When I came on Yelp and left a review, William the owner, sent me a…read moremessage that I shouldn't have taken the discount claiming I have "taken money and left him a bad review." Let me be VERY clear about he operates. He does not tell you before coming out that he is going to offer you two separate prices. He tells you that it is a $99 fee for him to come out, but if you use his services he applies that to the payment. So once he is there, you are obligated to $99. This is a pretty typical arrangement for appliance repair/maintenance. That was not an issue. Once he arrived and looked at the issue, THAT is when he says, okay this is how much it is. BUT if you leave me a 5 star review I will give it to you for THIS amount. I have shared screenshots of the interactions. Now ALSO I want to be clear that when I agreed to leave a 5 star review, he sent me a link to review him on Google. And I DID leave him a 5 star review there, which I still have not edited at this time. So I 100% did what he directed me to do. How fair is it though that you are roped into a 5 star review for a discount, even if you feel the experience was not worth 5 stars. Who is going to say, well okay, let me just pay you more so I am free to leave an honest review of your service. That is ridiculous. And he mentions something about waiving taxes. If he did that, it was on his own accord. All I said was that if he took $50 off it would not be the quoted amount because the invoice he originally sent was more than $50 over what he said it would be if I left a 5 star review. Reviews are NOT an advertisement. Reviews should be UNBIASED reflections of customers' experiences. And to box customers into 5 star reviews by charging more if they don't leave you 5 stars is VERY dishonest. Customers often rely on reviews when deciding where to do business and spend their money. If I had known this about this company, I would absolutely not have done business with them. So I am sharing this on YELP, because I kept my commitment and left a 5 star Google Review) so that others are able to avoid this experience as well. Oh, and guess what - he was out in March, we are now about 3 months out and my dryer has stopped heating AGAIN because he never actually fixed it properly to begin with. We will of course reach out to another company for service - one that does not pay for their reviews (because let's be honest, that is what he is doing).

Unfortunately, I forgot to update the card on file, which caused my payment to fail. However, at no point did anyone call, email, text, or otherwise notify me that my account was past due. What makes this situation even worse is that I called to schedule a service appointment for my dryer. Nobody mentioned a past-due balance. Nobody said, "We can't service the appliance because of your account status." Instead, they sent someone out, and the technician took the washer and dryer without any warning. It felt like the goal all along was to repossess the appliances rather than give me a fair opportunity to correct the billing issue. If I had known there was a balance due, I would have paid it immediately. Why would I call for a service appointment if I knew my account was delinquent? The lack of communication was unacceptable and felt incredibly deceptive. To make matters worse, the woman I spoke with afterward was incredibly rude. She told me I couldn't speak with anyone else because she was "the only one there." She made dismissive comments such as, "We don't send emails for balances," and even suggested that if they had warned me ahead of time, I would have locked my doors to prevent them from taking the appliances. I found that comment insulting and completely unprofessional. She then put me on hold for nearly 20 minutes, only for me to call back and speak with another employee who was much kinder and more helpful. While they eventually agreed to remove some fees, the damage was already done. After this experience, I chose to pay more and rent from a different company because I refuse to continue giving my money to a business that operates this way. Customer service, communication, and transparency matter, and this company failed on all three. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I spent most of my money fixing up the house so my budget for appliances is limited. I'm so happy that I found what I needed within my budget at A4L. I highly recommend this store for anyone shopping on a budget and don't want to suffer quality. What I Loved: 1. Affordable Prices: The biggest draw is, of course, the discounts. Many items were priced significantly lower than big-box retailers, even with the crazy Black Friday sales going on. The reason for the low price is mostly because those appliances are open box items. Some of the items may have minor cosmetic damages such as a dent. The store run tests on them to make sure they are fully functional. Those appliances are under the manufacturer warranty, and I believe A4L also offers warranty. 2. Knowledgeable Staff: The sales associates were friendly, helpful and well-informed about the products. Michael, the store owner, helped me evaluate the pros and cons of each options and we decided on the refrigerator, washer and the dryer that are not only beautiful but also functional for my family's needs. 3. Fast Delivery: The store offered delivery, which was a huge plus for me. What to consider: 1. Cosmetic Flaws: like I mentioned earlier, some of the discounted items had minor scratches or dents. While these didn't impact functionality, it's something to consider if aesthetics are important. 2. Variety of brands: while there is a decent selection of good brands such as LE and Samsung, you may not have as large of selection as those big box retailers. Verdict: A4L is an excellent place for anyone looking to save money on appliances without sacrificing quality. While the trade-off may be minor cosmetic issues, the savings are worth it. I'll definitely return for future purchases!

    I thought I was buying a scratch and dent dryer,,,,,,I did not know it was used also. I found it on…read moreline for $448, called and talked to store said I would be there the next day at 11 am. The people were nice and it seemed to go smoothly. When I got to the store the dryer was packaged up in clear cellophane. I could see the few scratches it had,,,,everything seemed ok. I went to pay for it and they rounded up to $450, I did not say anything, no big deal. The floor help was nice and helped me load the dryer and even got me extra cardboard to protect it. I got home and removed the cellophane and to my surprise my wife said it is used! There was lent in the trap. After removing the screen there was hair and dirt on the inside. This was a used dryer, not just a scratch and dent. The price I paid was for a brand new dryer with some scratches, this dryer should have been cheaper for having been used for no telling how long. If you do business here,,,,,Caveat emptor, let the buyer beware!!!!!!
