This meal service is a huge blessing! I have tried multiple other plant based food delivery…read moreservices. From the quantity of the food, taste, nutritional profile and reasonable cost, this is by far the best. I eat the side dishes for lunch with a scoop of the protein pack add on and the mains for dinner, topped off with a couple cookies. Thank you so much making healthy eating delicious and easy!

*Vegin' Out-standing Ovation*…read more {{{Special Review #250 for one of my all-time favorite vegan joints}}} Still some of the best vegan food & delivery service around. Everything is heart healthy & tasty, containing nothing but the finest ingredients...and mostly oil-free. Different menus every week with some items duplicated throughout any given month...and the following months too. Most of the entrees & sides are inspired by Indian, Asian, Mediterranean, Persian and Italian food...and some are offered as gluten-free too. For me, some of the sides are like an entree and vice versa. Some of the portions appear slightly small...but they pack it inside the containers so there's more than it looks...and I always have enough food for 5-6 days worth of meals -- sometimes even more if & when I add my own vegan food & veggies to maximize servings. All their organic veggies & produce are crisp & fresh... Their vegan soups are all unique & delicious... The vegan cookies are very tasty...and usually gobbled up within a day or two :) But they're not GF... They offer discounts for first-time customers and reoccurring subscriptions too... There's a cool Yelp discount being offered right now... Always pleased with their customer service...and do whatever they can to fulfill special requests and dietary restrictions.... Delivery is always on-time and kept cold inside the packaging...and they provide reusable cloth bags with zippers that last years... Their packaging is all environmentally safe & recyclable... They used to service only Los Angeles and some surrounding Counties...but now they've expanded Nationwide for an extra delivery charge of course. Whether you're vegan or not or the new kid on the block, it's definitely worth trying. It's no wonder they've been in business since 2008...and I think I was one of their 1st customers :) Not much more I can say or write...so check out their website...step-up to the plate...and your taste buds will be knocked out of the park. {{{Big High Fives}}} Grandslam I'm a fan.

I believe there is a $5 minimum purchase but it is not really enforced. I've also gotten a berry chantilly matcha with oat milk at the coffee bar here, and it was delicious and only $5.25!! What a steal for matcha in this economy. Recently, I I came here just for the matcha again but the coffee bar was closed sadly :/ leading me to dock off one star. If you're coming in just for the amazing and affordable drinks, would recommend calling the store to confirm if their coffee bar is open!

On the bright side, it easily made my top 10 most disgusting foods ever eaten in my life list. (Think 5-6th place easy.) As I unwrapped (had to fight from the heat and almost melted flour tortilla to separate from the packaging) the burrito looked like it had been put through a car wash, a soaked tortilla fused with the inside crap that was in it. Barely any eggs or cheese, nasty half-assed cooked potato pieces (of course plenty of that) and a feeling of hopelessness and self-guilt for spending 8 bucks on this garbage. Well, at least garbage was good once before it's thrown away. Stick to the blueberry muffins which are great, but this was so bad can't find words in a Thesaurus to describe the level of terribleness and inspired me to write this tragic review.

I went here on May 3rd after struggling with symptoms for several months and not finding much…read morerelief elsewhere. The process was definitely different from a regular doctor visit, but honestly, it was a really interesting experience. Since the practitioner doesn't speak English, I translated my symptoms into Chinese using Google Translate and showed him my phone. He checked my tongue and pulse very carefully before writing out a custom herbal tea prescription entirely in Chinese characters. You then take the prescription to the front counter where they prepare the herbs into 5 separate bags. Each bag lasts 2 days, and you boil the herbs for about an hour, strain the tea, and save the rest for the next day. I'm not going to lie -- the tea tastes STRONG. Very earthy, bitter, and honestly like dirt lol. Each boiled tea bag yields 24-32 oz. that needs to be consumed warm, preferably in one sitting after lunch. It was hard to drink, but after finishing my first cycle (10days) I noticed a huge improvement in my symptoms. They explained that most people do 2-3 cycles using the same prescription for full results. I genuinely feel a lot better. I paid $20 for consultation + $85 for the tea. If you use the prescription and 2nd time you only pay for the tea of $85. They take credit cards but there is a $6 transaction fee.

The doctor has that classic, knowledgeable presence, and you can tell there's a lot of experience behind what they do. It's a family-run business, and everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, patient, and insightful. I really love seeing Asian-owned businesses like this getting more attention and support. The space itself has a cozy, nostalgic feel and honestly gave me Spirited Away vibes in the best way. Overall, it felt welcoming, thoughtful, and rooted in tradition.

Great shop! I love the mission of eco-friendly cleaning products, I've been searching for a new…read moregood shop since coming to LA and I think this will be my spot. I ordered gloves, a bottle brush, dish brush, and pot brushes. Gloves and dish & bottle brushes were all great. Well-made and no plastic in the brushes which I really appreciate, as other stores sometimes have a wood handle but plastic bristles. The pot brushes were unfortunately terrible. I got multiple because I use one for cleaning my sink and one for pots. Both dissolved upon contact, spraying little chunks of bristle and just generally being a nightmare. They didn't clean very well either. I will be ordering again but next time will probably skip those and look for a different solution for hard-bristled brush. I ordered local delivery, and they reached out and asked if they could ship it instead. I'm fine supporting the Postal Service. I had tipped for delivery, and they said the tip would go "to the team." Slightly weird just because I wouldn't normally tip for retail, but ok, I don't mind supporting a small sustainable business. Next time I'll opt for delivery to avoid the oddness. Again overall I had a very positive experience; any criticism is in good faith because I love this store's mission and I want to continue to support it! Thank you Sustain LA for doing what you do.
