Trouble with our toilet .... couldn't get it to stop leaking. Called Aaron Crandall Plumbing and they had us on their service list and promised to come out that same day. A short time later they called and fit us in. Both plumbers were friendly and worked efficiently. The toilet is fixed and they left our bathroom without any sign they were working there. Beware and never use this company! Had warranty work done 3/31/23 and was told they spoke to Rheem and it was covered! Received bill for 350.00 over the warranty payment from Rheem and they won provide statement from Rheem showing payment! Spoke with Contractor department at Rheem and they said they should not be billing the customer 4 months after service. Received bill on 8/24 with due date 8/25! Really ??? Rheem is going to call them Monday! They are bad mouthing Rheem also! Poor business!!!! read more

I gave two stars due to the plumber being very communicative, but unfortunately the positives stop there. We reached out for a drainage problem and were informed there would be a minimum charge of ~$165 which is understandable; you can't get anyone out for less than that nowadays. However, we were not informed that we would be billed at an hourly rate of $250/hr for EVERY hour of service. If this were a re-pipe or large job that involved extensive material costs that were folded into this hourly rate, perhaps I can understand but there were no materials involved in this diagnostic job. In addition to being excessively expensive, the plumber continuously tried to upsell my wife on camera systems and additional drainage clearing measures beyond snaking the line. Finally, with my guidance over the phone, we determined our septic tank was full and all we needed was a pump out which we scheduled with a local septic company. The plumber made the recommendation to remove our drain field filter to let the water down, but fortunately we instructed him not to in order to prevent damage to our drain field. I think this was a poor recommendation and was surprised he even offered it. Since the toilet was already off for snaking the line and we didn't yet realize we were being priced gauged, we had him change out the flush valve and seals as he sold us on high quality "plumber grade" materials for an additional $265. Ultimately, it turned out to be a $13 Fluidmaster special that could be ordered on Amazon and the toilet was re-set with a very poor quality caulk job. In the end, the cost was excessive, the quality was poor, and we will never consider his services again. read more

I had an emergency today and Aaron was on it immediately. I have just moved in and was putting up shelf's in the garage. My stud finder located a stud that was actually a 1/2 inch pipe. One self tapping screw later and I had a new fountain in my garage. This is a new house to me and a new State. I had no idea where the water shut off valve was. Wow! What can we say? We've found our new "forever plumber"!!!! We recently did a bathroom remodel and everything went well UNTIL the shower handle and valve were ready to be replaced. The handyman we hired did a great job, but he was unable to figure out what to do with the handle. We purchased a Pfizer bronze handle and shower head, but it didn't include a valve. Our ignorance of how the valve system works really caused the problem. The same was the case with the handyman. He was at Home Depot for over an hour trying to figure out what to do at which time, we decided to call a plumber. We took to the internet for a list of phone numbers for local plumbers and started dialing. We called FOUR different plumbers and got FOUR voice mail recordings. We got lucky on the FIFTH call which was to AARON CRANDALL PLUMBING. A person, Aaron, answered the call. After describing the issues we were experiencing, he asked me to send a picture of the existing handle and the new handle. Within MINUTES of getting the pictures, he called me back and explained exactly what the issue was!!!! Who knew that a Pfizer handle will NOT work on a 1992 Delta valve, or that that particular valve was no longer available??? Aaron did! That's who! :) To our surprise, Aaron indicated he could stop by on that SAME DAY! He came by the house and was very cognizant of the current Corona situation and informed us he would need to practice 'social distancing' and asked us if we had face covers! He brought a can of Lysol with him and was very thorough in disinfecting EVERY area he came in contact with. Aaron explained our options, one of which was to stay with Delta but they had NO BRONZE finishes available, only nickel and chrome. Neither of these finishes sat well with the interior designer, a.k.a. - my wife! :) We called around town and found a bronze Moen set at Lowes but there was only 1 of them left in stock. We reserved it and Aaron got to work. He had to cut through the wall on the back of the shower and he replaced the valve with one he had on the truck while my wife picked up the handle and shower head. He placed an access panel there which will come in handy if we ever need to access it again! After completing the work and giving us the bill at a price we previously agreed to, he told us the new Moen set actually came with a valve, so he gave us a discount for that!!! He just kept that valve as a replacement for the one he used from his truck!!! He knew how ignorant we were to plumbing issues and he could have EASILY taken advantage of us, billing us the full amount and keeping the new valve! That act alone showed us we made the right decision using him. If we ever need a plumber in the future, I will ONLY call Aaron Crandall Plumbing!!! Thank You Aaron!!! josh and Dave came out as requested by Rheem ( we bought a new hot water heater) and they destroyed our install and changed everything so it would no longer pass code. They didn't fix the problem, charged us 1089.00 and left!!Poor( extremely) customer service. They refused to come back. We are elderly and feel completely taken advantage of.
