This MAC store is located on the top level of Galerias Hipódromo to the left when ascending the…read moreelaborate grand central stairs which is the focal point of the mall leading to Cinépolis Movie Theater. The shop is very small but has splashes of color to accent its vibe inside. There were 2 male workers inside and 1 shop girl who attended to me. No one spoke English so fortunately with my poquito espagnol, we were able to communicate fairly decently to purchase what I needed... Fresh Moracan Lipstick... the very last one in the store! She quoted me $15 USD so I pulled out 3 5 dollar bills and handed it to her. When she rang me up, I was pleasantly surprised because it actually rang up being 252.92 in Mexican pesos with the exchange rate of 18 for the day and $13.44 USD so she gave me back a dollar and two quarters. They didn't have nickels dimes or pennies so I had to take the hit of 6 cents! Womp womp womp! But I left happy since that saved me about $5 or so more than if I purchased it in the US. The curiously confusing aspect of the transaction however was the receipt! SEARS!!! Did Sears buy out MAC and keep it a secret in the US? Anyway, it's a cute MAC store with cute MAC products. The store is inviting, clean and nice to shop in. The attendants were all very nice, helpful and welcoming. I was the only one in the shop so I had the attention of ALL the workers. Didn't bother me. I'm not a thief. I handle my business professionally and efficiently so if you don't mind that, i can't wait to come back to shop for more. I'm not sure if they do makeovers and such as I only saw cosmetics for sale on two cabinet display tables. They are open every day from 11am-9am. Parking is available in the huge mall garage of Galerias Hipódromo. As Arnold said famously in THE TERMINATOR... "I'll be back!"

Upon writing…read morethis review I assume that this S & J Hair location is the same owner as the store in the Microplaza off of Insurgentes and so if it is not please feel free to correct me. For anyone who would be a customer be warned that they have no return policy. All sales are final and they will refuse to refund or exchange unless there was some sort of mistake on their part. Whatever that is supposed to mean. The other day my wife and I purchased some hair creams on behalf of her mother. Although it was the right brand it was unfortunately the wrong type. Upon returning to exchange the item we were discourteously greeted with an older lady who refused to make the exchange and flat out told us it's not her fault my wife picked the wrong type and so she's not gonna make the exchange. My wife even asked if it was a question of price differences, provided her the receipt, and told her if it was a question she would pay the difference. The woman flat out refused and with her sour disposition sent us on our way. Now I know that every business wants to make a buck, but it is important to understand that in the course of scrounging for a few dollars, and not satisfying your customer, you risk alienating them and guaranteeing they will not come back to your store. Yes we picked the wrong cream, but this little annoying bit of unprofessional attitude your business has shown guarantees you that we will not be returning to make any purchase anytime in the future. You have made a few pesos off of us, but you've lost thousands of pesos of any future purchases we would've made at your establishment. We will be visiting your competitors in the future, and we're gonna make sure everyone we know in Tijuana who might want to shop in your store won't. Good luck...
