Massage scheduled last week for today at 11am. OMG! What a difference. This time the experience was not good. The worker that massaged me was really rough! i told her over and over she was being too rough. This was when she was massaging my lower body foot area. Then, we went to a room where I took off my clothes and then the worker came in and started to massage me more. To make matters worse they are booked and it was extremely rushed. A bit much! She also took 3 phone calls talking loudly and left twice. Gone for a bit. Unfortunately, it was the opposite of relaxing. It gets better, (sarcasm) when i told her she was hurting me she laughed at me. I'm leaving that massage very sore and feeling the opposite of relaxed. Even took Tylenol for how sore I feel. =( Luckily, my mother really enjoyed hers and was happy with the guy that did hers. Especially since he was happy to listen to her and the pressure she wanted. This is my favorite place to come. I have had the reflexology, the 1 hour combo, the full body massage. All the staff are very friendly & caring. The owners are respectful, kind, & always make sure thaty experience is 5 stars . I live in the Tower District & driving toward this side of town is definitely worth it. The facility is clean and the therapists are professional. They are quiet and pay attention to you and always find and address all your knots and problem areas. Some places don't seem to understand the importance of therapists not loudly talking amongst each other which can be super annoying and anti relaxing. That's never the case here! I've been here several times and I always get the one hour combo massage which is a great value. They start the massage with seating you on a large reclined sofa chair while you soak your feet in hot water. After attending to your feet, arms and face they take you to a private room. They massage your back with oil and finish of with a few minutes of hot stone therapy at no additional charge. I've never had a single negative experience here. My therapist was really great and thorough. The facility was clean and quiet. The foot massage chairs were such that for a combo with shiatsu they could flip you right over there and position you with room for your face for the second half. I just had a wonderful 60-minute foot massage from Jessie. She is magic! It was the perfect pressure starting with my neck and shoulders and continuing to my legs. The business is clean and quiet. The rates are reasonable. I even received a bottled water at the end. I will definitely return and ask for Jessie again. Came for a foot massage. It sucked. She rubbed my neck hard and my scalp to the point where she was pulling hair. Once she finally begun foot massage she rubbed on the same spot (mostly all leg massage) for a while before she would move on to a different spot. The foot rub was horrible. Not relaxing at all as she just kept doing the same rub over and over to the point where it was feeling warm. Then mid massage a man took over. His techniques were slightly better. Once they were done they scrub the lotion off with these super rough towels. I was quite shocked at how rough. She didn't ask how it was and when I tipped which she quite frankly didn't deserve she didn't thank me. Overall this place was seriously disappointing.
