This may be great made furniture. Like I said may. I placed an order in November. I was told 6-8 weeks. Well now this is March. I have to message them for an update my order was supposed to be ready and the day prior I get told another week. Customer service is 100% crap. I asked for my money back. And was told another week. This company should not be in business. If I get my order. I will leave a review. Finally got my order. And now my house smells of paint. I had to put paper under legs to stop the wobble. My custom expensive gun draws are absolute garbage. They don't work right and if they did would still be crap. I can't get over how bad the smell is. This is not quality this is I built this shit in my shop and here you go paint still wet and all. Do not buy from here I have to at least put felt down in the gun drawer if I would put a gun in there. Please don't waist your time or money. read more

I wish I could give zero stars!!! BUYER BEWARE! My brother purchased a bedroom set from Tuff Roots. TR should be embarrassed at the work they handed over to him. After being promised the furniture in 4-6 weeks he didn't receive it until 14 weeks later and it's in shambles. It's not even worth fixing. I'll include photos of his "rustic" furniture. They didn't even bother to put wood handles on the drawers. Rope.... rope is what they used. I would avoid this place like you do COVID. read more

Tried to shop in their store on Memorial Day weekend in 2020, but there was a sign on the door every time we went by that said they'd "be back soon." I know if it were a big holiday weekend with lots of tourists, I'd dang sure have my doors open, but whatever. Went back to Beavers Bend, finally found them open after several tries, and bought a hat in October 2020. I should have never bought it because the girl that sold it to me said they'd ship it the next week, but didn't even ask for my address until I asked her if she needed it. Never received the hat. Wrote an accurate review on Facebook in December and was contacted with a story as to why they were so behind. Was promised a refund *if* I removed my bad review, which I did immedidately. Never got it. I can't give this place enough NEGATIVE stars. We're going next weekend, and though I'd love to stop in a give them a piece of my mind, I'm sure they'll have a sign on their door.... IF they're still in business. Don't see how they could be, but we'll see. read more

WoW, where do I start? On August 27th, after having several conversations with Shane I paid for the Wild West Bedroom set. The payment was so he could begin the process of building the furniture. At the time we were told 4 - 6 weeks. 6 weeks into it I tried to call and get another dresser built while they were doing the original and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone/text/Facebook DM. After a couple of weeks, they finally called me only to blow me off about adding another item. I should have been suspicious at that point. In October I started trying to call and get a status update because we still needed to get a new mattress. Those calls went unanswered for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks they told me they were behind because they had 2 deaths in their work force and were struggling to get stuff built. (We later found out that this was a lie) The week of Thanksgiving they said they had everything built and were waiting on some touch ups to dry, so we agreed on Wednesday the 25th of November for them to deliver and set up my furniture. (I paid the extra $380 for delivery and setup). At 6pm on Wednesday we still had not heard from them and of course they won't answer their phones. After calling, texting and Facebook messaging them, they finally replied saying that they got tied up and wouldn't make it... They couldn't pick up the phone and let us know, I guess. After a lengthy text conversation, they agreed to deliver the furniture on Saturday the 28th. 5 texts to them on Friday to try and nail down a time so I wasn't waiting around for them like we had all day Wednesday. Saturday morning, they said they would be there between 6 to 8 P.M. (who does that?) At 7:45 P.M. they texted to say they had just left and asked if we would still be up for delivery. Keep in mind they are over 3 hours away so that would put them here around 11 P.M. I said sure why not I've waited this long. 12 A.M. still a no show and I start texting them again. Of course, by this time I'm a little upset and let them know it. They got mad because I was impatient and they went back to Broken Bow, OK. (I doubt they were ever on their way, just another bold face lie). I told them I would be there Monday to pick up my furniture. On Monday morning I showed up at the store front and to my surprise the girl working had no idea about my furniture. (Shocked face) She tried to contact them for over an hour with no luck. (They wouldn't even answer the phone for their own employee) She called one of the employees that was at the build location to find out it wasn't even done yet. While in the store the first time we noticed a 5' x 10' American flag that we liked and asked the girl for the price and she said $450. She informed us that the furniture would be ready and delivered to the store at 1 P.M. We left and came back at 1 to find out it wasn't there yet. After going back inside and seeing if the store front girl could get us a new ETA we asked again about the American Flag. She told us three times the price was $450. We purchased the flag and took it outside to wait for our furniture. After waiting until 3:15 we decided to leave and let them deliver the furniture like I had already paid for. After getting all the way to Paris, Texas we were pulled over by the Police and accused of stealing the American flag. (Keep in mind its 5'x10' and weighs 200 pounds). We produced a receipt for the flag and told the Police the story. TuffRoots indicated the flag was priced at $5000 (It was a cool flag for $450 but not for $5000) Obviously the owner was upset his employee sold the flag for a much cheaper price but all and all I just wanted my furniture that was paid for 14 weeks earlier. We made a deal for him to deliver the furniture to Paris and in return he could get his Flag back and he agreed. After waiting 3 hours he showed up with 5 other guys and two females. He didn't want to refund the money we paid for the flag and was being pretty irate so we had to call the Police. The Police showed up and he decided it was in his best interest to pay the money back. His employees unloaded the furniture into a dark parking lot at a gas station in Paris, Texas. (who does that?) We loaded the furniture up and went home. After unloading it and inspecting the furniture we found out how horrible it looked. Nothing like advertised. None of the drawers lined up, stain was a different color, drawer handles were made of two different colors of rope and they were supposed to be wood handles. Drips and overspray all over the bed, screws sticking into the insides of the drawers. I could list 50 things wrong with this furniture and have pictures and video to prove it all. Bottom line is don't pay these people a dime of your money without getting the furniture first. They have lied to us from the very beginning and now won't answer the phone to refund us our money. I can only imagine how bad he is screwing those cabin owners around. read more
