Nicholas is great. We have worked with him the last 2 years. He works quickly, communicates clearly, and is very flexible with scheduling and our household needs. His prices are also more reasonable than many other cleaning services we have worked with in the past, which makes the quality of his work an even better value. What we appreciate most is that he listens to what we ask for and cleans the home the way we want it done. He is reliable, easy to work with, and takes care of things without making the process complicated. We genuinely like him and are very happy with his work. Highly recommend Nicholas to anyone looking for a dependable, affordable, and efficient home cleaner. read more

We needed a top to bottom clean of our 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house after renting the place for a year. The word forensic is the best way to describe what Nick did for us. Unreal. His work ethic and the results were so good we just kept adding things! After the solid clean of all surfaces, we had him clean the upholstered couches and chairs, all the windows inside and out (including the screens), he did all the cabinetry in the house, then he pressure washed all the outdoor areas (concrete and decking) and got on the roof and cleaned the skylights. Nick is detail oriented and fastidious, two great qualities for a cleaner. Our house was furnished, which certainly made the job more work for Nick, what with moving the furniture around etc, but he took it in stride. He seemed to really want to get the job done right. We highly recommend Nick, particularly for a DEEP CLEAN. read more

If I could describe my experience with Nicholas with one word, it's 'chaotic.' If you are thinking of booking with Nicholas - stay fully informed and read his negative reviews too, don't be fooled by all the 5 star reviews. During my first phone call with Nicholas, I told him the details of my house that he needed to clean, and he gave me a reasonable rate and promised to show-up at scheduled time. The morning of my cleaning, he arrived 1.5 hours late (and gave notice which is fine), but when he arrived, I guess he saw that I lived in a nice house in a nice neighborhood and then told me his cleaning would be nearly twice would he originally quoted me because it was "2 stories." During my first phone call with him, I had already told him all the details of the house and his original quote was for a deep cleaning, but in-person he said if I still wanted to do a deep cleaning, I would have to pay a much higher rate. He defensively asked me if I had told him that the house was 2 stories, but that really makes little difference because the only thing missing with the sq footage is the stairs which he didn't clean well anyway. He pointed to his Yelp reviews saying how good he is and how good it would be if I did the deep cleaning with him. He kept commenting on how dirty the carpet was (it wasn't), how much dust there was, and how all the walls needed to be cleaned, the windows (which he didn't clean anyway); etc. etc. basically going on and on about how dirty my house was. I asked him if I should be concerned about damage to the house given the heavydutiness he was promising, and he scoffed at me saying he doesn't "do damage." Since I hadn't yet moved in and was moving in soon and didn't have time to find a new cleaner before then, I agreed to his much higher rate. I also trusted that he knew better than me. And I don't mind paying more if he could deliver on what he was promising - that he was going to do the "deepest cleaning ever," better than any "molly maid" could do, but long story short he did not. Quite honestly a "molly maid" would have done a much better job than he did. After I agreed to his much higher rate, he said he had to get more equipment and disappeared for literally more than 2 hours without communicating or telling me. I literally got concerned since he wasn't answering my texts and thought something bad might have happened to him on the way. By the time he got back it was late in the afternoon and he still hadn't begun cleaning. So by this time he was literally more than 5 hours behind. When he did start cleaning he wasn't very efficient with his time, moving through the house at what I considered a slow pace. He kept promising me that the cleaning was going to be amazing, so I let him do his thing. Since I did not live at the house yet, in the early evening I let him know I would be leaving and that I was trusting him to take care of the house and lock the doors on the way out. Silly me I also gave him a very generous tip on top of the much higher rate, telling him I was trusting that he would do a good job and lock my doors up. When I returned to the house, the entire first floor was barely cleaned, there were stains on my tile from where his equipment was, handles broken and damage on the walls from where he presumably slammed the doors. It was incredibly insulting and just shows that he wasn't careful or respectful of the house. Everything but the carpets on the second floor was barely cleaned - the bathrooms were still dirty, dust was literally falling on me when I touched high surfaces, just very obvious dirt still on the first story floor. Entire sections of the house completely missed. Even the carpets themselves missed a lot of the harder to get areas. I essentially had to clean the house myself because Nicholas didn't do it. Basically, I paid for carpet cleaning and some house damage (I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 for the carpet work). The lack of honesty was astounding and insulting. It was so bad I didn't even want to contact him back to fix what he missed due to the character he revealed, and chalked it up to my loss. It's entirely possible that he simply got tired and ran out of time, given how delayed the entire day was. But it's very obvious that half the house had not been cleaned, and he should have been honest about that instead of running off pretending everything was done. There were definitely more pictures I could have taken but didn't since I wasn't planning on writing a review at the time, but I've attached a few for folks to see. My overall impression of him was that he was dishonest, defensive, and strange. I would be wary about hiring Nicholas for a cleaning. Out of all of the people I've invited into my house to work on my home, Nicholas is the one that I regret. EDIT: After Nicholas's correspondence with me after he saw my review, it's clear why there are so few negative reviews. I won't be pressured to take this review down. read more

