My faucet handle was broken since March. I had one plumber say he would have to take down the shower surround. My second opinion told me try bath fitters (not paying $4000). Then on my third try, I got Aaron's Plumbing. They sent out Cody. Cody took a picture of the numbers on the valve (old style faucet, not Delta). Called Aaron's plumbing, the guys came out right away. Our bathroom sink was leaking so bad we had to shut off the water. Instead of trying to money gouge me like most companies, I was really impressed that Aaron's Plumbing researched and found out what kind of faucets I have, I have pfister's. Aaron's plumbing informed me that I didn't need to replace my faucets, I just need to replace the cartridge inside the faucet and it should be free because Pfister offers lifetime warranties on theses faucets. They helped me so I called pfister and sure enough they sent out my filters for free and Aaron's plumbing contacted me to make sure they arrived so they could come out right away to replace them for me. Amazing service, quality work, kind, actually saved me money. I highly recommend Aaron's plumbing and will call them for all my future plumbing needs. read more

We had Aaron's install a new 75 gal. water heater recently. We had issuses with black particles and horrible smell within the first month, which we didn't have with the old water heater. This was due to the anode rod, not the install. Cody and his helpers were excellent in installing. They came back and installed a second, different type, rod that was to eliminate the issues. It didn't. We were told, by 2 other plumbers, that we had to have the rod taken out to get rid of the issues. Kelly, in the office, was very short in explaining that "you'll void your warrenty upon taking out the rod" (which was NOT true, come to find out afetr talking with an AHS warrent rep). We had to make several calls and would always be told "I'll get back with you"...seldom, if ever, did she. Always an excuse as to why she didn't. Became VERY short with us on the phone, seemed like she was just tired of dealing with something she didn't have an answer for or want to deal with, and couldn't come up with a solution to our major problem that satisfied HER. Finally upon telling her we'd call American Home Shield (home warrenty) and lodge a complaint against Aaron's AND call the BBB to do the same, she agreed to remove the rod (with a charge of another $230) "and be done with us, not to work with us again in the future". Now THERE'S some great public relations....??? ...right? (We got the removal fee waived, needless to say, upon having to threaten with making the complaint calls) Would NOT recommend Aaron's in the future, though Cody and their onsite crew is great, Kelly is NOT the greatest company owner (yes, owner) to deal with. read more

