LindAHH, Listennnn, you need to walk really quick to just about a run but not quite because their floors are smooth and clean. It's one of my favorite things about this place, you don't get those "crumbs" under your feet as you move from one area to the next. First time here, I got a 90 minute combination and was practically waiting for them to open as I had stopped at three other places and they were closed for cleaning, located in loud shopping centers, or did not have the privacy rooms. This place checked all my boxes as I walked up. Yay!! They whisper here as well and the lady is seasoned to know not to go for the face when you have makeup on. Her hands felt small and strong enough during contact that she hit all the right crevices. I made it a point to look at them on the way out and admire them, (the hands) a bit creepy but I had to know just how her hands knew just what spot to hit without hesitation. She must have sensed that I REALLY REALLY needed this because I got an extra 30min and made sure I tipped her accordingly. I will definitely be coming back when I can afford the massage and generous tip and I will put this place on the list for a special girls day or gift giving. read more

Not sure what happened here but my massage was one of the worst I've had. I had a foot massage and she spent 10 mins on my feet. She oddly spent 10 mins just rubbing my temples. It started to give me a headache. This wasn't the usual massage I get here and I've never seen this masseuse before. Called 2 hours prior to make an 8:30 appt for me and my mom. Been coming here for years and was always a solid experience until recently. I went in for a foot massage and was impressed by the dimmed lights, spa-like relaxing music, and just overall relaxing atmosphere unlike other places I've been where you are under fluorescent lights. The lady who did my foot massage did a wonderful job for one hour. Included in the foot massage is a head, neck, shoulder and arm/hand massage and then they go on to massage your legs and feet. While getting the head and shoulder massage your feet are soaking in warm water. It was a wonderful experience and will go back again for sure. read more

Ok I get that this place is cheap, but it was the worst massage I have ever had. I never met a massage I didn't like... until today. It felt like an assault from a sumo wrestler. I couldn't believe the strength from such a tiny woman! She climbed on the table and actually sat on my butt while she massaged my back! That was a first. Then leaned her full body weight on me as she dug her knees into my bare butt & I had a hard time breathing. I wore underwear, but she pulled it down and left me completely exposed with the sheet off. They didn't ask about pain history or injuries or fill out any paperwork. She could have really jacked up someone with any back pain or injury. She was so rough, it actually bruised my back and neck. It was not relaxing, nor did it alleviate the pain and stiffness - which is what I went in for. The table was hard, like a block of wood. The face pillow had a metal bar across the middle so every time she pushed on my head or neck, I thought she would smash my teeth in. Then, when I went to pay - their machine kept asking for a pin and they were confused by that so I had to keep using different cards. They didn't speak English and another lady used an app to try and translate... but it was laughable and more confusing. They were really sweet, but it was not a pleasant experience. Most importantly ask for Joy. Not only does she speak English but she gives $100 massage for $40 that includes hot stones and lasts an hour. This girl has some strength, is very pleasant and sweet She just started work here last Friday. I will never go to anyone else. Out of all the massage places this place is the most consistent in giving a great massage. I usually get the same person and she's able to get it just right for me. Now mind you, I like my massages deep and this lady does just that. She will elbow you and dig deep and it does hurt but feels good afterwards. For those who like a relaxing shiatsu massage, this is probably not the place to go. They will get on the table and make sure there's enough pressure to give you a good deep massage. Yes they pull down your underwear to the point your butt crack shows, but they give you great deep tissue massage everywhere. If you are not comfortable with that, then just pull your underwear back up, it's simple. They will get the point you don't want your butt crack showing without you having to try to explain to them in English because they don't understand the language at all. They only speak Mandarin. If you have lots of requirements, then don't go here because they won't understand what you are saying unless you say "good", "hard" or "soft." But overall, this is my favorite place and I go every other week. read more

