He is pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and amenable. He helped make the reservations (I was calling in from out of state so renting sight unseen) and it went without a hitch. Also, upon my delivery date, I found I needed an additional storage unit and Steve arranged it on the spot. And I have worked with Steve a couple of times since I stored my stuff and he has been a real pleasure. The facilities are inside a large warehouse, so are climate controlled. The building is clean and very well maintained. It has sufficient space to navigate. And it is very secure. All entrances are gated and monitored and accessed by individualized key codes to be able to track who entered. There are cameras all over the place and recordings will help determine if there was unauthorized access. They have several dollies and wheeled vehicles available to enable your move. The only surprise was that my unit(s) are on the second floor, I had no idea storage units could be on the second floor. This helps keep my property even more secure, but it added a level of complexity to get the furniture out of the moving truck, into the elevator, out of the elevator and then into the storage unit. However, it all went well I highly recommend Aaron's Self Storage.

However after teaching it to multiple levels of employees for a "Texas based grocery company" for over 20 years, it is always a thrill to encounter those who do it so well. When a representative at one location completely dropped the ball and was incredibly rude and dismissive of me to an excessive degree, I posted that account here some time back. The owner responded quickly to my posted 1 star feedback with a sincere apology and a plan to salvage the relationship with me, his customer. His plan included a discounted rate for a period of time. When it was later discovered that I was still receiving the discount past the agreed upon period of time, as it was not updated in their system, the manager called me back w my new rate and start date... with NO MENTION of what it "should have been". Many managers can't help but elaborate in such situations, tooting their own horns and making the customer feel uncomfortable. Not here! Greg (not certain that was mgr's name) was professional, respectful, and even showed a bit of sense of humor. Nice job! There's no question of my choice of storage facilities for now and in the future. In addition, my friends have been made aware that this is a company with leaders who value their customers and focuson the big picture. Thanks, gentlemen!

Greg & Lee took great care of me for 2 1/2 years until I moved the majority of my stuff with me to DFW in January 2005. I rented my PENSKE truck from them and they worked to get me the absolutely best deal. I moved the small amount of stuff that I wasn't moving to DFW into a smaller storage unit that I kept until June of this year. Friday, I rented another PENSKE truck so that my parents could bring me the last of my furniture to Allen, they stayed late waiting on my dad to come get the truck on a Friday afternoon when we misunderstood the time we were supposed to pick it up. Greg & Lee go above & beyond taking care of their customers.

It gave me confidence that he handles the moves with integrity and honest business practices. During the move, Reginald arrived on site with two other employees, who were college aged young men. All were polite with good work ethic and safely handled all my furniture and possessions without a scratch. My move from Waco to Dallas couldn't have gone any smoother, thanks to them.

He also has a $130 box of my fence clips that should have stayed here with the rest of my tools/supplies rather than ending up in his truck. Joe has not returned my property & refused to provide a refund for work that never got done saying, in writing, "you want your money back take me to court." So, sadly, it looks like we'll be seeing him in court when a simple refund for the uncompleted work would have solved the problem & would have been the right thing to do. It seems that Joe took on more work than he could get to & agreed to do work he did not have the manpower or equipment to do. Joe really seems like a genuinely good guy so his response to my refund request took me by suprise. I am glad other people seem to have had better success with him & hope he reconsiders. But in case he doesn't, I'll be filing with the BBB tomorrow & will be filling out the paperwork for small claims court to get that ball rolling. Joe, I'm sad & disappointed. We had some good chats, some laughs, & I even saw you cry. I met your lovely wife & adorable daughter, & you were game to do extra odd-jobs like that feed delivery. I hope you will reconsider. Feel free to text me if you change your mind. I'm not trying to get something for nothing but just need the refund for the work you didn't get done so I can hire someone else. Then we can avoid going to court & can both move on.

I was a bit concerned if this was a legit company (fear of no labor showing up on load day!), but it all worked out. There is just not a lot of personal contact - most being done online. My only concern was the main guy did not know how to tie knots in rope - he could only use ratchet straps to secure loads in the truck. Not a problem if you know how and are there to do it. At the other end of the move, we had only minimal damage to items - less than I would have expected from commercial moving lines (Atlas, Mayflower, etc). Remember to tip the workers!
