As a fellow Russian woman, I understand why people who are not familiar with our culture would…read moreconsider Lyudmila to be not so welcoming. But, every once in a while, it's good to stick your "customer service" standards up your bee-hind, especially if you are looking for an expert, which she certainly is. She's so good, that she is not nearly desperate enough for clients in order to be chasing them down the street with her "customer service" skills. She serves her customers, and she serves them well with her amazing craft. In other news, Lyudmila is recreating my Monique Lhuillier wedding gown into a literal glove for my body. I mean, it was a beautiful dress to begin with, but when it comes to the way it fits, Monuque has got nothing on what Lyudmila can do with a dress. The thing I love about this lady is that she knows exactly what to do. She doesn't just stand there and ask, "what do you want?" She looks at the dress and sees all the ways in which it needs to be changed, and she genuinely cares about making your garments flattering on your body. I love her, and if you are so full of yourself that you get thrown off by her unconventional customer service, then you don't deserve her time. Bye!

I needed them back that weekend because I was traveling on Sunday, which is why I paid for rush service in the first place. I arrived at 12:30 pm on Saturday and was told they had forgotten about my order, but that they would finish it that day and call me. I waited until 1:45 pm, called the shop and got no answer. Since they close at 2:00 pm, I rushed over and arrived at 2:06. The trousers still weren't ready, and I ended up waiting until 2:30 pm. After all of that, the three pairs weren't even hemmed to the same length. So I paid extra for rush service, didn't get them at the promised time, spent a good part of Saturday chasing the order, and still ended up with inconsistent alterations. Very frustrating experience and not what I expected after paying extra to have the work completed on time.

They sent it to another place to clean and it came back with all the old stains still there and many new oil like stains, which looks like some kind cleaner left on the coat. I asked them to redo the job but was told there was nothing they can do. They charged me $48, with no discount offered even under this situation. Looks like they have no control on their supplier. When accident happened, in stead of taking their responsibility, they simply passed the the loss to their client. Be aware you may not be able to hold them accountable in case of issues. On top of the bad job, they did not even have my consent to the price of $48. That down coat has a fur collar that is not removable. They said they could not clean furs and needed to send it to their partner. I was told that they would call me to let me know the cost before they send it out. However, they ended up started the cleaning without letting me know the cost. When I asked a couple of days later, they told me the price was like nothing so they let their partner " go ahead and do it.", still could not let me know the exact price. At last, I got a call for pick up. I went to the store and found out the coat came back terrible except the fur collar part. The furs were cleaned pretty good, but the rest of the coat had all the stains still there and even added new big oily areas. What?! You guys should let me know upfront if this is what the result would be. I may not waste my $48 on such a terrible cleaning job. I know small business sometimes lose control of their suppliers. In this kind of case, you guys need to take the loss, not your clients. I was treated unfairly and the entire process was unprofessionally.
