My wife and I…read morehave used Joe's Garage four time this past year for both our cars and their service and cost were the best we have found in the area. Just a quick example (and we've had more involved repairs than this) I found out yesterday my wife's car's back taillight had burned out. I called them this morning at 8:05am. They said bring it in. I told them I could leave it and come back but they said they fix is immediately. I walked the dog around The block snd the car was finished. Total cost for two burned out light bulbs and labor, $20.00. Another time my wife's front headlights and casings were getting glazed over from years of wear. I brought it in and they told me to save money to order them online at Amazon and bring them in and they would install them. I did, we saved money and the brand new headlights look great. Thank you Joe's Garage.

I had the new MN plates displayed on the inside, that is apparently what caught their attention. To my defense, I figured if it's good enough for temporary plates, why not in this case? The problem was, the fog from parking literally next to the Pacific Ocean for 4 years had caused the screws to rust so bad they could not be removed. I think my car was in as much denial as I was about moving out of CA for good. It takes awhile for it to start purring in these damn negative temps! I explained this to the very pissed off sheriff and he gave me a screwdriver and wanted me to swap the plates out, on the side of a highway, in subzero temps. I tried, and was like, see? I can't! Then he huffed & puffed and tried himself. No luck. So he screamed at me to go to the nearest mechanic. The nearest mechanic was Flash's. It took him about 5 different wrenches, but he was able to swap the plates out. AND replaced a broken tail light. (The sheriff was so red zone enraged about the plates, he didn't even notice that, LOL). I'm glad I was sheriff-ordered to go to this place, because now I know where there's an awesome mechanic shop around.

It got to where we'd stop when places were closed so we didn't have to talk to a salesperson. Then, on an errand run near the cabin, we stopped at A M Maus and Son. We met Rob, who was a breath of fresh air. He knew his inventory well and he was completely low pressure. He understood the investment we were making was a big one and he wanted us to feel comfortable with our decision. Even after coming back for a second test drive, there was no badgering calls, he just gave us his number in case we had any questions. When we bought our truck we felt good about our decision. It was what we wanted and not what someone talked us into. Rob was a great guy to work with and we felt he gave us the best deal possible. We would definitely work with him again and recommend him to our friends.
