On his very first day my son splits his head open under there care. I hope this place gets shut down for child neglect. Two staples later. They claim from what my son's mother was told "he climbed into a shelf and fell" But I find it very odd that his face got bruised up that bad AND on the back of his head. It wasn't a roll down a hill. Just a fall? So??? Either way if my son was able to get himself up onto a shelf it would've taken him longer than 5-30 seconds. So why didn't anyone address it and get him down and prevent the fall? Why didn't any care workers notice? Why didn't they? Right. Look at all of these other reviews in here they have a looooooong track record. My son isn't one to climb on shelves. Or counters for that matter. None of it makes sense. Either way nope nope nope. Hands down the best daycare I have ever taken my kids to. We love Sue the owner. My son does morning and after school care and my daughter does after school care. They have been so wonderful towards my children. My 5 year old struggled in the beginning, but they helped him feel comfortable and safe. Both my kids love it there and don't want to leave, because they have so much fun learning, crafts, free play and many more activities. We have had such a good experience with ABC Great beginnings To try to condense all the things we love about this daycare is hard. All 3 of our boys have attended. Currently we have 2 enrolled, 1 in school age and 1 in the Todd's A class. The school age class takes my son on field trips all summer long. This is a parents dream because he is getting to go to so many places and with his friends. The best part of it is he has grown up with the same group of kids since he is was 1 and is now 6. He has the best relationships with them! My 1 year old has really bad separation anxiety and his teachers have been so amazing with him. They have helped him feel comfortable and loved. They have a schedule where they do different things with the kids like sensory activities, crafts, nap time, snack ECT this has helped my son so much being in a routine but also being able to shake things up and move to different activities throughout the day. He's already learned so much with them. He gets excited to get out of the car when get to daycare to run inside to his classroom. On top of how much my kids love the daycare, my husband and I have our own things we love. The security of the building. We know that no one who should not be there can get in. The staff is always friendly and available. They have always been open to any feedback we have and the staff minus a few has been the same the entire 6 years we have been attending ABC which does a lot because what they do is so hard and takes so much energy and patience to do what they do day in and day out. We are so incredibly thankful to each teacher. They play such a big role in our kids life and spend more time with them during the day than we are able to. So to know they are loved and cared for each day is such a great feeling. My kids also LOVE all the food from ABC. I try to replicate it sometimes at home and I am told very often how it is not as good as ABC's read more

Staff here has been incredible so far. We brought our daughter here starting in the middle of the pandemic. We were worried about starting her during this time. They were extremely successful with how they handled it. The teachers and staff here have been kind, supportive and very knowledgeable. My favorite part foe our child in the infant class is they have an app they use. It allows us to have a good understanding what is needed and how she is doing daily. Keep it up ABC!!!! read more

My child and stepchildren went to ABC for several years. The facility is nice, but the director, Kelly Rae, is miserable to deal with. She seems to have zero empathy for anyone including the staff or the children. Unfortunately, there was A LOT of turnover here. Teachers generally lasted only a few weeks, but some of them were great. If a nice facility is all you are looking for, ABC is great. If stability in teachers and kind staff is what you are looking for, steer very clear from this facility. read more

Let me just start off by saying that I am a busy full time working mother of two, and it takes A LOT of effort to go out of my way to leave a business a bad review. My son went here for about two years. Due to a custody battle, I was unable to relocate him for some time. About two months into his stay, I noticed the turn around of staff. It's unbelievable how many people have worked here. I never knew what room my son was in or what caretaker he'd have during his time there. Kellie Rae is unprofessional. It's hard to believe she's the director of a place that seems so put together. Not only did my son break his arm on their watch, her terrible attitude never seemed to dissipate. She's a nightmare to have a conversation with. It's practically impossible to reason with her. It seems the only time she's professional is when you're making a payment. At any rate, please send your children elsewhere. It's a shame, this place has so much potential but stuck with a bitter, unhappy person for leadership. read more

really had high hopes for ABC Beginnings but much to my surprise they discriminate against special needs kids. Which I am looking into but cannot be legal! I went in there to do an "observation" for my autistic 4 year old. They not only wanted an IEP from a year ago they wanted to watch her for 30 minutes to see how well she did. Which to me is crazy. You cannot see how a child will do by watching them for a few minutes and reading what is on paper. They decided that she wasn't a good fit for their daycare because of what was on paper and the 30 minutes they watched her???? They didn't even give her a chance. (which by the way we had just moved here so she is completely out of her element and in a transition phase). Thank you Sue and Kelly for deciding my child wasn't good enough for your daycare. I worked here and my children attended the daycare. While a daycare isn't my preferred choice for raising a child, it's necessary for many; so the parents who send their children here are very lucky. The teachers love children and are competent. Some of them are truly amazing, and should probably be paid more like $35/hr (with the volume of kids and their quality of work), but that would make it impossible for many to afford to send their kids here - so we're just lucky these women love kids so much. The management is very careful to adhere to the regulations to keep the daycare compliant with its certification requirements. I've had jobs where they treated their employees like teenagers, but they were very warm and respectful toward me. I'm very happy to have this daycare around to serve our community. read more

