I had Fidel come out to my house and talk about installing a pergola attached to my house and extending outward. It would have been 13x24 white aluminum. But, due to my HOA I needed a 10ft setback from my fence. So I said no way would it work. Then Fidel drew up new plans for a free standing, that also didn't work because the HOA said I now had to be 5 ft from my house. So that didn't work either. Eventually, I was not able to have a backyard pergola installed. Fidel spent a lot of time on the designs, both times. When I told him I wanted to pay him for his time & design drawing he said "no". Adan was on top of my request for bids through the Yelp! app. All communications were handled through the Yelp! messaging except for a text here and there, but this is my preferred way to do business. Adan came out and took measurements. Showed me samples of the aluminum awnings his company uses. Gave me a verbal quote and he will send me a quote through email. All I need to do is my homework on aluminum siding. These guys get great reviews and are on my list to engage them. The patio behind my townhouse looked open and not very usable, so I contacted ABC Patio Installers to put in covers over the sliding doors on 2 sides of the patio. Fidel measured, provided several options, and gave me a quote. Once I accepted his contract, he provided a schematic and copies of his license and insurance so I could obtain approval from my homeowner's association. With the approval, he promptly applied for the necessary permit. He kept me continually in the loop as the process progressed. The end result is wonderful, making the patio much more usable. He came out a few days after completion to make sure there had been no weather related issues. Unlike many aluminum covers, this looks so substantial and wood-like. ABC Patio Installers were AMAZING!! We just had a pergola installed over our back patio in March and it looks so much better than we ever thought it even would. Fidel was so awesome to deal with! He was very responsive, personable, and he gave us a lot of suggestions on what to do based on what we said we wanted done. We were wavering between 1" and 2" spacing, and he even built us a mock top that showed both since we were having trouble with a visual to really decide. We feel he went above and beyond! The prices were certainly better than other places we got estimates from too. The timeline was fast with getting permits and they worked very fast! The holes were dug one day, the concrete poured another day, then the entire large pergola was built in one day. Inspections followed the next week and everything has been amazing!