They don't speak English aside from "good" asking if they are massaging you right. The language is basically hand language. When I entered I was welcome by an awe full smell that smelled like "moth balls". The lady who did my foot massage was terrible. Worst massage I've ever had! I feel so robbed - my husband got me a gift card for an hour and a half massage for Valentines Day and I finally had a chance to use it. I was really looking forward to a relaxing massage but that's not what this was. Her name was May and she was very sweet but had terrible technique!! She was hurting me instead of giving a relaxing massage. I couldn't wait for it to be over, when usually I'm wishing it would never end! She got up on top of the table and sat on my butt at one point while she massaged my back, so strange. Holy wow this place is not for the faint of heart. I've seen this place a few times and decided to try it out. It's quiet with soft (chinese?) music, clean and nicely decorated. There are 4 stations for foot massages in the front, then closed-door rooms for back massages in the back. I had a 30 min foot and 30 min back massage for $35. The reason I say not for the faint of heart is because these ladies are strong!! my goodness. I should have been warned when another patron made a joke about the pressure for her foot massage and then someone said "no pain no gain". heh. The foot massage was interesting, I am assuming it is the "foot reflexology" style where the rub different nooks and crannies of your toes, foot, ankle because that is what I got. I have had this before so strong pressure and occasional discomfort were not a surprise. I thought it was still enjoyable but if you have weak, sensitive or ticklish feet, I recommend saying something up front. I moved to a room for the back massage part. And then this nice lady proceeded to massage, squeeze, pound and slap my poor self into oblivion. I couldn't believe such strong pressure came from the same person. And the slapping (for lack of a better word) appears to be an actual technique. Kind of like a "ta-da!!" at the end. I wish I could have recorded my own thoughts throughout the back massage...probably some gurgling, some oo/ahhing, some holy crap, some laughing thinking wtf is happening, and so on. For a moment I even mentally nicknamed her Helga, and wondered if she thought I was some bodybuilder from the way this was going. Even funnier, was that I think the lady was a little tired too after that, she sighed and giggled when it was over. The sign at the front had a range of prices from $35-60, with shiatsu back massages with oil lotion listed at the top and foot massages and combos listed at the bottom. So a solid "deep tissue" massage, eastern style. Highly recommend if you need to get out some knots. I definitely had some in my upper shoulders which she attacked with purpose. I think technically the chair-massage is an easier position to rub out the upper back, so still prefer Foot Reflexology up the block. I would go back if I was in the mood to be rolled out like play doh that's been left out a couple days. I'm sure there will be those days. read more

The foot massage was pretty relaixing. I was seated in an open area where I could soak my feet in warm water. I'm not sure if anything was added to the water. Didn't seem like it to me. The lady then proceeded to massage my head, neck, shoulders, arms and hand. She then provided the foot massage. It was pretty relaxing and found myself dozing off a couple times. There was soft music playing in the background. After my 45 was up, I moved in to a private room where I was to get my full body massage. This was also very relaxing. For a little asian lady, her hands were strong. I had to ask her to soften up her technique! I mentioned that I would like her to focus on my back and shoulders and that was exactly what she did for the majority of the time. She then left and came back with hot stones. I don't know about you, but I've never had a hot stone massage before and I have nothing to compare it to. But my experience was great. I thought the stone was a bit hotter than I would have liked but it felt really good. I'm sure it helped with the tension also. The last 10 mins of the massage was on my extremities. It is such a dirty place. So smelly bad sheets, towels and kitchen towel for a face and body. Also whenever I went there, after finishing the massage when I looked at my clothing, there were too much dust on it.. I was so shocked. So maybe that's why they keep the place really dark. I always get the 60 min oil massage and it is worth every penny of the $40 I spend. Each person that has worked on me has been amazing! They really work on each spot they needs work - I don't even have to say where to work, they find it no problem! With the oil massage, you also get hot stones which they massage your back with. It's just that the lady wore latex gloves the whole time and I guess that's just what they do because I saw the lady (massaging the guy next to me) wearing them too. This was my first visit to this massage place and I really enjoyed it! For years, husband & I have always gone to what WAS our favorite place in Clovis. I think this is now my favorite. I opted for a 1 hour foot/body massage combo for only $35 and it was great! The female masseuse used good pressure and she checked in with me a few times to make sure she wasn't too "strong" I do wish they used hot water for the foot soak. It was luke warm. She did wear gloves which I thought might feel different but it was just fine. I loved the hot oil and the hot stone massage. She really worked out the knots in my neck & shoulders. The reason I'd gone in was because my arms & hands were weak and sore. I should've mentioned it to them before beginning because they didn't end up massaging them. Today was my first time trying out this place. There were two nice ladies who greeted me. However, both didnt seem to speak any English. They kept nodding and pointing at the price list when I asked them questions. Therefore. no answeres were given to me. One of them took me into a private massage room. I asked her if i should change now but she just kept nodding her head. Still no English. I take off all my clothes except for my underwear and lie face down with the sheet over me. She comes back to the room and says "no no". I guess she wanted me to lay on top of the sheet and cover myself with a towel. Rude! Rude! Rude! I came here for an unwinding day spa with my husband and the front desk worker didn't speak an ounce of English. She had to use a translator app. She told us though the app that it will be 10mins wait. Then another customer came in and wanted a gift certificate. Then the worker seem to be overwhelmed and called another worker that spoke broken English. She told the woman that came after us to come back after 5:30pm when all she wanted was a gift certificate. This worker just showed up didn't know who wanted what and just assumed everyone wanted a massage right then and there. After she was done helping the woman with her gift certificate then she decided to see what we wanted. Mind you we were there before the woman that wanted the gift certificate. Then she told me to come back after 5pm. I tried to understand why when the other woman worker said 10mins. And she cut me off to tell people behind me to be quiet because they were talking because they were confused as well. Then she rudely asked me if I want a massage or not.
