Their insurance company, Liberty Mutual, has denied the claim after I sent all the paperwork, pictures, and video. We got a low bid contractor and even supplied flooring, baseboard, and cleanup to keep the cost down. We would be dinged on our homeowners insurance if we let them pay the claim but that wasn't right because we had no fault in the problem. They probably spent more in wages and time from 11/18/24 - 4/25/25 than just paying the claim. The guys at Nyholm's were uncooperative from the get go and it took me a week and half just to find out who their insurance company was and there was so much more after that. They don't stand behind their workmanship or help for their customers. On top of that I would never buy any digital Speed Queen products and even their newer non digital. Read newer reviews...some not happy customers.

I have heard it that bill is a fantastic employee and many of the customers that I have spoken with find him to be delightful. During the pandemic they were the only appliance store that had readily available product. They worked extremely hard to get the necessary appliances into the store. I live out east on highway 12 so I was happy to find Stephen and because he was nearby he came right over! It took a few trips and replacing a few parts but he finally got it working like new! I'm so pleased because finding a replacement would have been nearly impossible. Stephen didn't give up and he did a great job! He's much in demand and very busy so it might take a bit of time for him to get to you but he's worth the wait! I know next time I need an appliance repaired I'll call him for help!

They arrived on the date stated, and would communicate with us each day what the daily goals were. The men stayed each day until they met their goal. The crew was extremely respectful, honest and knowledgeable in their field. The prep work and installation was done masterfully and to perfection. Our job was not an easy one, as it's an old house with all of the old house quirks. They had to remove a bunch of challenging tile and ensure the floor was level. It was HARD work, and they did it all with smiles on their faces. The energy they brought to the work site each day was truly positive. They even finished a day early! My guard was up due to our other recent contractor experiences that were sub-par at best, but they quickly broke down my barriers, and I was truly sad to see these nice young men go. I would recommend this team of people to others without hesitation.

We were on the hunt for the globe Electric LED dinosaur lamp, we checked online and saw that they had 8 left. When we got to the store, they didn't have them on the shelf but the young man that worked there, his name was JOSE, asked if we were looking for something (yeah we looked lost) He checked and noticed that they came in today and he went to check! He came back with a box and handed one over! He made my daughter so happy and his customer service was 5 Star! Above and beyond! From now on when I need anything from Home Depot, this will be the store I shop at! Overall one of the best experiences I had in a hardware store, and I'm in the middle of remodeling my house, so what does that tell you! Thank you Home Depot Chehalis! No empathy, no suggestions or recommendations. How is it that there is NO emergency refrigerator repair services available to us here in Lewis County? When our fridge died with no previous warning there was a problem, my husband and I panicked. I would personally consider the refrigerator in every household an "essential appliance" because it preserves ALL of the PERISHABLE food we purchase to feed our families. So, if you are looking for a new career, I would recommend becoming a refrigerator repair company. We would have paid double time for any qualified appliance repair company to come out at any hour to help us troubleshoot the problem. My husband and I discussed the idea of getting into the refrigerator repair business exactly for this reason. Weeks later, the problem was identified in 5 minutes as a failed switch behind the rear cover plate that cost less than $70. IRONIC Of course we can't expect appliance repair companies to have parts in stock for every brand of every appliance on hand so it was going to take a day or two to repair. Our groceries were long since spoiled and thrown away. We had to buy another refrigerator to solve the problem as soon as possible. Our broken but repaired older fridge will go into the garage as a spare. Shaking my head. We were looking for a particular brand of sofa, which they carried, but they were also very transparent about new concerns they were having with the company. We drove the 40 miles to Chehalis and were greeted by John, a friendly, no pressure, informative and very helpful sales guy. The discounts this weekend were DEEP on already reasonably priced good quality furniture. Emily Elam was also very helpful as we were able to order a dining table at the sale price. We are unable to take possession of the furniture when it arrives, but they were happy to store it free for us, until we are ready for pickup. Shopping at Elma's was worth the drive AND we didn't have to pay Thurston County tax ! We highly recommend Elma's...at least include them if you are looking at and comparative price shopping!

We had specific requirements and those were filled exactly as requested. The professionalism of the delivery crew was top notch. The pricing of what we custom ordered was slightly higher than what we were expecting, however their pricing compared to other dealers of same custom couch system was around $1500 less. This store also has furniture at all price points to facilitate all types of buyers. We looked at 4-5 other furniture store options and went back to first place we started at, Elam's. Plus due to the overall cost of what we ordered, we were not charged the customary deliver fee. Thank you for an easy experience. We would recommend this furniture store for others.
