Thanks to Xavier, I was able to move smoothly into my new computer and learn a few new tricks along the way. Besides the fact that he really knows computers, what I appreciate about working with Xavier is his respect for the customer. I have had too many experiences where tech support is in overdrive telling me how I should set up my desk top or arrange my files. Xavier is a pro, but he doesn't expect or need his customers to be . After all, we come to him for help. He is easy to talk to and patient when explaining things. I highly recommend Vox Lux for Mac support!

He delivered it this morning and hooked everything back up, including making sure my printer communicates with my now very fast computer. I mistakenly thought Nerds on Call was a local company when I called them and wasn't happy they come from outside my county; but the service and skill are excellent. I will definitely recommend Nerds on Call to others and call them again if my computer or my husband's computer has any problems in the future.

Great customer service…read more I recently had a computer issue and decided not to go with them because of distance (I don't live close to the location at all) and cost. Man, do I whole heartedly regret my decision. They're customer service is top-notch and not to mention that they guarantee their work, do it right the first time, and give you 3 months free remote access service. It's so well worth the $$. I really wish I had gone with them. Word to the wise, the guy I went with is nice enough but I would never recommend him to anyone. Below is the image he uses to advertise. I'm not trying to kill his business (which, is why I'm not giving out his name) but simply put...I wholeheartedly regret my decision not to go with NonC.

If you need data recovery, Doctor PC is fine. If you need anything else, I'd go elsewhere…read more I was told that my computer would take a couple of days, and that this would be a fixing of the computer - as in maintaining my programs - not a reformat / system recovery via the computer manufacturer's recovery discs. Well, instead of a day or two, it was about three or four days before they even looked at it. They couldn't fix it, and instead reformatted and ran the recovery discs -- something that frankly, I could've done on my own. Also - it was about three weeks until the system crashed again, and ended up at a different shop for repair. Beyond all this, when I would call, I was given an attitude. In fact, when I went to pick it up, I was addressed by a rude comment, "Oh, so you're the FAMOUS Mr. Myers." Really? Incredibly rude, and the woman having the audacity to say that after charging me a hefty amount and doing a not-so hot job on the computer - crazy. Again, they did do some data recovery for me on a few crapped out hard drives, and that was OK, which is why they avoided the one star review. That said, I wouldn't go there again -- look through my other reviews to see where I found that did a better job, faster, and cheaper.

I was so impressed with Zach's natural ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair computers and other electronics that I asked him to replace me when I graduated from college and moved to Southern California. As for the one bad review that the company has received, I can attest that the person must have left the review on the wrong company page, because neither Zach nor I have ever met or spoken to that person. Yelp has hidden Zach's other good reviews due to some algorithm decision, but they are also here if you can find them. Give him a try. I'm certain you'll be more than satisfied.