I requested an estimate for some plumbing repair, and this company showed up on time, wrote out an estimate right away. After we discussed the project, they were professional, courteous, and responded quickly to my request for the estimate needed. So far there is no better value than that when you're trying to pull your job together with professionals. Had an appointment scheduled from 1-4PM. I was called by the tech stating he was on his way to my house at 2pm. The tech asked what was wrong with my water heater and I explained it to him. He asked if I could live with it until the next day because he normally gets off work between 3:30 and 4pm and has to pick up his kids. I said no because I made an appointment for a reason and couldn't change the schedule. The tech asked me to send pictures of my water heater so I did. The tech said that he would work on getting a replacement because it's so old and can't be fixed. 6pm rolls around and I've heard nothing and no one came. I texted the tech asking what the status was and he said I'd have to call the office. I called the office and I was told that they would be requesting a new heater from the home warranty do to mine being so old, leaking, and then not being able to fix it. - no one came out. I waited 5 hours to send a text message and have no one respond to my service request. I scheduled an appointment for around a week later to have a new water heater put in. Day of the 2nd appointment the techs show up an hour later then my scheduled time. The techs get escorted to the water heater and ask what is wrong with it. I let them know the issue and they said that they would just be replacing the gas control valve to see if it works. They said they have the other water heater already sent from the home warranty company just in case. They said they can't replace it until it they try to fix it since there are "no leaks" and that the need to evaluate it before they can replace it. What the heck was the first appointment for where no one showed up!? What is going on with this company!? Dishonest. They do not value time or commitments. Horrible service. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. They replaced the valve and wrote on the receipt - no hot water issues. That's unknown until the unit heats up! I give these guys 3 stars, only because I called about my drain several days in advance. Told they would be there Friday, we'll turns out one guy arrived about ten till five pm. Working on drainage problem a pipe busted, water and sludge everywhere. They had to comeback Saturday two guys came this time around ten am. Starting work they needed parts, so instead of one guy running and the other stay to work on pipes and get ready they both left two different times in the day, they finally finished around 3:00, charged $625.00 I don't know if that was a good price or not, felt could have used their time better instead them both leaving twice, for over an hour. This will be second time dealing with them later today, so far for this time of them coming I am none to thrilled. I have no choice seeing as my landlord is paying and is picking them. The first time they came they parked in my shared driveway and at the time my neighbors were not co operative. Anyways they came to the door and I said I left where I park in back open for you or you can park on the street. They then told me they are parking in my shared driveway whether I like it or not. They got the toilet to flush but to "test" it he used my restroom without asking. So far when they come later today they call me at 7:30am to which they didn't give me enough time to stumble to my phone. So I call them when I get up. The lady on the phone then tells me they drove by and your driveway is not plowed. If I can drive my ford focus up and down it and a u haul can up and down it so can you. Its all ice that I can not get up and I will not hire someone to convenience you. The driveway is driveable to the best of my ability. Then I tell the lady they can park on the street again stating the shared driveway. She then says I need a 3 foot path and if they can't they aren't working and on and on. She said something about saftey. I can not control mother nature and her making the driveway icy, nor can i shovel through ice. These guys were great! I called yesterday because the shut-off for my backyard faucet wasn't working, and I didn't want any exploding pipes this winter. They dropped by today right when they said they would, and were friendly and informative. They walked me through what was going on with the pipe, mentioned a few other oddities about the plumbing in my house (without any sort of hard sell for a fix, just a sort of "hey, this is a bit weird, keep an eye on this joint because it might leak in a few years"), and gave me multiple options for how I could fix the issue. They ended up fixing the problem right away, for a great price, and now I don't have to worry about exploding pipes this winter! Whew! I'd definitely recommend them to anyone, and will certainly be calling them back if any of those weird joints do start leaking. read more

So up to this point, these guys had a 5 star rating. Granted their previous single review could have been posted by a family friend, but I thought I'd give them a try. For others out there looking for a plumber, it may be better to start your search from reverse alphabetical order, as these guys left as bad a taste in my mouth as the backed up sewer water in my basement. I paid them to clean the lines so water didn't back up into the house. It was an issue when the washing machine drained, so I knew that there was an obstruction in the line that slowed the flow. They came and charged me for their services, and a month later the same problem occurred but this time much, much worse. The basement smelled like a sewer and when I called them on a Saturday evening, their number went to a nice woman who was putting her child to bed and would call me right back. After 45 minutes of waiting, I called back but she wouldn't pick up the phone. When contacting them on Monday they had plenty of excuses, but wouldn't stand behind their work or refund the earlier line cleaning charge. After spending over $600 dollars for emergency plumbers to unplug the line, I have the firsthand experience to say that there are better plumbers out there. Maybe they will improve in the future, but I would not consider them dependable, honest or competent. read more

They did a couple small jobs for me a couple of years ago. The work was adequate although they are expensive compared to other good plumbers in the area. Currently I'm selling a home and they provided an estimate for the buyers for a few plumbing items noted on inspection report. Estimate included a new water heater and bathroom faucet. Both of which are completely unecessary. Water heater was 5 yrs old, fully functional, and not noted as an issue. I'm pretty sure they were just trying to slip in extra work for more money thinking with all of the paper work going back and forth during a home sale that I wouldn't notice. Buyers came to me with Aaron's estimate as if I'm going to cover repairs for fictional issues. I don't think so. I would never trust this company. read more

