne...she just happens to own the place...shows in her employees! read more

The sales associate she is talking about has a number of tattoos herself, and has never treated me or my hispanic family any differently than she does anyone else.
