The service is okay, depending on who takes and makes your order. One day, I ordered a 20-ounce iced cold brew, but they gave me the wrong size, which was annoying. Will the walk-in, take-out cafe do? Well, it depends if you want just to grab something for your room or sitting in the lobby, or do you want something more sit down, or just grab your car or ride share to take a 15-minute drive to Disney Springs. It works for convenience, and you'll be caffeinated at least. But it comes at a cost.

They had a lot of different themed blends with really nice packaging, and honestly I wanted to buy more, but it's hard to justify grabbing multiple bags at that price when you don't know if you'll actually like them. One thing I noticed was that the coffee was only available pre-ground in store, with no whole bean option. I asked one of the employees and they confirmed that whole bean coffee is only available online. I brewed this in a French press. The bag mentions notes of apple, caramel, and cinnamon. I could definitely smell it while drinking the coffee, especially the apple and cinnamon, but I didn't really taste them all that much in the actual coffee. However, it was very easy to drink. This was much lighter than the coffees I normally drink, with almost no bitterness. Nothing fancy, just a smooth cup of coffee that was enjoyable to drink black. One thing I wish Joffrey's offered was a way to try the coffees before committing to a bag. With so many different blends, it would be nice if they had sample jars of the grounds to smell, small tasting samples, or even brewed versions of the specialty blends available to order. Instead, they only had a limited selection of roasts and teas available for take out. A lot of the bags sound interesting, but you're mostly buying based on the description and hoping for the best. Overall, I enjoyed this one and would consider picking up another bag on a future Disney trip. The next blends I'd be interested in trying are Snow White's Just One Bite, Daisy Duck Lavender, and Tiana's Bayou Beignet.

But, as the Aerosmith Roller Coster will make way for the new Muppets home, Carousel Coffee has made its new home at The Boardwalk Hotel. I see Disney making these quick Grab & Go spots in other hotels. The Riviera has a similar concept coffee spot. My wife and I woke up and trust me, the last thing you want to do is drink coffee at a Disney park. Yuckko! (Is that even a word?) It was nice to get our coffee at Carousel Coffee, sit in the lobby and just take it all in. The Boardwalk hotel is an iconic hotel for us, I can still see my mom with my kids looking at the gingerbread house. Wearing the Boardwalk DVC sweatshirt I bought her at the gift shop. Now, all I can do is pour myself a coffee and ask for a DVC discount. Which Carousel Coffee does not offer!

There was one with maybe some kind of cream and strawberries, and that was our favorite. My friend got the croissant that went viral; it is huge, about a foot long at least and half dipped in chocolate. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely worth a stop if the line isn't out the door, since it moves fairly quickly.

We tried to come here on a Saturday around 10am and there was a line so we returned Sunday at 7:30am. No line, but we had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. They may have been waiting on more staff since half the restaurant was empty. Our food was fine but on par with Denny's or Perkins. My potatoes were slightly undercooked and warm at best. Worst part: we came here to use a gift card since we're moving out of the country in three days. Sorry, our machine isn't taking gift cards at this time so just use it next time. We told the manager it only had $10 and she said there was nothing she could do. I found a local couple on our way out and gave it to them. I would not recommend Keke's even without the gift card situation.

I enjoy sitting at the counter with my kids and interacting with the friendly waitstaff while watching the hustle in the kitchen. The atmosphere is bright with an adorable rustic farm theme. They offer patio seating as well. Great addition to the Celebration area!

There's plenty of parking - usually you can find a close by spot as the restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch I believe. We've gone twice and were seated quickly. Staff have been friendly and on top of things both times we've gone. I tried the chocolate chip pancake and added a side of scrambled eggs and bacon with it on my first order. Pancake is large enough to share or split between multiple meals. I thought the texture was good, the chocolate chips were a bit too sweet for my liking. The scrambled eggs were okay - maybe a little off cooking-wise but the bacon was crispy. Second time I did the all-American sandwich with eggs, bacon, and swapped out the American for cheddar cheese, with the biscuit as the sandwich. This was very good and the right amount of food. Prices were reasonable and timing for the food was good. They really try to get the food out quickly, which is great.

In the late evening, I wanted a snack and stopped by to get a cup of fresh fruit. In the mornings, I stopped by for my energy drink and banana. I didn't get anything from their kitchen, but some of the guests said their soup and sandwiches were very good. The customer service is lacking, and I did not include them in my five stars. The morning staff was a bit better than the evening. The evening staff had the attitude of "just doing their job"; when it came to being warm and friendly, they were very dry. The store itself is really appreciated!

Several times during the evenings, we decided to grab some snacks and food from Citrus 28. It wasn't too far from the Hotel elevators to our room on the 16th floor. This ended up as one of those super convenient locations that really delivered way beyond my expectations as a hotel quick service café. The layout is a hybrid of a grab and go market and a casual café. Coffee, pastries, snacks, sandwiches, pizza, breakfast bowls, and other quick grabs with many options prior to going off to the parks or after a long day at Disney. I did see this area was very busy especially during morning hours, however, the lines were moving much quicker than I would have thought! The thing that really jumped out at me was how much better the quality of the food was compared to your average hotel convenience store. Many of their menu items are made fresh to order and there seemed to be quite an assortment of items to choose from as well! It's the type of location where you can quickly get something and feel like you're getting something satisfying rather than grabbing something from a vending machine! One of the trips inside Citrus 28, I ended up getting their Philly Cheesesteak! It was delicious! It had plenty of beef and cheese. The bread was a sesame bun! It was great for a quick meal. One of the other evenings, we got some ice cream from Citrus 28! I thought Citrus 28 was a solid option if you're staying at Buena Vista Palace or nearby. It's quick, convenient, and surprisingly good for hotel dining. Definitely one of those places that makes early mornings or late evenings easier if you're looking for snacks or food!
