This is my favorite liquor store in the Destin area. The hubby and I usually spend way too much time just roaming the isles in here on every visit. Maybe is is because we are on vacation and have unlimited time, but I find many cool thing in this store. I also find their prices very reasonable. When we were in there in September '22 we the hubby was looking for a specific local beer and an a worker left the counter and helped him look for the brand. Was greeted at the door and asked if I wanted a free sample. I said yes please, and then the employee/owner started chatting with someone behind me and walked away as if I no longer existed. A unique mix of slightly polite and very rude. Prices seemed good but selection was so so. I considered buying a well priced Sazerac Rye but the customer experience left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

Local, don't go there very much but my son (25 years old) and I went to get ingredients to make Hugo Spritz's. When checking out, the cashier was rude and asked for my son and my ID (I'm 62 y/o). My son did not have any ID and was probably 10 feet behind me. She demanded to see his ID and said it was store policy since he was handling liquor (he was not). Anyway, she embarrassed us and I simply told her next time I'll be going to Walmart. She said no need to get upset ...but I wasn't upset; just letting her know her I won't be supporting this store anymore. Since then, I went to Walmart just down the street and not only saved money, but didn't have to deal with rude people. read more

Wow, what a selection on all things Bourbon. Not a fan of the other stuff but their Bourbon/Whiskey selection can't be beat...

This store has EVERYTHING you need. I would have given it 5 stars but there was an older gentleman working stocking the aisles and not once did he offer any assistance. He never even greeted us. The young lady out was much friendlier and she helped us find what we essentially came in for. I was so impressed with the store, layout, and selection and price. If we lived here (on vacation) this is absolutely where we would shop for all of our spirits. Come to this location you will not be disappointed! read more

Beware if you walk in the store with anyone under 21, they will not sell to you. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude. Because my underage son was with me, she refused to let me checkout. Did the same thing to a father and his under 21 son behind me as well. You have to leave your kids in the car at this place (btw, referring to kids age 16+ in this situation). Really nice alcohol store at the beach. As I have written somewhat recently, these places are able to raise the prices because of the convenience. But since I haven't purchased a keg since college, I have no idea if they bumped the price. Especially since they were the only place I called that actually sold them. The people at the front and on the phone were not super helpful in answering questions. But they were real helpful when it came to to purchase and move the keg to my car. I wasn't able to walk around too much. But my buddies that were in two seem to enjoy themselves. But they are kind of dummies. Hence why I was the one taking care of everything and they were laughing at who knows what. Good experience overall and we got what we needed. read more

Just visited this location and I will tell you, this racial profiling that I experienced made me not purchase a single thing. I was followed around the store as I looked at cigars and vodka selections in such a blatant obvious manner I felt uncomfortable. I was unable to get the associates name but he had on a very worn black t-shirt with an ABC logo on it. I am in the process of finding a corporate office number to report this discrimination. I am capable of many looks so when I am not in my US ARMY uniform that I've been wearing for 26 yrs people may perceive me as being of questionable character,but you should never judge a book by its cover. read more

Staff was very helpful and the selection is great. We had to get beer for a wedding rehearsal of about 80 people and a clerk helped us out the entire time, found whatever we needed from the back a few times, and made our experience very smooth and easy read more

The guy named Jim at store #200 started yelling at me today simply because I asked for help looking for a few items in the store.... that's not how customer service works... he was very rude and told me I needed to learn the store as if I worked there... very rude!!! Not very friendly but very clean and neat. Huge and wide selection. Stopped to get setup for our vacation. If you're from out of town note that they card everyone in the party, even if only 1 person is buying. So leave those 21 and under outside. read more

I visited today for the first time and I really like this store. They have a LARGE selection of wines. They also carry hard liquor. The shelf tags for the wine have a rating of how sweet they are. They had 2 cashiers which means there was never a line to checkout (at least during my visit, which was longer than most because I wanted to look around). Overall nice store and I will be back. read more

Terrible customer service here. I just called the Destin location looking for a specific kind of beer. The woman I spoke with said they carried it. In fact, she said she had multiple cases and could see it from where she was. So we then drove 20 miles to the location for this item. When I arrived I was told they did not have it. No empathy. Rude, not very customer oriented, more interested in working at the desk area behind the counter or doing whatever maintenance they seem to be busying themselves with. Also, when there is a crowd, there is often only one cashier so there is quite a lengthy wait in a long line to check out. Also one particular guy, named Jim, actually argues with anyone with any kind of wine knowledge at their monthly wine tastings, and not in a tactful way either, more like condescending. Take your patience when you go in there! By the way, just down the way a little to the east on Commons Drive there is Chan's Wine World, which has a Large selection and also sells liquor. My husband and I shop ABC liquor store all of the time. We where excited when they opened the Destin location. The staff treat us like family and always go out of their way to help us with new selections of wine etc... Recently my husband lost his expensive sunglasses. We thought they where gone forever. However, one of the staff employees "Karen" happened to find them a week later. She went out of her way to take care of us. Sad to say, but most would have just kept them. This was one of our family's favorite liquor stores to come to in Destin. We missed the sign that said you have to be 21 and older to come in and our niece and our daughter's friend were 20. My husband and I are almost 50 and my brother in law who was with us is 52. We had two of our daughters who were 24 and 21 with us and the lady followed us around the store like we were criminals. She told our 21 year old to leave because she was "conversing" with the 20 year old and she told my brother in law she wasn't going to sell to him because he was "conversing" with his 20 year old daughter. Then then turned to my husband and said if you are buying for them I can't sell to you. He said, "I am 47 and I am buying for myself". She stood over us and watched as we paid. I could go on and on about how rude she was, but why bother. My recommendation is to stop people at the door and ask their age and explain the policy. I am all about adhering to the law and store policies, but I don't appreciated being treated as poorly as my family was treated in this store. Regardless, we won't ever go back and we should have just left and went to another store instead of supporting a company that hires people like that girl. read more
