Like everyone else when you have decided to take the next step into chasing your dream career in…read moretrucking the search in CDL schools begins . First I did my online research, The Bay Area has a couple of options but the reviews from people's personal experiences weren't the best. (It's preferable to not mention those schools.) On the other hand I personally got informed about a instructor by the name of Bladimir. This close friend told me he was his instructor from 10+ yrs ago and the Owner/Instructor of "SchoolOfTrucking", a one man show. I sent him a message and he personally gave me a call back. My overall experience with School of Trucking was spectacular. Bladimir brings a good spirit every morning with motivational vibes. Not only that but he is very knowledgeable and I picked up on how patient he was with each and every one of us. As a graduate from "SchoolOfTrucking", I recommend anyone who is interested in getting their Commercial driver's license to give him a call and take the time to meet him. There won't be any second thoughts about going elsewhere. A thought to keep in mind when choosing the right school for yourself is the more students you have in one class the less attention there will be for each and every one of you.

As a parent, safety is my biggest concern, and I wanted to make sure my daughters understood how to drive safely, so I decided to try one lesson with East Bay Driving School. They told me they learned more in one lesson with East Bay Driving School than they did in three lessons with the other school. That really impressed me. The instructors helped build their confidence and understanding of the road. Now that my youngest needs driving lessons, I came back to East Bay Driving School without hesitation. Their customer service is excellent, they are responsive, and they communicate in a timely manner. I highly recommend East Bay Driving School to any parent looking for a driving school that genuinely cares about teaching students to be safe and confident drivers. As a parent, knowing my kids are learning the right way gives me peace of mind!

After the second one she was able to drive on the highway. The third session was used to practice routes that a typical DMV behind the wheel test does.. that was helpful to understand and I was able to take my daughter a few more times to practice before the actual exam day. At the end, her driving test was successful and she was able to get the license. We will definitely recommend the school as the owner, Sheri, is very responsive and they offer weekend classes too.

This was a very expensive signature for his permit to make it legal. I don't recommend this agency.

First, family members tried to teach me and that wasn't the most helpful unfortunately because there really isn't anything like getting practice behind the wheel with a professional. Then, I went through another driving school in the bay and I did not receive merely as much help. Finally, I took a lesson with ADS, instructor Elton and he was a very calm, helpful, professional that gave me all the skills prior to the behind the wheel test. He's someone who has helped a wide range of people pass, he exposed me to a very similar simulation to the exam, and explained my errors with practice tests to give me a feel for the actual exam. Truly, my moneys worth! After one try at the DMV, I passed!

Now it was our Son's turn to learn to drive, and of course we turned to Tiarra. Since he is over 18, professional instruction wasn't mandated by the DMV, but we wanted him to learn confidence and safe driving practices. Tiarra was a great teacher for our son, even though he is very different from his sister. Again, Tiarra was great with a nervous new driver, and I could see his confidence increase after each lesson. Again, she communicated clearly and proactively, and was rock solid reliable.

I had a few lessons with him and it was 100% worth it. I have a lot of driving anxiety and test anxiety, and he gave feedback in a way that didn't make me feel worse. Driving started to feel doable, which I did not expect tbh! I hadn't taken a driving test in over 20 years, but I did it! I passed! I have a driver's license now!! I spent years renewing my permit and trying to build confidence but it wasn't happening. Especially because practicing with a spouse or family member is... difficult (iykyk).
