The lady who did my eyebrows today was fantastic, she even told me how to fix them (one was somewhat thinner and further back than the other). I didn't necessarily even notice that one was just a tad off. She explained to me everything she did and then trimmed them. This is a professional - someone who gives you their opinion instead of just rushing through the shaping to get the next customer in the chair. I'm impressed and my eyebrows look great. read more

I've been coming here for about 7 years (recommended by my brother ) and I've been loving the staff here ever since. I do come about every two weeks for a touch up on my brows or wait months to get them done and every time they come out looking amazing. I recommend this place to my friends every time it's such a welcoming place. read more

This place is amazing!! Once you come for the first time, Farah (the owner) will be the only way to go. Whether you prefer waxing or threading, she does a great job. And her prices are not high like my old place. I don't normally post reviews, but for all my ladies out there looking for a good eyebrow, waxing, or anything you need, Aa'raish Salon does the best job. I've been to many different places and there's always been at least one thing wrong with each one, whether it's the location or the worker it's always something. But after coming here I haven't been to another place since. Farah does an amazing job and I totally recommend her. read more

Aa'raish Salon - My eyebrows after Farah finished! Amazing job, Thank you so much!!! - Skin Care Near Me - Schaumburg, Illinois

Outstanding eyebrow services with meticulous attention to detail and enhanced customer service! I drive from Chicago once a month to get my eyebrows done here! read more

Professional and quick. Prices are very reasonable. Hidden gem. Must check out for threading, facials and hair.

Hidden away inside Tri-Balance yoga is absolutely amazing eyebrow threading! It's super cheap but my eyebrows have never looked better. Even my boyfriend commented on how great they looked. The salon is very small but beautifully decorated. I usually run in to get them done while I'm waiting for my yoga class to start. read more

The owner is very accommodating for last minute people coming in. She gives extra attention to every customer. I am very satisfied with the services of this salon. read more

I've been here 5 times, first three times they did a great job last two times including today 10/24/13 at 1:00 pm the lady screwed up even after I drew them on for her. Than lied & said she didn't when you can clearly see her mistake. Never coming back again. read more

Aa'raish Salon - 2 times in a row now they've screwed my eye brows up. I even drew my eyebrows to make it easy for her, Not going back - Skin Care Near Me - Schaumburg, Illinois

Best Facial & Threading! Facial - I had a glorious facial! Everyone was super sweet, accommodating & professional! They use Dermatoligica products (professional grade) and it was wonderful. The Salon is clean, stylish & relaxing. Threading - I have always waxed & plucked my eyebrows, so I tried the threading. It was SUPER FAST, CLEAN & doesn't hurt anymore more than plucking! I will never go back to wax or tweezers again. And as weird, as this may sound, I think it needs to be said & there isn't a non-blunt way to say it so here it goes...I am Sicilian & Norwegian, I always try new things BUT I know "American" women are sometimes nervous about going to a Persian, Syrian, Indian...even Polish or whatever - non-"white" kind of salon. All I can tell you is GET OVER IT. You are missing out. So for the timid gals (and guys) out there...The women at As'raish speak perfect English, are modern, bubbly & welcoming. Don't get fooled by the fancy frew-frew $300 a service salons, Aa'raish Salon is just as good, has better prices, without the stuck up atmosphere. They do make-up, henna, skin treatments, waxing, threading....so awesome! The only thing that intimidated me about my visit was that they are GORGEOUS! LOL but they totally made me feel like a princess and I will be going there for everything now. read more

I haven't been here in a while and I stopped because the place I usually go to was closed. I've been here before but have never seen this lady when I came so I told her I was growing them out and to just CLEAN them up! She took too much off one on the top and they're uneven . I'm so annoyed that I say clean up and I get them thinner. I won't come back here I don't care how desperate I am !! read more

I don't understand how a salon in Schaumburg has such steep prices when their esthetician's are not even licensed. A few weeks ago, a sweet, young woman really struggled with my waxing and took way too much time. The job eventually got done, but she needs more training. I don't blame her, but I do blame the owner for not properly training her at the least. You can't demand such outrageous prices and do mediocre work. Please look into helping your ladies get trained before they are on the floor! read more

Great Service! Especially the WINTER SPECIAL they have going on! Eyebrow and lip for just $8. The facials up here are amazing! They use Dermalogica and PCA. The staff seems to be super sweet! Thank you for making me beautiful! Would definitely recommend this place for facials and Brow Shaping. read more