After 27 years of requiring periodic service on the ancient plumbing in our home, we have come to rely on Paul at Aaron's for quick, dependable and honest service. I attempted to hire Aaron's through my home warranty co. in order to fix a malfunctioned pilot light on my water heater. The lady in the office was very friendly and helpful, and even went the extra mile by informing me that their next opening was not for 3 business days, but I could contact my home warranty co., inform them I was without hot water with an infant in the home, and request the next plumbing co. on their list. It meant a lot to me that Aaron's put my needs first. read more

He came out an hour late and than ran a test and said nothing was wrong and to call the city for a free quote from them Incase they see something else. Pretty similar to the last few reviews - these guys are unprofessional, dishonest and expensive. This was my experience with not only the guys sent to do the work but with the person answering the phone as well. The first visit was with two guys who clearly had better things to do. They give you a two hour window and then show up at the last minute. Within my window time I called to ask for a more specific time and was told, rudely, they would be there within my provided window. They rushed thru and "repaired" the disposal so well that someone else had to come out and replace it a few days later. That guy actually seemed to know what he was doing. I asked for a quote on a plastic water line repair (had a pin size hole) and was told it would be $200. On a normal day that would be extremely high priced but on this day they were ALREADY in my home for the garbage disposal so charging $200 to replace this line is really just criminal. I would never ever use them again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else do either. read more

Had to use them through our home warranty program. The techs were not knowledgeable about toilet flanges and the lady in the office Kimberly was telling me to get multiple quotes on flanges and her techs had never seen a toilet without a flange before. Our house was built in 1947 and after talking with neighbors and friends, it is very common for older homes to not have flanges. Summary: We had no working toilet in our home from Friday at 10 am (when the techs came to install a new toilet and discovered no flange) until Monday at 4 pm. The techs said they would try to see if our situation could be done after hours or over the weekend and I would be hearing from the office if our warranty covered a flange and emergency install. At around 4pm Friday I left a message at the office requesting a followup and stating I had sprained my ankle so we really needed a toilet (in addition to only having one bathroom). Never heard anything. Left a voicemail message Saturday around 4 pm and a few hours later I heard from our Home Warranty Service saying they don't cover a flange. She was shocked to hear we hadn't heard from the plumber as we had no working toilet. I called the office right after and Kimberly proceeded to apologize saying she got busy on Friday and had forgotten about us. Stated the above about needing quotes and job would be expensive. Said her guys could come out on Wednesday to assess and give us a quote.However she had also said only some techs knew how to install flanges, possibly. So I told her I didn't want them to come out to give us a quote since from our conversation I could tell they didn't know about flange installs. So scheduling is a big issue, also. Needless to say I talked with friends and found a local plumber who came out at 9 am Mon to install the flange. Super easy and cheap install (unlike what this plumbing service thought). Then my husband called the plumber to request the toilet installed and was told it would be installed on Wednesday! I called right after my husband and stated how we had no working toilet and that we would pay out of pocket to have it installed after hours (she did not take us up on the request). I am guessing they don't do after hours install? Said she would put us on the cancellation list. Thankfully someone cancelled and we got a toilet installed around 4pm Monday. Needless to say I am very displeased and have made a report to the home warranty company and will call the warranty company personally the rest of the year (when having a plumbing request) to make sure we are assigned a different company. read more

If I could give this company a 0 star a review I would. They came out and were suppose to rewire our "brand new" water heater they said it was "new" but wasn't. The work that these two did was the WORST plumbing that I have ever seen and I am pretty sure isn't all legal or up to code. Then after they left a couple hours later we lost all of our hot water, so they came out the next day and told us that it was an electrical issue and didn't even look at the water heater at all!!!! They told us to have an electrician come out so we did and the electrician came out and looked at all the breakers and nothing was wrong with any of the breakers and when the electrician switched the breaker from off to on the water heater sparked. I called Aarons back and without even coming out they said I need a new water heater and it would be 875 dollars!!! I went to Lowes and having it installed by some new and it can be done for 500. What water heater are they want iv to give us for 875??? The most they are 500! Aarons plumbing is a crook company and don't know what they are doing. Stay for for away from them. read more
