At a precious daycare, my toddler had multiple teachers as that place couldn't keep them. Learning tree teachers stay! That's very helpful for consistency. The infant room has great teachers. It goes 0-18 months. Then they have a second room for 18-24 months. The summer camp is great. We haven't used before or after school here but it seems like this can be a one stop shop if you have kids 0-12 years.

Every single teacher that we've had from the nursery to kindergarten has been Amazing, always so kind and patient with our kids, very communicative with us with whatever is going on. The ski and summer camp programs are unbelievable and add so much value while being able to maintain the convenience of the same drop off and pick up times throughout the year. The daycare has very few days off, which makes life as working parents incredibly simple. We chose Miss Billyis based off of numerous recommendations from friends and friends of friends, and we cannot be more enthusiastic about spreading the recommendation.

My daughter actually started at your daycare PRIOR to Covid and I did get to drop her off and pick…read moreher up from the classroom. This was before Mrs. April went on maternity leave. I found her AND other kids on top of the table and even commented why there are kids on top of the table and the young teacher or teacher assistant said "oh we are watching them". I informed Mrs. April and the director the next morning. My daughter was fine with drop off after the first week but started to cry and tug at me and dad after the first week. After the Covid restrictions, you switched to drop offs at the lobby and this went on for a few months but still during those few months...I couldn't get my daughter to come in on her own without crying and refusing to stay with you. Your director was informed an investigator was coming beforehand so she prepped her teachers on how to act to stay in business. I know for a fact she had a meeting with those teachers. You can't explain why my child was putting her hands over her head from your abuse though right? After 2 weeks in the new daycare she learned to trust her teachers and never...never did I struggle with drop off. She changed completely to her happy self and at times asked me and daddy to go home and pick her up later because she felt so safe and happy to be at the new daycare. You should not be in business. Your classrooms are unsanitary, smell so bad and you allow your teachers to abuse children. This causes PTSD, emotional distress, and trust issues with these kids. I pray that every parent does their research before trusting their kids with you. You're endangering our kids lives.

The women running this place completely failed the conflict that my ex brought to them while our child was in their care. They accused me of "trying to go into the girls bathroom" the first time I came on my lunch break to visit my child. Forced to subpoenaed their video files which absolutely refuted this. Preschool staff are supposed to be trained in being a primary reporter for children's well being, it was shocking that they would so casually make an accusation of this nature and raised enormous red flags as to the type of employee culture of this preschool.

My family recently re-located to Salt Lake City, and Foothill Montessori has without question been…read moreone of the highlights of being here thus far. Our toddler started at the school in August 2025 and he has LOVED it. Not only has he been safe, nurtured, and loved - he has also learned and developed a great deal and has made many new friends. His ability to maintain concentration, complete tasks independently, and verbalize thoughts and emotions has grown leaps and bounds. Indeed, Foothill Montessori is not just a daycare for toddlers and infants - the curriculum and staff provide schooling and learning just like they do for any other age group. I can't say enough good things about my son's Teachers (called "Guides"). Their respect for each child and their ability to teach and manage toddlers - all while maintaining utmost safety within the classroom - is second to none! The curriculum also includes a fantastic music program (which our little guy adores), as well as specific emotional / social development teaching by a dedicated (and amazing) staff-person. Not only have the education and experiences been great for our little guy, but the setting itself is nothing short of pristine. Most other schools (and especially daycares) are slightly dingy and also noisy. Not Foothill Montessori. The building is beautiful, light-filled, and extremely well-maintained. And it's shockingly quiet when you walk the halls. The Teachers / Guides are clearly super-engaged and cultivating an environment that keeps the youngsters' attentions. Most important, the entire staff knows and cares for each and every child. The leadership team and front-office staff seem to know everyone's name. I've observed them greeting by name every single parent and child who enters the school - from infants all the way up to 6th graders. I love dropping our son off to school, as I've come to consider the staff as good friends. And we've also been able to connect with fellow parents and enjoy playdates with other children. In addition to our toddler, we will be enrolling our infant daughter in a few months. All this to say -- I can't recommend Foothill Montessori enough and would give more than 5 stars if I could!