My fiance purchased a gift certificate for my birthday. It took me awhile to use it, but I was very happy I did. I got my brows threaded, highlights, color and cut with Camila and a microderm from Anjum. The entire experience was great and I will be back soon. read more

Not very professional and doesn't seem interested in doing their job. Seems as if they're doing something and collecting money for it which isn't cheap. They need to pay attention to the customer and be careful when they do their job. read more

The ladies in this shop always do a perfect job in threading my upper lip and eyebrows. I've had three different women shape my brows and all of them did exactly what I asked! I'm so glad to have found a trustworthy spot like this one : ) read more

I found AA'arish via internet and first visited them last year summer so its been a year that I've been using their services mainly facials, henna application (on hair), waxing, threading etc. I feel that I owe this review to people who rely on sites like Yelp before trying a new service and to the owner of Aa'raish who is a total professional. Here are my observations - THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING - (most of the indian salons in the US lack this) Excellent facials - I'm originally from India and living in the US from last decade; I must say this is by far THE BEST facial experience in terms of technician, time and products that are used. Other services are also how they should be - Impeccable and quick. NO-NONSENSE ATTITUDE - You must try them if you want get some real quality work done without lots of talking (no long stories etc). CLEAN, VALUE TIME (especially if you have taken appointment) without BANK BREAKING COST They have the expertise and a very positive attitude which provides an outstanding experience to the customer. Totally recommend them to anyone searching for a quality service at reasonable price in and around Schaumburg area. read more

We promise we'll exceed your expectations! -- NOT TRUE! DO NOT GO HERE! You will be barely greeted by a vain, shallow owner who is only, ONLY, interested in your money. Her "workers" are horrible at what they do!! She COMPLETELY RUINED THE SHAPE OF MY EYEBROWS and left so much hair on my brow bone I had to go somewhere else because I DID NOT TRUST her! The entire time you are there the owner will be either on her phone or playing with her laptop computer. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I will never go back! I'd rather go to HIBA salon next door! At least at Hiba they do what the customer asks for, and not the complete opposite. I have never ever had such horrible service before until I went to Aa'raish! I hope Nobody has to go through what I did! People would rather go to a dingy location where they do excellent work, rather than a modern location where they do absolutely horrible work. read more

I have very full thick eyebrows and she made them too thin and uneven. I went home and had to use tweezers to get hairs she did miss. She also did not trim them and they NEED to be trimmed. I will take the trip to carol stream to Shardas Beauty Salon. They only charge $6 compared to the $8 charged here and do a much better job all around. read more

This place was great! It was a quick in and out threading job and she did an amazing job. Felt like I was in a salon with out the salon over crowded hassles. read more

I started coming to this salon when I moved to Schaumburg. I was tired of going to Devon for my threading so I gave this place a try. I am EXTREMELY picky but after my first visit I was completely satisified. They did an excellent job with my threading and they were always attentive to what my concerns were and were mindful of them. I like the vibe of this salon and the owner, Anjum, so much that I booked her as my make up artist for my wedding and all of my other wedding services such as waxing and mehndi. I couldn't have been happier. She picked up on the fact that I am an extremely particular person and was able to really consult with me during my trial to understand what I wanted. She recommended for me to do the airbrush make up service but I was apprehensive. I don't wear a lot of face make up so I didn't want to look too "made up." After talking with Anjum and doing some research I decided to do it and it was worth every penny! The skin make up all looked so natural and I got never ending compliments on my make up. I would recommend Anjum and the salon services to anybody for their wedding or for any other special occassion! read more

I go religiously every month for my microderm to Aa'raish, been going for the past year or so. I have tried micro in many places and believe me its one of the best micro I have gotten so far and for a great price. I see the results instantly. All the dead skin is gone and I have a great glow. I get my micro done from Anjum, she is very accommodating with my schedules, very professional and very attentive to my concerns. She also gives me great skin care advice during my microderm session. The salon is clean and staff is very friendly and welcoming. They give a face massage after the micro and the hot towel on shoulders. They do an excellent job at threading and waxing as well. Its a great experience overall. read more

Went here for an eyebrow threading- the girl who did it was very courteous and professional. It took barely any time at all- two of us were done within 15 minutes. The price for eyebrow threading was quite reasonable. However, the person I was with inquired about facial waxing, and the price was quite excessive, so I would definitely double check the prices before deciding whether to get it done or not. read more

