I have been coming here for 3 + years and I have always have excellent service however more recently I come on the days my usual person Zee is not here and I end up with one of the other ladies.. I have no complains however one lady not sure her name she was very fast and when I mean fast it was aggressive and left me with hurting/ sore brown than the usual. Not to mention left one brow thinner than the other.. I know that brow threading comes with soreness/ redness after but this time felt different and sore to the touch.. Will definitely be coming back. It's been a while since I've had my brows threaded or waxed professionally so I've been due for the service. I walked in on a Friday afternoon and they were able to get me in a chair immediately. Hema was so sweet and helpful. Her service was great- loved how she left my brows. She left me her card that is a punch card type where after the 5th or 10th service you get a discount which is awesome. Not sure about other ladies since I haven't interacted with them but definitely recommend Hema!! It's a small place but good parking and they take both cash and card. read more

Just got my eyebrows threaded today & I LOVE them! This was my first time at this particular location. I was going to the Aaina location off Jones Rd for two years but recently moved to this area and needed to find a new threading spot. I was hoping and praying for the same service that I always received off Jones Rd, and I got just that (yay!). I don't let just anyone touch my eyebrows so I was hesitant at first, but I got exactly what I ask for & every time I come to Aaina (just clean them up and keep a little bit of the arch). They don't use a sign in sheet (Jones Rd location did), but I came today on Wednesday 3/23 around 5pm and it was only one other person so no confusion there. It was also only one staff worker. Not sure of how busy it gets here on weekends or how their staffing is since this was my first time - but I had great service. They take card & cash, however, if you pay with a card - it's $10 versus $8. So happy I found new spot, otherwise I was going to drive 35 minutes to the Jones road location! Did a little digging online for a new eyebrow place. Went to "Aania Threading" signed in, waited for about 15 minutes. The pace was not busy but there were a few people waiting - but no biggie. Went yo the second employee by the name of "Zee." I told her I wanted the natural look and sharp- not like painted on brows just professional not like I did them in the dark after watching "YouTube University." I was hopeful, nervous but pleasantly surprised and thankful. Because when it comes to eyebrows IYKYK. Will definitely return. read more

So I just left there. The ladies that are usually there were out. There were three substitutes in there. I would recommend you wait until the regular staff gets back. The ladies said the two regular ladies were on leave "vacation ". The work was not good. The worst threading I ever got. I will put a one only because I have to. I just moved to houston and was looking for a place to get my eyebrows done. If i'm being honest - I also looked down there and was just not wanting to shave, so i called to see how much a Brazilian wax was. Surprisingly it was only $45 which I think is a great price for how inflation prices are now a days. I also never had my eyebrows threaded but I will never go back to waxing. It's more precise and it doesn't leave you with irritated skin. PLUS it was only $8 like WHAT, so good. The brazilian wax for the first time hurt like a B, but will I get again, YES. The way it looks and feels (total upgrade) just amazing I won't go back to shaving. I didn't ask for Zee although I saw all these great reviews about her, but ended up getting her in the end. Excellent place! My eyebrows are difficult to thread and Zee is great at getting them together. Pretty fast service, especially when you go when it is not busy. I've also received a Brazilian from there which was good as well. I've visited the other location however this one is closer for me and I'm glad about it! You won't regret the visit. read more

I was late to my appointment. She took me anyways, even though she had somewhere else to be. My niece has been wanting a henna. She freestyled and asked my niece what she wanted, clearly trying to incorporate my niece's wants. Only charged $10. I tipped $10 because she took us even tho it was 10 minutes to closing and she had a line. I'll be back for sure read more

Can't recommend this place enough!!! I get my brows threaded and tinted for a while now and just not got the guts to get a eyelash tint and and lift , last time I had one of those I had the worst experience at another place and that was almost 8 years ago and was very hesitant over it but I've gone to this place for a while for facials, brows and now lashes will do it again when they are ready ! Clearly you are in your feelings about this post and it got under your skin, that's probably due to the fact people rarely complain when establishments aren't as clean as they should be. However, asking someone to change their gloves that they've used on multiple people shouldn't have led to this back and forth on Yelp. Have you ever heard the phrase "Only hit dogs holler"? So the fact that you're making comments like "I hope you're as clean as you put on" or whatever it was you said, that only shows you know you guys are dirty. But no worries, although you don't give a crap about sanitizing between customers, which means you don't give a crap about the safety of your customers, your shop is pretty and you all do a great job. So again, if someone doesn't care we are still in a pandemic and doesn't mind someone touching money and other customers, then touching their face...They'll love this place! Instead of thinking of snappy comebacks at 2am, you should've been on Amazon looking for gloves so your customers don't catch a staph infection from your lack of cleanliness. read more

I've been searching for a new place to get my eyebrows and face threaded. After reading the positive reviews at Aaina Threading, I decided to give it a shot . The interior was super chic and comfortable. There was no wait and I was immediately helped by Zee. I noticed they offered eyebrow tinting and since I recently died by hair I needed to lighten my brows . I had my eyebrows threaded and then tinted, which turned out amazing. 5 people were in front of me and 6 people came in while I was waiting. With all of those people I was in and out within 40 minutes. I got there at 2 and left at 2:37. It was a Sunday and they only had 1 employee working. She was wiping the chairs down in between people getting up and sitting down and she was rotating through which chair she had people sitting in. She was also checking people out. So she was doing ALOT and still moving fast. It's $8 for eyebrow threading but $2 more to use a card. Still very inexpensive especially compared to prices you'll find at the shops in the mall. Stop by if you're in the area. I will come back if I ever am for sure! Thank you. read more

I moved to Texas late 2019 from New York and I couldn't find a great salon or would even trust anyone with my eyebrows. I stumbled upon this on my Apple Maps and I went to the Yelp reviews and saw nothing but great comments. I kept seeing Hema name, so I took a shot and requested Hema. OH MY GOSH. Best decision ever. Hema was extremely fast and thorough. She provided recommendations on my brow when she saw that I was not quite happy with the shape. She even went a step further and filled in the shape to show me how it would look. I am DEFINITELY a new customer! In addition, the shop is clean and tidy. Thankfully there is a threading location on this side of Louetta that you can get in and out of easily! The owner is so gracious and charming! I really noticed a difference in the technique and even the thread that she used. Maybe I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for a very long time. Or maybe I am just a very observant person. She is very gentle and if you have any questions she happily answers you throughout the process. Her shop is clean and you can tell you takes pride in her work, which would be your brows, and of course her shop. I appreciate her not rushing through mine (I was first but I stayed for three others because I got tinting) or rushing through any other clients brows. I've been in shops where it was pop, pop pop. And I'm sure they get used to it but there is something about care, and attention. read more

The lady is standing outside with me and says nothing as I am walking back in. It is important to get paid but so is treating people with decency. This is why people are no longer going to these shops. Limited skills and bad attitudes.

My best friend was already halfway through her service by the time I was approached with an available tech 30 minutes later. By that time, I didn't want my friend waiting long for me to get done, so I opted out of the service. I completely understand being short staffed, but we would have gladly waited for two techs to be available in order to be serviced together. I have a hard time believing they didn't know about the appointment prior to sitting me down because that appointment arrived and was seen within 5 minutes of me sitting down and being helped. I've never been sat, had a service started, and then have a tech leave for another appointment. It made me extremely uncomfortable, disappointed, and I immediately regretted bringing my friend there. Luckily she had a good experience but because of what she saw and because of how I was treated, we will not be returning and I will be finding another nail salon.
