While the job was initially just beam repair and shimming, the extremely professional and efficient 3-person crew ended up putting extra piers in and strengthening the foundation, not merely repairing it. All at a slightly higher, though much less than expected, cost. Throughout the 2-day job, the crew kept us informed of the work and was extremely careful with each installation, making sure to level the foundation without causing more than small above-ground cracks. I was very happy with the work and the team sent. Would recommend highly.

*So proud of every crack. Shows me how much work they did to make my house straight and sound…read moreagain.* :) These guys are great. I waited a month after they came, just to make sure that they were the real thing. Everyone from the sales staff to the guys digging the foundation were really nice. They kept everything clean, and picked up all their tools, trash, and cleaned up all the mud (and there was lots of mud). A bit of history. My husband and I bought a 1937 house in a historic district 2 years ago. We knew that, even though the house had been cosmetically restored, there were pretty severe foundation issues. When our back door no longer would open, I started reaching out to every foundation company I could find. No one called me back. I was floored. I emailed, called again, texted,... nothing. Not one response. Then EcoScape called. I wondered how they had gotten my info, but knew that in my own desperation I surely put my name out on the web asking for anyone to call. Matt showed up right on time, clean, presentable, and friendly. He took thorough measurements and presented all options. He even mentioned gutters, which we pounced on, as our slate roof had none and it was the main cause of our foundation issues. The team showed up the first day and started right in. Those guys can dig! Before you knew it all of the holes were dug. The next day posts went in and they leveled the house. I have attached pictures so you can see how off our house was. Serving as a warning to not renovate your house before getting your house strait. I am happy about every crack as it shows me my house is now on the level. Doors open and you no longer have that uneasy feeling of walking downhill in your own home. Now let's talk about the fabulous gutters. Living in a historic district I knew if the gutters weren't done well I would have the scorn of the association to deal with. The gutter guys came in on the first day of the foundation dig and measured the house and made a plan. On the day after the foundation was done they came in, and in a blur of men and aluminum, we had perfect gutters. The color matched our roof line perfectly, and they look very classy. All in all, super pleased with everything. Would highly reccomend.

I called Ryan with Firm Foundation to help us with a retaining wall. We were wanting it put up…read moreafter finishing our backyard pool project. My husband, whose family is in the masonry business, was skeptical before meeting with him. But boy oh boy did Ryan know what he is talking about. My husband was convinced our side yard which was a pretty steep "hill" could not be flattened out, which is what I wanted. We were building a pool and have 2 boys that needed a place to run and that side yard was all we had left after putting that pool in. Ryan came up with an amazing plan. And we were both so happy with how that yard and wall turned out. Simply stunning! The pool company was terrible and wasn't really willing to work with Ryan and his schedule. But Ryan was very patient with us and them. They kept pushing back the finish date. Which annoyed all of us, but Ryan never made us feel bad about it as it was not our fault. Oh and the pool company literally had no drainage plan except to put pop ups that would flow into the neighbors yard, which we were not ok with. And that was after begging for months to talk to us about the drainage. We asked Ryan if that's something they work with and he had a really great plan to us in just a few days. Needless to say we fired the pool company from the drainage portion of the project and that was the best decision we could have made. There have been zero problems with our drainage. Like nothing at all! It works perfectly everytime. And we never have to worry about that. And all the water gets directed straight to the curb and runs into the street, not our yard or the neighbors yards. The wall in the backyard that goes all the way to the front is gorgeous. When we ran into a potential problem with the last front portion of the wall, Ryan and his guys actually talked to us about it and we all made a decision together on the best move forward. It was such a nice change to have an owner of a company talk to us and work through a potential issue together. Unlike the pool company. (I do wish Ryan was in the pool business. If he was I know we would not be having the problems that we are having that pool company and trying to fix their mistakes.). But Ryan and his company delivered and went above and beyond what was necessary for a job. To summarize, if you need work on something that Ryan and his guys work on, hire them immediately!! They may not be the most affordable, but goodness you will not have any issues and that is worth its weight in gold!! They are worth every penny!! And in case you are wondering about his crew, they are totally awesome!!! Not only are they artists and I would say perfectionists in the best possible way, they were all very personable. They even allowed my boys to "help" which made them feel included and part of the project. I have never been happier with a house project in my life.
