A go-to for us whenever we're at Hollywood Studios this place serves classic burger and chicken dishes. I found that the menu has actually greatly improved since the last time I've been here probably in a year. The burgers and chicken are tasty and juicy while the fries are actually specially seasoned. They also have dishes like ribs, veggie burgers, and salads if you're looking for something different. Disney as a whole seems to be trying out this technology with little buzzer like devices that allows them to track you within the venue so that they can bring your food to you rather than having everyone crowd the counter. This also lets you look for a spot to sit while you wait. Since it can get Extremely crowded during peak times this is a welcome change. I would also highly recommend using the mobile ordering feature they've introduced to their My Disney Experience App. You can order on the go, let them know once you get there, and then directly find a place to sit. Definitely saves you a lot of time and hassle! As with most things in Disney it's a little pricey for just simple burgers and fries but if you're looking to save money you can always order kids meals. While at Hollywood Studios, there are so many options for dining. I am very picky though and even when at a theme park, try to eat healthy and well. I found that at ABC Commissary. As with all venues on Disney property, ABC Commissary has a TV or broadcast station like theme - hence the "ABC" - and with that, we had televisions with fun clips playing all throughout the meal, which for me, and was great, consisted of a nice thick piece of grilled salmon, quinoa rice and steamed veggies. Could I have done any better and for such a modest price? Heck no! The others in our party enjoyed as well having a cheeseburger that was cooked well, fish and chips that was flaky and tender, and a sizable chicken salad, that was nicely and freshly made. So yes, you can eat well and for a decent price even while on property at theme parks. Give it a go and enjoy. read more

Pretty basic theme park type food with a cafeteria vibe. Blah and bland. The kind of place you run into to grab lunch when it starts raining out as happened to us one of the days we were here recently. The place is really large with plenty of seating. Good AC. Some really long lines as it seems like every family on a dining plan with their annoying gaggle of kids are in this place. More or less you are treated to a menu of theme park fast food options here so be prepared to eat high-fat and high-calorie. American, Asian, British and Indian fast food choices. Cheeseburger with fries. Burger was ok, but fries were not crispy enough for my liking. With so many other better dining options around the park avoid this one unless really necessary. To look at they have movie trailers playing on TV screens, and film posters from Hollywood past and present on the walls. Kind of an art-deco decor. This is a decent spot for a quick bite to eat. Its a quick service restaurant, unlike the majority of eateries in Disney. I can recommend the burger and fries, but the carrot cake was subpar. It was in a witch cupcake form though, so that was cool. As a side I liked the yogurt parfait. You can also get apple slices instead of fries. A minor victory in the battle against weight gain from the terrific food in Disney World. Gotta take those small victories! read more

This is a cafeteria style restaurant that is SERIOUSLY lacking in crowd flow management. The system (or lack thereof) in place between ordering your food, picking it up, and finding a table is FAILING miserably and they really need to do something about it to get people in and out of here quicker. The line moves fairly quickly to order your food but once you do that you are stuck in a line next to other lines while you wait for the food runner to gather your things and hand them to you at the counter. As soon as you get your food you turn around and there is NO WHERE TO GO. They have no exit lines for you to get out and find a table. Once you manage to get out without bumping in to someone and dropping your whole tray you will find - there are no tables to sit at!! They are all being occupied by people 'saving' tables for those still in the line for food. This system could be GREATLY improved if they didn't allow you to 'save' tables, and they had someone that could walk you to an open table. As far as the food, the salmon salad was actually very good. It's tossed in the dressing but I didn't think they put too much on it. The burgers were also pretty good. I would recommend this restaurant but just remember to exercise paitence while waiting for your food and looking for a table. read more

One of the few order and find your own table places. I am so glad I did not get the steak... It's a well done thin piece of meat, my family got it. It didn't even taste that great. The butter was good... I got the Bacon Cheese Burger. It's just a regular Bacon Cheese burger, nothign special, not worth the over 12 dollars I spent. I should have just gone out to eat somewhere else. The MCD Bacon burger is almost as good and half the price or less. Special note: If you find the pop corn cart around here, near the Star Wars stage, you can get a BB8 Sippy mug, it's 15 bucks but it is the coolest souvenir mug I have seen. Honestly, it's probably one of the better deals in the entire park, and the food is pretty solidly good which is occasionally not so true outside of Epcot. The menu has both healthy and not so healthy options, portions are big enough to sustain people who have been running around like mad since the park gates opened, and the lines move pretty fast. The biggest issue is that staff concentrates [logically so] on making and delivering food to tables and not cleaning... and there are some real slobs that come in. Personally, I'm not going to spill things and not clean up after myself, but other people are less courteous, so be careful selecting your seat. read more

Stopped into the ABC Commissary on a busy wed afternoon. We had to wait about 10 min to finally get to the cashier and order but once we got that done, we had our food within a min or two. Finding a seat was a challenge because so many people grab a table and then hold it for their group that is still in line. So what do those people with food in their hands do? This was the only problem I had with ABC. They should have a seater who can keep people from taking up all the tables when they are not ready to eat. The food was fine. I know some here have complained about the food but we had the hamburger and the curry. Both were good and were up to Disney standards. We spent a total of about 30 min having lunch. I would say to try to get seating at some of the other places in the park but if they are all full up, then this would be a good place for some decent theme park food! read more