We hired Nicholas for a massive two-day project, and the results are honestly insane. Day one was the deep interior clean, and he is obsessed with details, our grout and corners look brand new. Day two was all about the exterior: he power washed almost all our outdoor areas, which look spotless now. He even squeezed in some general yard cleanup for us, which was a HUGE bonus and saved us so much time. Beyond the work, he's just a great guy. Super positive attitude, completely honest, and works harder than anyone. If you need a total property refresh, this is your guy. Highly, highly recommend! read more

Nicholas works harder than anyone i have ever seen. I hired him for deep cleaning my home and the work he did no other home cleaner ever came close to doing. He came into the house with enough equipment to clean Crypto Arena. He made my floors look new. I never noticed how dark and dirty my floors became. If you want a quick cleaning, thats not Nicholas. He will clean your home thoroughly and stay as long as you let him. I love his work and passion for it. read more

First of all I want to let people know that Nicholas is a very young man working harder than I've seen anyone work in years. The negative comments except for one, we're all over five years ago. And anyone who has been in their own business can relate to the fact that you learn a lot when you first go into it. You're not the best you can be at the beginning but you evolve which I firmly believe Nicholas has done. I was flooded out of my house and lived elsewhere for 9 months. After construction I came back recently and everything was covered with dust and dirt, including several chandeliers throughout my house. He cleaned all of them beautifully, he deep cleaned my floors, and that's all I wanted him to do at the time. He offered many times to do little things extra for me which I never expected. Nicholas goes out of his way to please his customers. And if something is not quite how you want it, he accepts your input and improves upon whatever it is. He has now done several things around my house and I've never seen anyone clean up after himself as thoroughly as he does. He is compassionate and has empathy for his clients and I can't express enough of my appreciation as to how much he's helped me in unexpected ways. I recommend him fully and ask that you consider the sources of negativity and the years back that they go. He has learned much in his journey and I think he's terrific. There isn't a tool that he doesn't have to address whatever it is your feeling needs. Give him a try and make your input very clear and understood. Nicholas you're the best! read more

I had a great experience with Nick. He was professional, friendly, thorough, and paid close attention to detail. My home looked and felt incredibly clean when he was finished. I really appreciated his reliability and the care he put into the work. I would definitely recommend Nick to anyone looking for a trustworthy and high-quality cleaning service. I'll definitely be using his services again! read more

Best deep cleaning service. My house is beautiful again. Nicholas cleaned my entire house better than any cleaning service I have ever hired. He did a deep cleaning and my house looks fantastic. I have concrete floors and he deep cleaned them using a special process that made the floors look great . He is personable, reliable and he has a dog. read more

Nicholas was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our church had 80 sanctuary chairs in storage. We need them this Sunday for Easter. To our chagrin, there was years of dust that had collected on them. I will definitely be reaching out again for future cleaning needs. read more

Nicholas was super helpful, did a great job, and was friendly and a pleasure to work with. I wish I would have gotten the full package (deep clean) after talking with him more when he was finished, but he did a fantastic job and I can't recommend him enough. I can tell he takes pride in his business and I wish him nothing but success! read more

