I have given up on other rack companies and now strictly go to QMH. Tony at their place has been the most attentive, consistent, and awesome customer experience I can think of. Usually in industrial processes you always get a really dull or aggressive sales person but Tony goes above and beyond to help you. I honestly felt bad all the configurations I asked him about and if this then thats and he stuck through it multiple times for multiple buildings. He was always able to get the job absolutely perfect. Their work is amazing and you know it will be up to code to keep the city happy. They have loads of awesome options from new to used as well. When you are dealing with safety I would 100% suggest QMH as I have seen other rack companies work and it can be quite literally a death trap if there was an earthquake. QMH makes sure you are not only happy with the racks but safe for many years to come. Their install team is amazing and cleanly as well. As a past employee at QMH, I have to say it was a great place to work. They take pride in their employees and create a fun work environment. They provided thorough training and were always open to hear an employee out on new ideas. For a small company it was nice to have a inhouse HR department, which were very easy to talk to. I was privileged to work under Julia Pinto who was just an amazing boss and overall a great person. I did not know anyone prior to being hired at QMH, but they treat you like family. As a current employee of Quality Material Handling I am writing this review to state how happy I have been working for this company. I am going to be completing my 3 month probationary period in a couple of days and I personally enjoy the environment. We here at QMH love having fun in our work place but, what I love more is how hard every employee works to keep the fun going. The upper management have such great personality's and have the best management skills to get the job done correctly. From our Sales/Permit department to the Warehouse department are all great. We strive for great customer service day in and out. At QMH we are dedicated to the work we provide to our customers and any of their special requests. I'm a third time customer, and this very very bad experience threw me off their list. They have no regards of customer safety and would not admit their mistake. They treat customer like idiots and act like they're the boss. I've been buying columns and racks in the past to increase my warehouse capacity, and I only need 13 14ft columns to complete. On the date of delivery, they try to deliver 12ft columns while their invoice stated a 144in. I told the driver I ordered 14ft had him measured our columns to proof that I ordered 14ft; the driver called his boss, and they claimed I ordered a 12ft , they will not take returns because they claimed that I ordered the wrong item. I immediately drove to their office and show him the receipt, and they said will deliver the next wed. Unfortunately for me, they changed the schedule without notifying me for 2 times, and the 3rd time they're late. I called them directly and they told me the drive is on lunch and will deliver right away. And when it finally came, the columns that came to us were the "welded columns" 2ft welded onto the 12ft from before. What are they thinking!!!! The welded column cannot sustain the weight we put on; the standard 14ft column can sustain 4 tons while the welded columns take much less. I went back to the office and wanted to talk to the owner, and they claim that they only supply 12ft, and 16ft, and if I want to order 14ft, I have to pay more. BUT WHY DO I HAVE 14FT COLUMNS IN MY WAREHOUSE!!?????. I showed them the receipt again and they just want to charge me more. I asked to speak with the owner, but the man at the front desk told me that he's the boss. Right after, a woman inside came out and told me that she's the 'real' boss, then the situation got worse, she yelled at me for showing their mistakes and threatening me that they are going to call the police. I didn't back down from that because I got my evidence, and I don't think they would anyways. The 'real' boss insisted me to take the welded columns, which is very dangerous if someone do not know those are welded and have less weight tolerance. I know I can't use the welded column because of safety concerns, but their attitude and disregards for safety isn't what you want for a qualify material you paid for. Never buy from them again, I wouldn't want to risk it. read more

I was in a rush to get a yard ramp ordered. Got a quote from a different out of state vendor that was charging an arm and a leg for their ramp and shipping. So, I called Quality Materials and spoke to Jonathan Espinoza. He listened to what we needed, provided us with several "quality" options and placed our order right away and expedited it. QMH is a reliable company. I got referred by one of my supplier. And they ready did not let me down. Professional Staffs , Great Customer Service. They will come to your warehouse and help you to figure out the best solution for you. There always someone to pick up the phone when you call, and all emails will be replied in 24 hours. I gave them a call and was pleasantly surprised at how courteous and knowledgeable the staff was. I came here last Easter. They were closing early but still made it with 15 mins before closing. All I needed was 4 pieces to complete my shelving in my storage. When I arrived I was asked, did I phone it in? Is it on order through one of our sales guy? I said, no but I'm sure you can help me. I just need four small pieces. The reply was, well I think we've let our warehouse guys go home early. I'm not sure we can pull your order if it wasn't pre ordered. Can you come back Monday? I said, no i have all my stuff laid out over a 20' sq ft area. I need these pieces just to finish my shelving. His reply was, so their is no way you can come back? I thought to myself, geez dude! I just need 4 small pieces. Walk yourself over to the warehouse and get them for me. Be about customer service! He tells me he'd need to ask his supervisor if he could proceed with the order. He comes back and says, ok we can do that for you. We'll thanks dude! After this fiasco I'm not coming back. I don't buy a ton of shelving but I do frequent. I know go to AA Boltless Shelving in El Monte. They admitted to me that they hear this kinda stuff from QMH all the time! Maybe I was delaying the game? Maybe QMH was more interested in playing golf on that green they have set up outside. read more

The company I work for, Techni-Cast, purchased a portable loading dock ramp from QMH. I researched several local companies who sold portable loading dock ramps. Blake at QMH was very helpful and very prompt with getting a quote over to us. The ramp was assembled and delivered in 7 days as promised and free delivery. The portable loading dock ramp is very well made, easy to operate and move around our yard. Our shipping department loves this ramp.
