I knew the previous owner of the Maytag store in Prescott, AZ, but I didn't know the current owner, so I took a chance. I based my Choice on the reviews from Yelp. So, you just give out random names (with no last names) without knowing their reputations. The lady then said, "My Mondays are busy I can't help you" and she turned her back on me. I initially called the manufacturer and they informed ma based on what I described that it was the compressor. And since 'this unit has been out of production for a long time they no longer carried the spare parts. I called a friend who has several larger units and has bought spare compressors to keep them running. Jd informed me that his large ones the costs were about $2000 each. He informed me that the smaller ones were about a $1000. I tried to find the compressor but non available even through eBay. I called Apache and Mike got back with me and recommended to buy a new unit. After 14 years there was bound to be more things to go wrong and the repair cost he estimated at a $1000. Which aligned with my research. His great honest opinion was welcomed. I like that thus recommend Apache appliance. Oh I found the replacement vinotemp brand new at $725.

I was told to check switch that may have been turned off but the refrigerator was at a short term rental and the guest could not find the switch. It did turn out that the switch was off but the poor review is due to the fact that I spent a lot of $$ to fix and they were unwilling to make another house call to check their work and make sure it was all working.

The quality of everything I bought here was all worth the money despite the high prices. Most of my tools for my first tool box as well as the box itself came from this location and they're still holding strong and working properly. The store had such an amazing selection of hardware to choose from its better than home depot and lowes. The biggest criticism is the high prices of the products. But still it's worth the money and quality tk ensure you get something that'll last a life time. Check out this store over other hardware stores.

A computer answered and said they would text me a link that would answer my question (it didn't), so I called their 800# and actually spoke to a human who told me the only way I could get my question answered was to drive to the store and talk with someone. NO, she would not give me their phone number, nor would give me their email address. So, this high tech company won't use any of that technology to provide customer service. To make matters worse, when I dropped it off, they asked me what was wrong, and they quoted a prive to fix it, then pulled out a cardboard display and aggressively started upselling me a membership. This is a horribly run company.
