My call was returned less than an hour later. 20 minutes after that the tech called me because he was waiting on an electrician at an address in my subdivision. 30 minutes later I arrived at my house and he was waiting for me. He diagnosed the problem quickly and after running to the other side of town to get the correct part my furnace was running an hour later. After reviewing the invoice, I had to seek legal advice and confirmed through an independent witness that the technicians were on site for only a few hours. We ultimately reached a resolution after considerable back-and-forth. I would recommend asking for a written estimate and a clear explanation of hourly billing before authorizing work. Write down everything and do not proceed unless you have a written estimate you agree with.