I have lived in my house since 1986 and I had never had it "deep cleaned". After two renovation projects in late 2025, I decided that my house needed a more detailed cleaning than what I or my regular cleaning person could do. After getting a quote from Nicholas (the owner of Affordable Cleaning), I decided to hire him. From the start I had a good feeling about Nicholas and my instincts were right! He is an excellent communicator and he completed every item I asked him too. He comes with every cleaning product imaginable as well as several impressive machines. These are just some of the tasks he performed: Window washing (inside and out) He cleaned my couch He used an unfamiliar (to me) product and machine to get my floors so clean they shined He moved my beds to vacuum under them He "refreshed" my mattress He cleaned all my ceiling fixtures He cleaned all the baseboards He cleaned my walls where my German Shepherd lays He cleaned all my plantation shutters (I have them on 9 windows) and that's just a partial list! My house sparkles and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be calling Affordable Cleaning in the future to keep my house looking this good! read more

This is my second time hiring Nicholas, and definitely will not be the last. He had the best quote (trust me, I have talked to many different cleaning companies) and he does a thorough job! As a landlord, he is my go-to guy every single time I need a deep cleaning after tenant's move-out of my condo. He is very responsive and will make suggestions or recommendations if he sees fit, but does not pressure you to do any additional add-ons. Since I've worked with him before, I always trust his judgement. He sends me updates and goes above and beyond. Thank you for always making my condo nice and clean for the next tenants! read more

Nicholas is by far the most thorough and detailed cleaner I've ever met! He is kind, professional, and effective. He takes the time to make sure the job is done to the highest standard. Most recently, we had him clean our floors that I was convinced were forever-dirty and made them look like new! I never could have gotten them that clean myself. I look forward working with him again in the future! read more

When I tell you, Nicolas is thorough!! He clease nooks and crannies and areas you never thought of. He goes above and beyond cleaning. I can truely say, for me its Nicolas from now on. If you're looking for fantastic home cleaning from someone who puts their absolute heart&soul into the job and leaves no stone unturned this is your guy. Nick took care of my move out cleaning Including cabinets, oven (yikes), stove, bathroom, floors, carpets and windows. This was a monumental task requiring grit, sweat and attention to detail. I trusted and left the key with him to complete the task as without a hazmat mask I couldn't stand to breathe the cleaning materials. I've seen few people work this hard; he grinded away giving it his all taking out the stains in the carpet, scrubbing the cabinets, chiseling the dirt off the windows, wiping all the dirt off staircase and not cutting any corners. Do yourself a favor and hire this guy for your cleaning needs! read more

Nicholas is the GOAT! He and I spoke a few times to set up a time to clean a family member's home before it was going to be listed. We agreed on a price and he was there on the day and time promised. Hired Nicholas to do a deep clean of my 4 bed/3 bath townhouse that we just bought prior to move in. The day before he requested to come an hour later than originally scheduled, 11am instead of 10am, which we agreed to. At 11am he wasn't there and sent a message that he would need to come at 2pm. We originally told him no and that we would hire someone else since it really threw off our day. He was very apologetic and offered a discount so we decided to give him a chance. As much as this was an inconvenience I did not take stars off for it because of the discount he gave us. He assured us that we would still get the quality of clean we were looking for. The 2 stars are based on the quality of work which I will describe now. The previous owner had a dog so we asked him to focus on wiping everything down and paying a lot of attention to the floors and baseboards. I wanted to ensure the grime and dog hair was all gone. After he had finished the upstairs I walked through and had to point out spots where it has not even been wiped (hair still on shelf in closet and dust/hair on baseboard). I should have closely checked everything else when he finished but it was 7pm. I'm 6 months pregnant and at that point in the evening needed to get home to eat and put my toddler to bed. Plus I was unable to check the floors as they were still wet. The pictures were taken the next day when we returned to the house and I was able to look more closely. Just using a towel and water I could see the floors were still filthy and there were several places that were not deep cleaned, because all it took me was a few minutes with a rag to get spots and dirt off. We have hired cleaners for deep cleans at several of our previous homes and this is not the quality we expected. I can not recommend his service unfortunately. read more

