September 4th, received an email advising the three items were backordered and the estimated ship date was now September 18th. September 8th, received a email confirming the September 18th shipping date. September 15th, received notification of order cancellation (Ordered number did not match original purchase order number. Reason given for cancellation "any orders of more than 30 days would results in a cancellation". Replied that it would not be 30 days until after the confirmed shipping date of September 18th, would they please reinstate the original order and ship as confirmed. Response "reorder via our website". September 15th, Contacted customer service/sales spoke with Jesse Hurt (ext 203) he confirmed the original order number and indicated shipping was still scheduled for the September 18th; he told me he would check into the conflicting information and call back on the 16th...more crickets. September, 16th & 17th, tried to call Jesse left several emails with no response. September 18th, had to order the three items from another source. Would have appreciated better communications and customer service. This entire process cost me one month and had to repeatedly reschedule my electrician. Max Tool this is no way to run a business. Well, he kept his promise and he did text me. His text stated he was "too busy" to make it to the appointment. Not surprising, he didn't offer alternate date and time. Here comes Alpha 1 Handyman. One thing I really appreciated was there flexibility, patience and options they offered. I spoke to Manny and he broke down the insurance claim report I had. He saw what the insurance company forgot to include. This in turned saved me money. At first, I only asked for a bid on the cabinets and had another contractor for flooring, but Manny's thoroughness made me select him for the whole job. The work took close to 2 months to complete and there's still some minor things that needs to be completed but overall I am extremely pleased with the work they have done. The overall length of the project was due to insurance delays as well as what is going on with the covid-19 virus. When they did start the work it roughly took 2 weeks. If you're ever in a situation with your home owners insurance, give Alpha 1 Handyman a call.