Just one word to describe my experience here: AWESOME! Been here for threading and Microderm and this is the place to be if you want the BEST threading and facial. Anjum is Fabulous. Her staff is well-trained and they are all thorough professional. As long as I am in this city, Aa'raish will be my Beauty Destination! read more

My first time going to this place went okay at first. 20 minute wait, no big deal. So I sat down and began the eyebrow threading. She finished my eyebrows in 45 seconds and handed me the mirror to look in, leaving my ripped out hairs in my eyes to irritate them. I've never had a place do that, usually they wipe them away. Upon taking a 15 second glance I noticed she COMPLETELY ruined the shape of my left brow, and left hairs all underneath & on the sides. I have never had a worse job done on my eyebrows in my life. Super unsatisfied, and angry that I must spend an extra 10 minutes everyday to fill in and fix my left brow, on top of having to go home and finish the job myself. Brows are important. Don't risk them here.. read more

I have been going to this Salon for threading for almost an year & never been disappointed Everyone is professional & do a great job along with remembering their client's likes & dislikes I tried their Facial on a friends insistence & I was so happy with the results I got a lot of compliments on my clear & glowing skin It's my final destination for a great & relaxing service read more

I had my makeup done from Anjum for my reception day. Being a bride, I feel like I was NOT satisfied with her work at all. First and foremost, I highly disliked the fact that there was barely any consultation from her side. She was more focused on what she wanted to do rather than how I wanted it to be done. Secondly, as a professional makeup artist, she should know how to work with your face. But I was highly disappointed after looking at my pictures. I could easily point out some major faults in her makeup skills (My wedding was in NYC and had my makeup done from a different makeup artist, which I absolutely loved, therefore, I can definitely a comparison and differentiate good vs. bad). Anjum used scotch tape to even out my eye makeup - I was shocked! This is a trick used on youtube by beginners not a professional. She is a first makeup artist I've ever met who likes to sit down while putting makeup on her client - Never seen that before. I barely had any space where she did my makeup but she said she HAD to sit as well else she can't do her work (like seriously???). Plus when she was done with my makeup, I noticed she barely gave me any coverage on my problematic areas and also, my lipstick was unevenly spreading out from my lower lip (again, her attitude makes me wanna question her expertise/knowledge in this profession) My point is, if you call yourself a professional and charging an arm and length, please make sure you know what you are doing. I personally would never suggest anybody to get their makeup done from Anjum - you can see lack of skills in her work from my eyeliner to face coverage to my lipstick and everything else. Sorry for my critical review, but I don't want people to make the same mistake as I did especially on your very special day! read more

I wasn't too impressed with Aa'raish Salon, my eyebrows look okay...I usually go to a Salon in Streamwood but the eyebrow lady just had a baby, so I decided to try Aa'raish, but will never go there again. The waxing is over priced (even though they had a 20% off sign) I still paid about $45 for face waxing and it wasnt even thorough. But they are better then Hiba Salon.... I wouldn't go to Aa'raish again.. read more

Omg. I'm horrified.. My eyebrows are so thin and shapeless now. They had a nice arch and just needed to be cleaned up now they are straight lines with zero arch and they are worlds apart.. Plus they are uneven, ones higher than the other so so so upset read more

I haven't gotten my eyebrows threaded in years... Just normally keep up with the grooming myself. I always pass this salon to and from work and figured I'd give it a try! It was super clean and nicely decorated! And to my surprise it was quick and painless! But they paid very close to detail. Plus it's super cheap and have a stamp card program.. After 6 you get one for free!!! This salon is going to be my new giro place! read more

I go to the salon to have my eyebrows done, they do a great job of threading eyebrows and a fast job, They are always professional and I will continue to use their services. Took me 3 months to grow my eyebrows to the right thickness. Came here to get them cleaned and shaped up. Ruined my life and my brows

DO NOT come to this place and get your eyebrows done by GEETA She did a HORRIBLE job! Gaps in my eye beows and disnt even leave a good shape. I literally want to cry because if anyone knows about eyebrows, they know hair takes so long to grow. They should not have someone doing eyebrows that doesnt know. This is not about paying $8, Money cant replace my eyebrow hair. read more

So having moved from the city, I skeptically tried a different place each time I needed my eyebrows threaded. I even drove back to the city because at one point I was hopeless until I came here.
