Unfortunately, the sheer amount of damaged and broken items has exceeded my capacity to forgive and forget, especially considering I paid over 6k for the privilege of having to replace several large pieces of furniture and every single storage furniture we moved with us. Please do your research. They were super polite and one of the gentlemen was really helpful, but by the end of it all, I am coming out of pocket thousands to replace our furniture and I'm still unpacking half full boxes that I paid a markup on as they were purchase from Home Depot and then I bought them again from these movers at a mark up. If this had been disclosed I would have bought the boxes myself. I also would have packed all the boxes myself. On the first night after the first full day of packing, I had to open a box to find an item that had accidentally been packed only to find ALL of my photos and breakables had been packed in half full boxes with NO packing materials. Sounds crazy, but don't worry, I took photos and videos. I slept about 3 hours a night during all the packing days and then packed alongside the crew to ensure the boxed items would not arrive shattered. I'm a photographer and had a lot of framed photos. None were packed protectively. So I did all of that myself. Every single table was loaded and stacked with the legs bearing weight in the truck, and then upon delivery, all legs on our desks, tables, and bookshelves were snapped, bent, and destroyed. Every bookshelf, table, nightstand, and desk either had to be thrown out or repaired to be able to be functional. When stacking in the truck, they said they stacked boxes underneath to help support the weight, only to find on unloading, that was not the case and there were gaps beneath the furniture and the legs were broken. I highly recommend flipping tables upside down so the legs hold NO weight in the future, that does me no good though as a I am still incurring costs to replace all my damaged items. Our job was much bigger than they anticipated, and for that I'm so very sorry, but the extent of the damage has been financially draining, I would not recommend going with this company and highly recommend doing to research and hiring elsewhere. ETA- I almost forgot, they packed a box of medication and medical supplies for myself and my children that was marked to not be moved. All the medical supplies, medication, and medical devices in this box are now trash. Thousands of dollars(type 1 diabetes and heat sensitive medications) destroyed and had to be thrown away. A hit our family was not prepared to take upon my husband's retirement from the military. We were told they were certain they didn't touch that box. The box was found immediately upon opening the truck. All within it were completely destroyed.

The move took two full days to complete, despite the reverse move previously being completed in about three hours by just one person and a crackhead. The timeline felt incredibly inefficient and resulted in significantly higher costs than expected. To make matters worse, several items were missing after the move. There was little accountability or urgency shown in resolving these issues, which only added to the frustration. One of the most concerning aspects of the experience was that movers were taking videos inside the home without permission. Even more troubling, the behavior came across as inappropriate and unsettling toward a 15-year-old family member. This created an uncomfortable environment during what should have been a professional service visit. The pricing was also inconsistent and seemed to fluctuate throughout the process. The final cost did not align with expectations set beforehand, making it difficult to trust the estimates that were provided. Moving is already stressful enough. Damage/Property Loss with No Compensation I scheduled a…read morelabor only move with Brandon to have 2 guys load a U-Haul for an out of state move. The guys showed up 30 minutes late. We did not think to micro-manage or sit and watch their every move; I have used several different moving companies throughout the years and always had good experiences. We sadly trusted/assumed their abilities and level of respect for our things and for my partner's livelihood (he is an artist). Our U-Haul was packed so horribly and with little to no regard to our possessions. Requests/instructions were not followed. This was also not a quick 20 minute move across town. Once we arrived in another state, we discovered a lot of damage due to the reckless and thoughtless packing of the U-Haul. I reached out to Brandon and provided photos of the damages. He informed me he filed a claim with his insurance and fired the 2 men that loaded the U-Haul. My motivation was never to have anyone fired, I wanted him to fix things with me, the customer. It has now been 7 weeks and Brandon still has not provided any compensation or any solution for the damages and losses we experienced. He has become unresponsive to my text messages and does not answer the phone when I call. I had a horrible experience with the services provided by Brandon's Convenient Moves and would never recommend them. Additional details: My partner is an artist and had 15-20 paintings on canvas. The movers were instructed to put the paintings against the side of the U-Haul and then to put our mattress against them to protect them. These instructions were not followed. The paintings were stacked and stuffed in various places. 3 of my partners large canvas paintings had been punctured and ruined. We packed most our things in heavy duty plastic tubs - one was cracked. Our bookcases lost screws because they were loaded on their sides, so now the shelves are unstable and unusable. I had wrapped furniture pads around the bookcases - they were discarded. One bookcase was even dropped on the ground. Musical instruments were packed upside down and a bass guitar in a soft case was on the very bottom of the U-Haul with various things stacked on top of it.

I got a prompt reply back when I asked and the gentleman said they'd be available. We set up a time for 4/23. That Monday, I confirmed with them through text that we were still on. The day of the move, around 9am, I texted with them and again confirmed that they were coming. Around 9:30am he said they'd be running about 20 minutes late (which happens, no biggie). From there, I never heard another word from this company. I was left sitting at my storage facility, looking like a fool, with absolutely no one to help me move into my house for an hour and half before I gave up. I called them 24 times with no call back and I received no text back. They clearly decided today wasn't a fun day to move and left me HIGH AND DRY!!! They weren't even considerate enough to even make up a lie, like, "hey, we broke down, etc." This is the behavior of a petulant child, not a professional....or even a grown man. This ended up costing me about $1k over what I had budgeted for the move. I had zero way of getting my fridge, washer/dryer, and essentials moved. Don't even consider reaching out to this company. Sure, they might come help.....or, they'll decide it's not a fun day to work so to heck with the customer. Embarrassing (both for me and this company) and disheartening.
