Poor communication between driver instructor and my daughter. When she created a drive test appointment, she mentioned it would be on Thursday but she failed to let me know what time the appointment was scheduled. After trying to reach her through several calls and texts, I decided to look for the appointment on the DMV website myself. I found the appointment time but at this point, she was double booked and couldn't be there for the drive test and couldn't attend the driving test. Abc driving school helped me pass my behind the wheel test. Suk was a good instructor, she's not very patient but she will motivate you to do better. Ask for Laddi!! I had a wonderful experience with Laddi as my driving instructor, had extremely limited experience of driving in India before we moved to the US. Signed up with ABC Driving School and Laadi was my instructor. He is a seasoned trainer. Just one class for 2 hours proved more than sufficient for me to clear the DMV Behind the wheel test in my first attempt. I would highly recommend you specifically ask for Laddi and you will not be disappointed, he is very helpful and will ensure you become a safe driver and pass your test. read more

If you like your instructor being mean to you while you try and learn how to drive, go to this driving school. Had 3 lessons with Sukh (I think that's her name; she's also the owner of this school) and the first 2 were tolerable even though she can still be pretty short-tempered if you make mistakes, but the 3rd (and my last one) lesson just took the cake with her unhelpful raising of voice when I make mistakes. I'm a student driver, you're supposed to TEACH me. Also, I booked my second lesson only to find out the same day when I called her that she forgot about it. She's also on her phone talking to her friends most of the time during my lessons. So unprofessional. read more

Sukh was an amazing teacher who provides a variety of times for your lessons. She was very patient and allows the student to grow in their driving skills while also guiding them appropriately. Thanks to her driving lesson right before my test, I was able to calm my nerves. The route she took me on multiple times was the route I ended up taking. She made me into the driver I am today. The best driving school I have ever had. When I first started to drive, I met Laddi. He is a nice guy and he taught me everything about the rules of driving, especially on the road. Laddi also taught me how to do some parking and I can even find a space that has room or whenever there is a shade. I sometimes park on curb. In addition, Laddi taught me how to drive on a freeway. He said that I like to move it when driving on a freeway, but I need to be careful. I was practicing with Laddi, and it went very good. I keep on practicing until I went for a driven test. I took the driven test on my first attempt and I passed. With a great success, I can drive my mother and my brother anywhere in a local community. I can even drive independently! Every time I drive anywhere, I am always a safe driver. I know that Laddi is a very nice guy because he is smart and kind. read more

Was it cheap? Yes. Did I pass my driving test on the first try? Yes. Did I almost die during the driving school process? Yes, indeed. So I was terrified to start driving. My mom had illegally taken me out driving before my first driver's training classes so that I would get more comfortable behind the wheel. That was the only thing that saved my life. My driver's training instructor just snacked the entire time we were driving and didn't assist at all. I was on my own on the roads, freeways and turns. It was terrifying. One time, we actually stopped by my instructor's home so that she could pick up more food to snack on. Maybe that's why I'm always eating and driving. It's what I learned. read more

Sukh is a very good driving instructor. She helped me clear my test. She has very good road sense and knows exactly what mistakes will a student make while the driving test. She will make you understand those mistakes and take you on the all the routes that the dmv examiner will take you. She will not sugarcoat her words when you make a mistake. She will always correct you on your mistakes, Some people might consider her rude but for me it was like get corrected by my mom :) . Best driving school , instructor taught me everything I needed to know and helped me pass with full points.

I don't have other driving schools to compare from since this was the only place I've had lessons with (which is why I give it 3 stars, not 2 stars because this is my only driving school experience)...but since I've failed twice already, I knew I needed to take "driving" lessons. Each lesson for about a hour is about $60. I paid with a check at the end of the lesson. I feel it's a bit pricey for the service I'm getting...but it's still one of the cheaper driving lessons. The training instructor basically chills next to you and let's you drive around the tested routes. He really don't give much input...but he was chill lol, but then he complained about giving him a check and not straight up cash which I personally thought was rude...it's like I'm still paying you...why do you have so much input -__-" I failed a third time, even with their help. Their "help" wasn't really all that insightful. Since they don't really give much tips. They do let you drive their car during the test and they take you to the test...but the car they provided me with is helllluh janky. I guess if you're in a desperate need to know what the tested routes are for the Fremont DMV tests, you can pay them for that...but other than the benefit of knowing the routes...I've gained nothing from this school. read more

Overall the ABC driving school was good. The driving instructors are a married couple an the owners. they are both very calm and patient with you. They also really know how to keep up the conversation to make you feel really comfortable and relaxed while driving. Very very friendly people and they are very affordable compared to their competitors. I was able to book my hours right after another so I got it done quickly. They always come right on time but will sometimes move your appointment ahead if you're not busy and someone else cancels. The only thing that I thought could use some improving was the instructions bc they didn't give too much of it. I passed on my first try but that was also due to practicing with my parents as well for a couple weeks. read more

I actually didn't believe I could pass until I started taking her classes and she showed me pointers I never considered before. She can also help schedule your test for you and right before your test she will drive with you for two hours before taking you to the DMV so that you're 100% prepared. Ooooh I went here! It was cheaper than other places. I didn't really like the old cars they had, but I guess it was ok for the low price. I did learn how to drive way better thanks to them. The only thing I didn't like was how one time my instructor was on his phone a lot while I was driving. He was texting, making calls, playing games or I don't know what he was doing, but he was on the phone for quite a while. It was kinda funny though lol. read more

Each of my daughters did not complain about their lesson each of my daughters were picked up on time the prices were very reasonable and I use the driving school to have the girls take their DMV test with saves me a bunch of trouble at a reasonable cost that is priceless and they all pass the test I highly recommend it don't expect too much just expect lessons to be taught read more

I am the third sibling to come through this school. Not Bc I am the youngest but because I was so scared to drive for the past 6 years(LOL). But the lady here is the best teacher. She tells you everything you need to know and is such a sweet lady as well. I started lessons roughly 2 weeks ago(May 1) and I just passed my DMV behind the wheel test today(May 12th). From being deathly afraid to even put the car into drive to being licensed within 2 weeks is a crazy thing. She really taught me a lot and helped me with everything I needed to know and practice as well!! She's been doing this for the past 20+ years and I can definitely see why!! If you or any family members(literally ive seen 16 year olds to like 60 year olds being taught by her) need to learn how to drive and have someone be with you every step of the way until you get ur license, this is the place for you!! I am a sixteen-year-old girl and I just took my driver's test for the first time and I passed! I find this driving school really nice. My instructor, Sukh, is a really nice lady, if you need to fix something she will tell you. She will also give you tips whenever possible, and they helped a lot for the test. She also talks to you and makes conversation so the two hour drive isn't boring at all. I recommend this driving school. read more

It was okay. I really only took two lessons. The guy is patient and a good instructor, and knows his stuff and the rules of the road well, but he has an accent that can be a little hard to understand, and his instructions got a little confusing for me sometimes, so I'd just be nodding along. I didn't pass my driving test when I took it so you surely need more than two lessons. The school was recommended to me by my boyfriend, and he's a fantastic driver, but I just found the lessons sort of confusing and they didn't leave me with much. I feel like other people would really like him, though. read more
