    We bought expensive leather recliners 2 1/2 years ago and bought extended warranty for 5 years,…read morealthough the regular warranty is supposed to cover springs for 5 years. One of the recliners spring or cushion, is bad, called to get someone to look at it, and you have to pay 90 dollars to get it looked at and see if they will fix it, no refund. When we bought the recliners, they said it would cover everything. We were hesitant to buy from Ashley but we did.

    We went here buy a Rocker Recliner. We found one we liked in their database, but no floor model. We…read moreliked the couch that went with it in the showroom and were told we could try it out when it arrived to make sure we liked it, and if not, we could exchange for the other one we also liked. So we bought it and were told it would arrive within the week for pickup. It did arrive as the salesman stated, but we would not be able to pick it up, due to work schedule, until Monday. So Monday comes around and we call the store to let them know we are on our way, but the answering machine just states they're unavailable at the moment. We drive the 30 miles to the store to pick it up and they were closed! Apparently, it had something to do for their May Sale. This left us frustrated. We emailed the Salesman that evening and he was very apologetic the next day. So we go back to pick it up the next day, get it home and can't put it together because the recliner is bent out of shape. Now we are again frustrated to make another 60 mile trip for nothing! We contact the salesman and send pics and he says his "Customer Service" will contact us. About 2 weeks later after calling and nagging they finally leave a message that states they are handling it and will contact us to exchange it. Purchase Date April 21, Pickup Date May 1, still waiting for item we paid for. I guess their "Customer Service" is the problem. Just very aggravating and has deterred me from purchasing anymore from Ashley's in general because of this. People in store are friendly and have been trying to be helpful. Update: We did receive our replacement recliner. We ended up having to drive there and back, but we now have one that works.
