Installed a furnace against code and even dangerously. CO2 alarms go off when wind is from south west to north west. Exhaust is next to gas meter and under our bay windows. Furnace is approx 66,000 btu for a two story 2000 plus home. Other company's have said the furnace is dangerous because it was not installed correctly and needs to be at least 118,000 btu. Wont heat home above 60 degrees when it is below 20 degrees, then it runs constantly. Took them approx 1 year to order a furnace part and install it when it was readily available. Furnace stopped running when it was -6 degrees. The service tech refused to come out because I told him about all the problems. He talked down to me and was extremely disrespectful. The company says there is nothing wrong with the installation or service. read more

I don't know what happened but I did get your latest proposal a few days back and you are way too expensive. I had 4 HVAC companies come out to my home recently like yours did and each gave me proposals on similar products and you are anywhere from $4000 to 15,000 higher than any of the other companies on similar HVAC systems with an air cleaner and gas line and a gas furnace and central AC plus a return air duct box for my 1500 SF newer well insulated home. Lennox and American Standard Trane and another Amana dealer were the ones I had here. I can get GEO thermal installed for less than the one bid you sent! I even checked on that earlier this past spring but it's too expensive. So No thanks. No way. We are all actually quite shocked at these prices! Mark read more

I wish I could give a company 0 stars. They charged twice for coming out when they didn't even diagnose a problem the first time. Poor customer service and quality busiess. Update: Furnace stopped working shortly after ABC came by. I'm not sure why, but it doesn't seem the problem was fully diagnosed properly. It would be nice if they came to look at it, but I will most likely have to pay another company to do so. read more

I've used ABC HVAC for 20 years to install and maintain, my current Amana furnace, and they also serviced the furnace before it and multiple water heaters, tanked and tankless. ABC has professional, curtiuos, and well trained technicians. I've been in the construction industry for 27 years and believe that ABC's rates are fair and reflect the quality of the service provided. ABC is a family based company and I have the same technicians today servicing my HVAC, that were around 15+ years ago, so they know my family and furnace. Had this company out in June to fix my a/c. They put in a new part and then I had them put in a digital thermostat. Almost $300 in parts and labor but all was running well. Until this week. No a/c again. Called ABC and they came. Out of coolent. Might be a leak. Find and fix the leak for $300-600. "Why didn't he notice a leak last time?" Guy shrugs. Nice. "We could just fill it up again but it may leak out in a few days or a few months." Yeah, I would bet on which of the two it is. I had planned to use this compnay to convert my wood fireplace into gas. Don't think I want this company working on gas lines in my house. What if they miss a leak again? ABC performed a complete replacement of our outside condenser unit and inside air handler with an excellent Amana system and at a price less than half what their competition quoted me for the very same system!! Mike the owner was at our house on a Wednesday and was able to provide a written estimate before he left and by close of business Friday we had a brand new system. The installers Jerrod and Tim respected our property and performed a neat workmanlike installation and cleaned everything up when they were finished. I have to say that I RARELY write reviews but this company left me with a very strong impression: Honest price, quick service, quality work, and complete customer satisfaction from the gal who answers the phone, its management, and their installers. read more

Good, Fast, Cheap (Pick two) I'd say good and fast is how I'd describe recent $8,600 furnace and AC install. Amana brand is quality, and this is the second time I've had ABC do an install for me (two houses). This is a family company, with long term employees. What impressed me most was the painstaking effort to size make-up air for the furnace, precise measurement of sq. footage, numerous options, included in the quote. In the five day install which included water heater and some additional work they were polite, responsive, and professional. read more

I would recommend ABC to everyone in need of heating and AC services! They are very professional and thorough. I've used Bauer twice and each time they tried to sell me a whole new 4,000.00 dollar cooling system just because of a refrigerant leak. They love pushing new equipment! Just moved into a home with an hvac system installed by ABC. I really can't think of any positives. I listen to banging and popping ducts. Ducts are not sealed well, and two air returns on the main floor are not even connected to the return trunk. I would never call this company to do any work. read more

ABC was very quick in responsive when my furnace went out on Christmas day. I was so thankful they were able to come out the very next day to take a look. They replaced a part on my 30 years old furnace to see if they can hopefully salvage it through this winter. The furnace ran decent through 2 weeks sub zero temperature until it finally died. I emailed Mike at ABC on that same day and he was able to schedule to come out 1 day later. I love the new furnace and I am so happy to have heat just in time for another cold storm. So far this baby runs like a dream, so smooth and quiet unlike my old one. There's no smell from furnace when its on anymore. Looking at the heater makes me feel all warm and fuzzy because now its actually toasty in my house. The thermostat is awesome too with different time settings. Grant and Jerrod did a very very good job. I thought Grant's drywall cut and also the metal box he made on top of the furnace were pieces of artwork. The drywall cut wasnt as bad as I thought it would be and I will be able to cover the insulation easily. They gave me a lot of tips and explained things well to me as I am a new homeowner. Eventhough it was so cold out, I really enjoyed being able to watch them work and learn things from them. Jerrod even taught me the "sequence of operation." They have a wonderful team here. Every single one was very knowledgeable, extremely professional and courteous. They treat their work with such pride and perfectionism as if they were working on their own house. I cant thank them enough for their hard work!! This is the first and definitely wont be the last time I choose ABC for my future heating and AC needs. read more