I usually would take a picture but we were so famished as soon as the plates hit the table we dug in. It was hot and fresh especially being convenience food. My burger was a lot better than any burger that I had in the other Disney parks and even at my Disney resort. The fries were solid and they have an unlimited supply of ketchup and mayo at your disposal. My mom's curry was also pretty food. The only problem here was an incident that I had involving who I believe was a Chinese Disney cast member that was on his day off. He kept trying to talk to another Chinese cast member that was working behind the counter in the kitchen area. In his attempt to try to talk to a girl, he spilled his hot water all over me and looked like he didn't even want to apologize for what he did. I have to say this is very unprofessional and disappointing. From one Asian to another, have some class when you're trying to talk to a girl - especially when the poor girl is WORKING. read more

Being in Disney, one thing I am reminded of are "when and when not" to eat at a restaurant. My friends and family decided to eat at the ABC Commissary. Like nose venues at Disney, order your food and wait wait for it. We came in at the lunchtime rush, and boy did the place get crowded. There wasn't enough room for people to even stand after they ordered their food. Once things get that crazy, manners in general tend to break down. The other half of our party had to scout out and claim a table/ we had a party of nine, it was irritating to see smaller parties take up larger tables so they could "spread out" with their electric scooters an such. The food was decent, had to keep going back to the counter for things like dressing and such. I do not recommend that ANYONE go here during the lunch hour rush if you are claustrophobic. read more

This is a place I've been to several times before, but not in the past few years, so reading the Yelp reviews prior to this trip was extremely discouraging, but I'm glad I decided to try it again, anyway. Since we were celebrating my son's birthday, I wanted to spend most of my money on him, not my food! He's four, so he didn't really care where we ate, especially since we took him to Pizza Planet earlier in the day! I ended up ordering the bacon cheeseburger here with a side of fries (that can be substituted for apples and something else I can't remember). All in all, it wasn't terrible. I mean, I'm not sure what other people are expecting and thinking when they write their reviews, but I definitely wasn't expecting a fancy, gourmet burger. It's a theme park and as a central Floridian almost my whole life, it's safe to say I'm pretty familiar with theme park food. Yes, for the same price elsewhere, you can get a way better burger, but inflated prices for simple fast food is just part of the experience. I really wanted to try the salmon with quinoa pilaf and my husband wanted to try the steak, but we didn't want to be hugely disappointed and decided not to take that gamble. The burgers felt like a safe bet. The burgers were so big and we both had so many fries that we couldn't even finish, so we left full and satisfied! If you want to pay $20-$30 per meal to see if you can get a better meal elsewhere, totally do so! If you're trying to watch your pennies without leaving the park to eat, come here! Decided to eat here after starving all day and asking a cast member what she recommended. The boyfriend ordered the 1/3 lb Angus Cheeseburger with fries and I got the Chicken Blue with fries. You pay first and then wait in line for them to bring your order up to the counter. My Chicken Blue was okay, I couldn't really taste the bleu cheese and fries were also just meh. My boyfriend thought his cheeseburger was good though but not filling enough for him. It's a good place to sit down since the interior is pretty big with lots of seating. Although pricey, the chicken and rib combination platter was very good. Both meats were extremely tender and flavorful. I also tried their happy daze adult beverage which was great! The pineapple coconut orange blend was refreshing with a pinch. There is indoor air conditioned seating which is invaluable during Florida's hot months. What a horrible experience I had at this place! We wanted to get a quick meal before heading to see Fantasmic. We came in to this restaurant, which is like a fast food joint, got on line , ordered to go, and this is when things went downhill. We had to wait a long time for our food, to the point where the cashier had to come and ask what was going on. We were then brought trays with plates with food, when we said it was to go they pretty much threw to go containers at us. It doesn't sound like much of an issue, but their attitude was horrendous. It was almost like we got there when everybody was already at the end of their ropes and we were just a huge bother. I even expressed how rude they were being (and it was several people, not just one person) and they just didn't care. It was the end of the day, I was also tired, granted from different reasons, but the last thing I want is to be treated like I am being a nuisance. The food wasn't good. A really good quick service place to eat that's family friendly. It has seating indoors with air conditions. Service is pretty quick. Usually offers a burger, salad, chicken and chicken fingers as their variety with some desserts and kids meals as well as French fries. Tables can be pushed together if necessary and condiments are easily accessible, including ketchup, mayo, mustard, honest mustard and BBQ sauce to pump into cups. I am a Miami girl. I came here this past weekend and as soon as I stepped inside, it was an immediate relief from the cold tundra of 47 degree weather. I am personally not a big fan of Disney food (except Epcot). For the most part, the restaurants have pretty bland tasting food. Pretty much like anything you would get from a regular theme park. In deciding where to go, I came across this place and the first thing that caught my eye were the decorations outside. I thought it was cool how they had banners of television shows hanging from the building and decided to go inside and see what it looked like. They have props in glass cases from different shows, which are pretty cool, especially if you are a fan. The food was not half bad either. I ordered the chicken club sandwich and was pleasantly surprised that it exceeded my Disney World food expectations. The chicken was grilled and had a good flavor, and the fries were seasoned well. They were crisp and warm... Just what I needed in that weather. It came with a side of coleslaw which was pretty tasty. I also ordered an Americano coffee, which was pretty strong and flavorful. A good jolt to get me through the rest of the day. The park has a way of wearing one out. If you are in Hollywood Studios and on the fence about where you should dine, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. The food is good, the prices are decent (considering the other surrounding restaurants), and the service is pretty standard. Not great, but not bad either. For a park that has made huge strides with its food, this cattle grazing pen needs a huge overhaul of its high fat, greasy low quality menu. Especially in a park where indoor, AC eateries are as rare as an Emmy for The Bachelorette, they could get the food to be worthy of the space. read more