I am amazed at how clean he got our very old & very stained carpet. Stains that had been in our carpet for years & had already been cleaned by previous cleaners in the past, are GONE! Nicholas is a very rare gem in that he actually CARES about the results. He worked on our house for 12 hours. That is not an exaggeration, he worked diligently & very hard for an entire day. When an area wasn't coming clean, he didn't move on, he kept going over it again & again because he wanted it CLEAN! He gave us an incredible price for the amount of work that he did. He was respectful, a good communicator, & very careful not to cause any damage to the surfaces in our home. I recommend him whole heartedly & I know you will not find a more dedicated person to care for your home than Nicholas. read more

I called Nicholas for a move-out deep cleaning of my property and he did a truly stellar job. The place was sparkling from top to bottom. Nicholas was awesome! He did a very thorough cleaning. Even stayed late cleaning till he was done. Very impressed with his work. The move out inspector said the place was immaculate, thanks to Nick. Nick made availability for an urgent job on short-notice, reviewed the job on the same day, and his pricing was competitive. He was friendly and did an impeccable job, so much so that the property manager asked for his contact information. Nick's attention to detail and persistence to get the job done was top of the line. If you want someone to clean the right way and make your house spotless, he is your man. We looked at many vendors but eventually chose Nick because he 1) pays attention to the details, and 2) has high standards for what clean really is, and 3) does the work himself. It's clear why he does the work himself - it's hard to get hired help to clean to the level that Nick does. Would you rather have 3 hired day laborers and a shoddy job or one precise, thorough, detailed cleaner who will not stop until it's to his standard of clean? If you care about the quality of the clean, you will not regret hiring Nick one bit. read more

He's good. He definitely does the detailed clean that you would typically want before moving out of a place. However, he didn't turn down the more routine, but very necessary, job I needed done. Plus I did agree to have my carpet cleaned since we had been living in our house for almost 3 years and never had it done (only vacuumed). Actually, the whole house had never been cleaned professionally since we moved in. He showed up 45 minutes late but at least he stayed in contact about it. The business I hired the day before never even showed up. The man takes his work seriously and works hard at what he does. I would definitely recommend if you need a serious, detailed clean. read more

It is rare to find someone who works as hard as Nick does at his job. We have hired him twice for a deep clean of our 4bd/3bath and both times he has done an amazing job. He truly takes pride in his work. He is extremely detailed and doesn't just make sure dirt/grime is off he makes everything shine. He was glad to show me the steps and materials he uses. Just the granite counters for him was a multi step process involving cleaning, scrubbing, buffing, and sealing. He paid attention to the grout in our bathroom, the windows ended up transparent and sparkling, and our carpets and rugs were left perfect. Even our tile floor he didn't just mop but also put on a top coat that made it shine. Everything he left was spotless and shining! Nick is also an extremely professional and a friendly guy. He has a can-do attitude and always wants you to be not just satisfied but extremely impressed. read more

Nicholas is fabulous! Incredibly well versed in cleaning supplies, rather scientific in his approach, very professional and diligent. He was flexible and responsive to our needs and did a deep cleaning on some stinky carpets that had been inhabited by someone else's pets and I thought would never smell decently. I did not feel the need to watch over him because I was working outside initially and could see how hard he was working and so I just left and when we got back hours later we were wowed with the results, and so grateful! He did a move in clean for us, I did not get the windows done and am kicking myself now that I see how good he is, I do not think I would have felt comfortable in the house without him getting it cleaned first. All that said - I would use him for the deep cleaning but for things like showers and ovens and cabinets, he may not be the right fit I have a lot of respect for Nicholas' work effort, I will definitely hire him again for the hard to manage cleaning jobs. read more

Nick came to deep clean our home before guests were arriving and we are so glad to have found him. Even though our home has been clean 5 weeks prior, Nick had his work cut out for him. Nicholas is a charismatic, warm and considerate individual who will get the work done and done well. We were new to the area and unsure of the quality of home cleaning, especially for a new home to be moved into. Nicholas took his time to come in the day before and do a proper assessment of the area to bring the right equipment. Carpet? No problem, second story windows? He's got it. What I loved most was his attention to detail. He was incredibly thorough with the sanitation steps as he cleaned, cleaned with hospital grade antiseptics, and then steam cleaned. Windows we're spotless and if not, he made a point that there were issues out of his control. He was clear and to the point about many things he saw and that level of clear communication is really important especially being in the service industry. I am definitely going to call him often when we need the extra hand in cleaning. read more
