I've only been to one other ABC Pizza and that's in Dade City. So based on my experience there I base my rating on that. This place looks to be very old and outdated. There's a room near the entry on the right that seems to been converted to storage. Pizza boxes were stacked in that area too. No one greets you upon entry and the staff seemed a bit disinterested. I only saw 2 other groups of people while I was there. So needless to say I wasn't that impressed with being there. The pizza was good but not the best I've had from them. I think this place needs a major overhaul to say in business. Considering that Hungry Howie's is not far it may be a better option. read more

We used to live in Plant City and have been going here for over 5 years. Their Special pizzas menu says no substitutions, but they have ALWAYS accommodated my request for a slight variation to the Mediterranean pizza, for which we pay extra. Literally for 5 years we've been ordering and picking up, or going in and ordering this pizza, with ABSOLUTELY ZERO ISSUES... Well, last night we go in, order the pizza and a salad for my wife, when the waitress (a very sweet young lady named Hanna) informed us that the manager will not make any substitutions whatsoever. I explained that we've been ordering this for literally 5 years, and we pay extra for it. She said Riley was absolutely unwilling to make an exception. I said we usually talk to Amber(who, honestly should be managing the place and is absolutely awesome) and it has never been a problem. Amber did not work on Saturdays, but could she tell him that? This poor young lady Hanna was visibly AFRAID(She didn't say she was afraid, but when I asked her to tell him that, she said she'd rather not, he won't change his mind) to go back and say anything else to him, which tells you the type of not only poor manager, but the type of terrible person he is overall to instill that type of feeling into their employees... we said we'll just cancel the pizza order, and he said just cancel their entire order, lol, as if we weren't already planning to leave... Riley, it is YOU sir, causing issues and running your business into the ground. Absolutely terrible customer service. Sounds like the kind of nepotist deal where you couldn't get/keep another job, or burned so many bridges that your family has to let you be in the family business because you has no other choice... quite pathetic for someone in management to not appreciate a return customer of 5 years. Looking at this place from the outside, I was a little skeptical, but my mom stated she had the food here before and enjoyed it. The service was good, the waitress was a nice older lady. The inside looks similar to the outside, kinda old school, out of date decor. Upon being seated we ordered our drinks, and free bread was served, the bread was pretty good, so we were off to a great start. I had ordered the "House Special" pizza, and she had Italian sub. We also had an order of jalapeño poppers. I would say the pizza was pretty average. Nothing crazy special about it. Same goes for the jalapeño poppers. Would I come here again? ABC Pizza was a last-minute stop for a convenient quick dinner on our way home. My wife and I were craving pizza and this place seemed as good as any. We ordered a large meat pizza and a salad to-go. 15 minutes ahead of time, we placed it online and then headed that way. We ended up a little early but nothing major. We pulled through the drive-thru and spoke with the girl at the window. She was friendly, checked on our order, and brought us the salad. She then asked us to pull forward and she would bring out the pizza when it was ready. We pulled forward and waited. And waited. Nearly 20 minutes go by and I decide I should go in to check. I walked in and sure enough, our pizza was just sitting there waiting. The lady that got it for me apologized and we went on our way. We were hungry so as soon as we got home, we got to eatin. The pizza wasn't hot but it was warm still. The meat was aplenty on here. It had pepperoni, ham, bacon, sausage and ground beef. They didn't sparse on the toppings and this pizza was loaded. The meat tasted fresh and the crust was pretty good too. Slightly crispy around the edges but soft and a little floppy from the weight of the toppings. We also really enjoyed the salad. We got the Greek salad with the house dressing. It was a loaded salad with feta, cucumbers, ham, tomatoes, and a few other things. Everything was fresh and tasty here and the house dressing, while I couldn't really identify what it was, went well on top. Between the large pizza and the full-size salad, it fed us for two meals so that was a good thing. ABC Pizza is a smaller chain in the Tampa Bay area. There are locations here and there. This was our first time to one. They have dine-in which gives the vibe of a classic sit-down pizza place, which you don't find too much anymore. Having been forgotten about in the empty drive-thru line may have impacted how well we enjoyed our pizza but I don't see a reason to not give this ABC another chance. read more

