Anyways, I always count on this place for snow salt for the last couple of winters since I moved in the area, in fact, I just got myself a 50 lb bag (my go to would be the white pellets). Friendly people, helpful, very knowledgeable, and honest. Best local place to go if doing your own paint job, they also carry a small selection of basic hardware needs.

The store is a bit cramped but it is very well stocked with hardcore plumbing and electrical stuff as well as houseware. This is my go to place if I didn't want to drive to Home Depot or Lowe's just for a simple repair piece. I usual wind up exploring the whole store whenever I drop by for a purchase. The old man owner is very knowledgeable and always helpful. The packed shelves offer the you the opportunity to see, touch and find what you are looking to buy; unlike the larger neighborhood lumber stores where one feels intimidated for not knowing the jargon. Moderate prices, large selection, and knowledgeable help is what makes this store an asset to the neighborhood.

So was looking to get some paint and remembered seeing this store when exiting train station. It's really convenient to have this store so close. Instead of using big box store. Support local businesses! First purchase was paint for my bedroom. They have color samples right when you walk in door. And after you choose your preferred color card. Go to counter, there is usually a line. Counter guys are really knowledgeable and helpful. Just don't be an ass! Store is full of everything for your house and home. Anyway counter guy got the right tint base and mixed color into base. The paint they carry is Valspar. Haven't painted yet lol. Price for 1 gallon tinted was approx $55. Oh btw before purchasing I checked prices. And was reasonable compared to online costs. Online doesn't offer 100s of color choices. Recently needed some touch up paint for my parents home. And can was 31.5 oz at $20 with tinted base. Will be using this store for all my basic home needs. The store is open Monday to Saturday 7 AM to 5 PM.

Even if they had it nobody at Home Depot would bother to check. I called on the phone and the person who answered was very helpful and polite. I explained the part and he said he thought he had it. When I came to the store and showed the washer. He asked if I called on the telephone and I said yes. His name was Ray and it took him all of 1 minute and he came back with the correct washer. When I asked how much it was he said $1. I was a little embarrassed as I ran out of the house without any money so I asked if I could use my credit card. He smiled and said don't worry about it! That's so rare today and I said I will be back for other things and will give him the $1 as a matter of principle. It so happens I went to a bakery across the street that only took cash so I went to an ATM, made a withdrawal and stopped back to pay Ray. He also helped me with a kitchen cabinet hinge which I was surprised that they had. The store is large, carries a great selection of plumbing supplies, including, toilets, tile, faucets and just about everything you can think of. I read the one other review on the business and was surprised Richard gave them only 3 stars which may have been because of the news network they play. REALLY?? Everyone spoke perfect English, was welcoming, friendly and eager to help. The price look good and high would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. I will definitely be back.

The man behind the counter was happy to point me in the right direction to find what I needed as well as answer my questions. He didn't hover over me or try to sell me things I didn't need, and when I came to the counter he even offered me a less expensive product that he felt was better performing! Their paint samples section has a chair and table where you can sit and plan your color schemes and it's near a window so you can view the samples in natural light. I would definitely recommend this small local store to a friend over the big chain stores like Home Depot any day!

My visit on 1/30/24 was unsuccessful and unpleasant. This is a local shop that I hoped would carry…read morepaint (gold color) that I needed for a small project. The owner?/man led me to the back of the store and plucked a small can of gold paint from the shelf and returned to the front. I remained in the back to browse for another color before returning to the front with a can of red paint. The man then presented me with a screwdriver coated in the gold paint, but the color seemed diluted: gold flecks suspended in a clear liquid, like it had been mixed with thinner or solvent. I asked if he could open the red can also, so I could see whether the 2 went well together. He said he would be glad to, once I paid for it. I declined the purchase of both cans, not understanding why he had opened the gold can (and even dipped a screwdriver into it, unasked) but refused to pry open the lid of the red one. Perhaps, I surmise, this can was also old and "expired"? Then he said he could tell I was like all other Chinese people who entered his shop, peppered him with questions, wasting his time and never making a purchase. I promptly removed myself, not wanting to take up another second of his time.
