I asked how much for all three boards and they quoted me $41. 61. I'm new to buying wood so I figured that was a normal price. I didn't check the receipt after I'd paid (my fault) and I went home happy and excited to make stuff. It wasn't until a few days later that I found my receipt and saw they'd charged me $416.14 for three boards. These prices are far above the national average for wood and they don't post prices at the rack. Had I bought these boards anywhere else I would have paid far less. An example, I paid $21.60 a linear foot for the walnut. That's about $32.40 a board foot. S2S online is $14.99 a board foot. I paid more than double to have two extra sides surfaces and sanded. My whole purchase should have costed less than $200. I can't speak for the rest of their merchandise, but if you're buying hardwood don't go here. Update: Brisco True Value in AG charges $11.99 a bd ft for walnut, $6.15 for maple, and $7.59 for cherry. My purchase there would have been approximately $171.53 before taxes and fees for the amount I purchased. I will be shopping there from now on.

They are just awesome to deal with. Their shop is extremely busy, but unlike the other glass shops in town (Valley Glass and Santa Maria Glass), they still accepted my small job. It took them a couple of days to make an appointment with me, but when they called me, Dan, the father, was very nice and professional, and was able to schedule me in within a week. After that my door arrived in another week! On the day the door was to be installed, they ran into a scheduling problem, and because I could not reschedule, they came anyway, after all of their other work was done, after hours. When they showed up, both father and son, I could tell they were pretty beat and frazzled, but they still tackled the job and finished in record time. They smiled easily, were extremely courteous, and worked quietly, neatly and speedily. There was no sign of them after they left, except for my beautiful shower door! This job was a bit of a challenge too, because my husband and I tiled the shower and the tiles weren't level; nor were the walls straight (we, being total amateurs). They had to adjust for all of that and you would never know, looking at the door. I recommend them without qualification. I have two other shower doors, several windows and a slider that we want to eventually replace. I definitely know who I'm going to call when the time comes!

I called Apex Auto Glass to describe my issues and they confirmed they did tint homes and made me an appt for an estimate, and worked with my crazy schedule without an issue! I was send confirmation and reminders leading up to the appt which was very helpful. I was also given a window for arrival time that was convenient and reasonable. Anthony called to say he would be arriving in 45 minutes and he was actually early!! (Love this so much) Prior to his arrival I had tried to peel off some of the film and removed TWO LAYERS OF TINT‍ and there was still more layers of tint completely covering the windows. Anthony assured me that removing the tint would be no problem. He was SO KNOWLEDGEABLE and helpful with the situation. We had VERY old auto tint on the windows. He walked me through my options after examining and measuring each window. I was worried and unsure, and so he left me with the two samples he saw working best for my situation-this way hubby could also weigh in when he was home. Anthony was polite, professional, and super nice!! We made the appt right there for removal and installation. As soon as Anthony arrived back to the office he mailed me the estimate, which was extremely reasonable!! Right before the appt I had some trepidation about my choices, and I called the office. Anthony and Angel arrived right on time, and got right to work. In a nutshell they rocked it!! These guys were amazing!! We learned Angel is the automotive tint expert and if I ever need my car tinted he is definitely my guy!! With Anthonys expertise and experience we were in SUCH GOOD HANDS!! The guys finished and cleaned up absolute every teeny piece of the crummy old tint. I was super impressed!! And it already felt cooler inside the house!! Previously with hot weather we would have the window blinds shut, heavy curtains closed, and the ac cranked. I can confidently say that with hot weather we don't have to close the house up like a tomb. We DON'T EVEN HAVE TO CLOSE THE BLINDS!! The difference is mind blowing!! We are already planning on doing this tint on windows in some other rooms. If you are looking for stellar service, professional work, and knowledgeable technicians, then look no further than Apex.