This place actually serves really good pizza! I ordered from Uber eats, and the only problem I had was the garlic bread did not have cheese when I ordered it with cheese. It was still very tasty though. The meatballs are not actually meatballs like I had imagined, they're small balls of ground beef, but the pizza itself was surprisingly good. I think the pricing is fair, especially through the Uber app. I know it's a tad bit cheaper in the store. We are new in the area and this was recommended by a local. The staff are very kind. Very easy going and our waitress was sweet. Drinks are huge. The pizza we ordered however was not so great. We got a large with half mushroom and onion. It took a while for it to come out but we really didn't care and still don't. The sauce has a pleasant flavour and isn't bad. The dough is more like cardboard. It was pretty much dry, flavourless and heavy. The cheese side came out hot the other half was cold. I don't understand that. We actually laughed about it because me and my other half kept saying it was cold my son who was eating cheese said its hot. So my other half took a piece of the cheese and said hes right its actually hot. How did they do that? I was like I don't know but the onions are raw. We were starving and each ate two pieces and took the rest with us. We wound up throwing it in the garbage. I could have gone to HH for a lot less and a lot more flavour and the entire pizza would have been hot. Actually I'm pretty sure it's close to being one of those places on kitchen nightmares. When we pulled up during dinner on a Friday night, the parking lot was nearly empty, first red flag. Walking in, the restaurant feels old, outdated and the tables are sticky. From the time we sat down the service was horrible, when the server finally came to the table she was unkempt and had her hair all over the place. Salad came out quick, it was ok. Pizza was soggy, but to give credit it wasn't the worst pizza I've had. Server was non-existent, no refills, then when she would show up she would be frazzled and in a hurry, then it would take forever for her to come back. After dinner, went to the counter and pay and not ONE lf the 3 people standing there acknowledged me. The older lady actually looked at me, and walked away. Finally, someone came over and helped me, took my money but didn't ask how anything was. Seems like they need to work on hospitality, as the table next to us had a load of problems too. Came by for some pizza and Salad on a Friday night. It is a no frills family style pizza shop. It was busy and the waitress was constantly moving. We ordered a mini Greek with a scoop of potato salad and Caesar salad. We shared the Greek salad and it was delicious, the potato salad was great. It has a spice in it that made it different than most. The girls shared the Caesar and loved it, again huge salad the four of us could have shared. We had the House Special Pizza. The crust is crispy and the middle is a little soft and makes it hard to pick up. Still great pizza with a lot of meat. We will be back for salad and pizza. read more

We never received our "side salad" with our meal, and said something to the server about having my greek salad for free (they are the same size) to cover for the side salad that we never received. My Sweetie and I stopped in for dinner last night, and we were seated right away. The place was about 1/2 full with patrons. Our waitress, Brandi, was very nice and helpful. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, and eggplant parmensan. It came with a small salad and garlic toast. The chef sent out a plate of chicken parm for us to try-it was very good, lots of cheese and homemade red sauce. Then our orders came out and Wholly Moley-the plates were huge and FULL of food. Really large portions! We needed 2 more people to help eat all of the food on the table. The meat sauce was very homemade and delicious, the service was very good, the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place for homemade food. The Dade City ABC Pizza is close by and I frequently order take out. Having tried almost everything on the menu we have been very satisfied. The Grinders are off the chain and well worth the cost. Thomas Lance thought of as the person who coined the phrase "If it ain't broke don't fix it". Today my family ordered our favorite grinders, they were ready for pick up within 15 minutes, the crew was very friendly, everything that took place since the order went without any hint on what we were going to experience when we opened up our individually packaged meals. The bread used for the grinders had changed and were equal to large hot dog rolls in which were soggy and though the same ingredients the taste was not the same. This is wrong on so many levels that grinders have been removed from our short list we use when ordering take out. With inflation affecting everyone I understand the need to fallback in certain areas, however in this menu Item I would have gladly paid more and understand, in my book the grinders went from being the top two to being the bottom even beating out subway of that ranking. We are new to the area, having moved from Washington State a few weeks ago. We showed up with a party of 12 and two of our group are allergic to pepper. However, Shanna took it all in stride and even checked the ingredients for sauces and salad dressings at least three times to verify if they had pepper. I had the BBQ sandwich which was very good.