BEWARE! DISCRIMINATION! absolutely no compassion or patients for kids with needs. They said they had a spot open and it looked so clean and nice so my wife and I where very excited. my daughter has mild autism and is extremely high functioning. at the last daycare she attended everyone loved her and was sad to see her go. But in this cog wheel of a daycare they didn't even give her a chance! I could tell they thought she would be extra work that they did not want to deal with (which she is not) They brought us in to do an evaluation and I had a bad feeling from the beginning. It seemed like they where only doing the evaluation to go through the motions and they knew full well they had no intentions of letting her play there with the other kids. They want nothing to do with kids that have special needs at all. I understand some kids need special services but not my daughter. she is better behaved than most kids I see today. She is behind on her development but she just needs a diaper change every now and again and won't sit still in there little circle time. Yeah that's what kids do. The director kept saying things like we dont want to waste your time are you shure you want to do the evaluation. she was arrogant and completely ignorant to what a day care should be. So we proceeded with the evaluation anyway because every day care around me is full and they gave us 30 minutes of evaluation and rejected us. Of course my daughter was crying. She has not adjusted to the new change yet! We left her in a strange place all the sudden with no time to process what is happening. All kids do that and you couldn't possibly get an idea of how a kid behaves in 30 Minute! and they are expensive for nothing! Do yourself a favor and just don't even call. Even if your kid is not on the spectrum do you want heartless people like this watching and your kids? read more

This is one amazing daycare! I would highly recommend taking your children here! My kids have been going here for over three years and I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff. During this time, my boys have had different teachers as they grow and go to new classes. Each teacher has been wonderful. My youngest son has had some separation anxiety with leaving Mom and Dad during this time... KelliRae has gone out of her way to meet with us and go over our concerns. Our son was intimidated by one teacher last summer, KellieRae again met with us and also had the teacher meet with us. This specific teacher went out of her way to spend extra time with our son, in the end she ended up being his favorite teacher. He still talks about how much fun she was. I have read some of the other parent reviews and feel bad that these parents did not have a good experience. Yes, there have been teachers that have come and gone. I would think that would be with any daycare. This is a tough job to do and I commend anyone that can "babysit" several children all day long everyday. As a mother, I feel that anyone that kind find an amazing daycare that love your children as much as you do, you hang on to that and appreciate everything they offer. After all, theses teachers are helping us raise our children! I would never take my children anywhere else. Yes, I have taken my children to different daycares in the past. Yes, I have found some that are even a little less expensive. But.... when my children are happy going to the daycare and wave goodbye and are happy when you pick them up- how can you go wrong? read more

Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to send your child elsewhere. My daughter went to this daycare/preschool for about 45 days. During this time frame we were both not happy. This was the 3rd daycare my child had been to and would literally scream when I left her. She has not done this at any other daycare. There were numerous issues that seemed to never get addressed or if they were it was met with a response of "well sometimes things happen." A good example is not having adequate staff due to staff calling in sick on top of an already low staff count. They seem to have no backup plan for when things like this happen. So basically it turns into one teacher with 30 kids. For a majority of the time my daughter went here I didn't know who her teacher was because she either didn't have a permanent teacher or it constantly changed due to their high staff turnover. When I would pick her up or drop her off the teachers were rarely engaged with the kids. Same thing goes with her class room. She has three different rooms assigned to her within 45 days. On one occasion my child was injured by another student and I was never informed. But for some reason the mother of the child that caused my child's injury was informed. I got an apology card days later from said mother, which is how I was informed of the injury. However nothing from the daycare. I asked why I hadn't been informed. (Most daycare's do an injury card.) They told me they do injury cards as well, however on this particular instance they forgot. I had noticed a bump on my child's head, but she couldn't remember what happened. Apparently it was due to this child kicking my child in the face while she was on the ground. After that I noticed that same child injuring other children, without any action being taken. I'd like to mention that each of these complaints was given directly to the owner. She said she cared, but like I said didn't really seem to do much about it or make backup plans for instances like the low staff issue. I wish I would have trusted my gut and left sooner. read more

I took both my kids to this daycare ages 3 and my other started the daycare once she was 2/3 months old. At first it seemed like an okay daycare. It's big lots of classrooms its new so it's in good condition and clean. I can't even tell you how AWFUL this daycare was to me. I received help with childcare through the state and the owner always seemed like she had a problem with it. I can't even tell you how many times she told me so your benefits will probably stop because I told them.. "Your son wasn't here this month" (when I was on maternity leave and they knew that), "I told them that your daughter was only here for this amount of time" (again I was on maternity leave with my children so they started halfway through the month). When I took my kids to a different ABC (West Valley) the director had me sign a paper so she could access my stuff and she would print out documents I needed, have me sign them and send them over she was amazing! Kelli Ray was the owner/director while my children were there. She always had attitude if I needed to bring my kids in earlier because I was called into work. We even got into an argument over the phone because I was pissed she told me my daughter couldn't come in the next day after she had just told me all my daughters paperwork was fine! The exact words out of her mouth were "well I can never get a hold of you because you always have the kids grandpa pick the children up!" I told her she could have easily called me just like she did that day. I always went in there with my guard up because Kelli Ray seemed like she was ALWAYS looking for a fight. My baby was ALWAYS fussy when I picked her up. Now at this new daycare my children are ALWAYS happy and the new daycare I go to is amazing! Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else! read more
