I Trust Dr. Mingoia and his staff to the fullest. I had long-standing chronic back pain (4 years Marine Corps Infantry and 20 plus years as a Police Officer), Dr. Mingoia conducted two medical branch blocks to diagnose the pain. I can move around, stand for hours on in and most importantly play my Saturday morning pick up basketball games without any pain, or having to worry about dealing with the pain later on. I am a Bloomfield resident and I was thrilled when Advanced Wellness & Therapy Center opened a new Office here in Bloomfield. Dr. Mingoia, thank you for all your professionalism, knowledge and care for your patients.

The office manager came in and said they were towing a truck and asked if anybody owned a (black?) pickup truck. None of the patients had a black pickup truck and so none of us answered/we didn't respond when she said "we're going to tow a black pickup... before we do, we want to make sure it isn't a patients". Instead of towing just the black pickup truck, the office manager had them tow many cars, including paying customers that were currently receiving treatments. Afterwards, they came up with excuses and didn't offer any of us rides to the tow company which is NOT exactly a convenient walk away. If I had leg surgery and not shoulder surgery what would have happened then?! Note: You need a parking pass to park in their lot and I had my parking pass from the week before as this was the Monday after thanksgiving. Their lot was entirely full, and as a result, I waited for parking for over 30 minutes and was late to my appointment. I called their office manager after the 10th or so minute to notify her that I was waiting/told her the parking situation. She told me to just hurry and find parking as soon as I could in the lot and rush up. I asked if I should grab a new parking pass or if I could just leave my other/older one bc it was very recent and it had their companies name on it and I was in such a rush. She said it would be fine. I mean why wouldn't it be? They decide which cars get towed and which ones don't. Anyway, the tow truck driver towed me regardless of my pass from the previous week and told me that my pass wasn't up to date and was two days expired (thanksgiving weekend). I told him I was in the chiropractors office and he said he wouldn't refund me because they were the ones who called and told them to tow the cars. Dr Prete has not answered my many requests to be reimbursed for their error and I'm highly disappointed with a practice that I was fairly pleased with, up until the moment that they appeared in my eyes to be prioritizing money over ethics. Surely they were making more than $250 from my 40+ visits up in 4 months. I find it amazing that any company would make a paying customer/client suffer the consequences and cover the expenses of a mistake made by said company.

If you are considering chiropractic care, I highly recommend booking an appointment with Hudson…read moreFamily Chiropractic. Before coming here, I had never seen a chiropractor and had never even thought of chiropractic care as an option for my carpal tunnel. After years of seeing different doctors, no one had ever suggested it. It was only after a random conversation at a conference that I decided to explore it -- and honestly, I wish I had known sooner. My quality of life could have been so much better. From the moment you walk in, the office feels welcoming and well-run. The front desk team, including Lanisha, guides you through the process with warmth and professionalism. When I first started, they asked me to rate my pain, and I was at a miserable 9 out of 10. I began care with Dr. John Rotundo, who is kind, thoughtful, and excellent at what he does. I have also seen Dr. Michael Gazaleh and Dr. William Magill, and each of them has been incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive. I always feel like I am in capable hands. The stretching sessions with Kaya are also amazing and add another layer of relief and support. By the end of each session, my pain often drops from a 9 to about a 2. That kind of relief is hard to describe unless you have been living with chronic discomfort. I also did not realize chiropractic care could be helpful beyond carpal tunnel, including for issues like migraines and sinus discomfort. Even though my insurance does not cover all of my sessions, I plan to continue coming here out of pocket. The relief, care, and overall experience are absolutely worth it.
